Reviews for Boudreaux's Butt Paste Maximum Strength Diaper Rash Cream, Ointment for Baby, 4 oz Tube

People say Boudreauxs Butt Paste is really similar to Aquaphor.

The only one that worked!

my baby had a bad diaper rash that i just couldn't get rid of, she had diarrhea also which didn't help with ailing it. i tried Desitin, Aquaphor, A&D for baby, but nada! this but paste did the trick, its thick and stayed on after the next pee/poop. I will definitely use this if baby ever gets a rash again.

healed stubborn diaper rash in days!

what a relief this product is! it worked within days on a very stubborn diaper rash. we practice elimination communication so baby spent many hours diaper free most days and still a rash emerged one day around five months and persisted for days / weeks. this was better than three other diaper creams we tried (aquaphor, desitin, and a&d). i also had tried breastmilk because it healed everything else (antimicrobial and anti fungal!) but i learned that breastmilk is no good for most diaper rash, as they are often yeast related and milk can increase that. i have seen some reviews mention scent, we didn’t find it unpleasant, it’s fairly mild. it does get all over and stick to your hands like most diaper creams. but it’s so worth it!

The only thing that worked

I was doing a thorough research on what diaper rash cream I should get for my babe. I liked everything about this one, except that it was scented and I just didn't want anything with fragrance on my baby's bottom. So, I ended up getting the Aquaphor fast relief diaper rash paste since it has the highest percentage of zinc oxide at 40% plus it has no fragrance in it. It gave my baby's bottom relief after a few days, but the rash kept returning (we even went to see the pediatrician to make sure it wasn't something else). I've tried Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Cream for Sensitive skin and that didn't work at all because the percentage of zin oxide was only 16%. So I finally decided to give Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Cream Maximum Strength (40% zinc oxide - same as the Aquaphor one) a try, even though it was scented. IT WORKED. The rash never came back. Heck, maybe it's the fragrance that did the trick, for all I know.

Our favorite formula

I have gone back to this formula time and time again. I have tried aquaphor, A&D ointment, and even the aloe formula from this brand. The original out-performs them all by far when it comes to how fast it clears up little diaper rashes. It’s all I plan to buy for baby #2.

Works for us!

This stuff is opaque white! If that puts you off, this is not the product for you! A little goes a very long way. However, my daughter had the WORST diaper rash you could imagine, peeling, blistering, and very red! In combination with baby aquaphor, this stuff cleared up her nasty rash within 3 days. I now put it on her bottom regularly for preventative reasons and she hasn't had a rash since!

Worked wonders on some bad butt rash

This stuff worked magic on my tiny baby's rash. I thought maybe she had a yeast rash because of how raw her butt was, but there were no other signs of it. We tried Bordreaux's and it faded away within a couple days. We also did baking soda baths and airing her butt out in the sun. But, I'll call it a combo of things that helped us along. Our Desitin and Aquaphor and Burt's just didn't do the trick. So I'm sold on Bordreaux's while she's wearing disposables.

I never thought that I would be writing a review for butt paste but here I am. This is better than a&d, aquaphore, and any other butt paste!! *****

Works but not as quick

It works but not as quick as Aquaphor or Desitin.

Works

Works well, seems to heal diaper rash fast. I just still feel better about using Aquaphor and desitin for the really bad cases.
