Why did I wait so long?

I have tried every natural thing for my dandruff-y, funky scalp. I did tea tree, neem, a couple Aveda systems, borax- just everything. For a couple YEARS. I'd see mild improvement, but it was always a struggle and if I let up, it was back with a vengeance. And then I used this twice and it's just all gone. I'm going to keep using it for a while to make sure this stuff is killed off completely, but I can already tell I'm not going to have gross lumps of dead skin in my hair ever again. I've had a lot of hair loss the last couple years too, and I have SO much hope that this will help reverse that! I'm still using my nice natural shampoo as my main shampoo. This stuff is kind of harsh. But as medicine it can't be beat and I'm so glad I bought it.

FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS!

Ive been suffering from flaky scalp for the past few years and have gone to several dermatologist and have been told all the same things and never could get rid of it and I felt like I'd go bald trying to clear my head from loose flakes ughh I tried AVEDA scalp therapy which is a temp fix and Oils. Ugh nothing until I found THIS! miracle worker! Made my scalp a bit greasy after 2 days of no wash but I'd take that any day over dry flaky skin in my scalp and upper forehead !!! LOVE THIS STUFF!

It works for my dry scalp

I’m gonna start this off by saying I bought this as a last ditch effort to help with my dry scalp. I’ve tried what seems like a hundred products with limited results. Most recently I was using a cleanser and leave in treatment from Aveda that was $100 and month and still only providing minimum relief. After the very first use I saw my dry scalp reduce by at least 75%. I do use this with the aveda cleanser still for the best results for me. I do still notice some dry flakes for the first day after every use but after that it seems to be highly effective. Would definitely recommend for anyone with dry scalp.

Miracle product!

For years I've been struggling with dandruff and dry scalp. It was never the kind of dandruff that itched but it would always end up on my shoulders and all over my pillow case. I've tried expensive shampoos (aveda, redken, tea tree) but nothing ever seemed to get rid of the flaking completely so i decided to give this one a shot when I saw the reviews on Amazon. The first week I used it 3 times and then after that I used it about twice a week and after 2 1/2 Weeks my dandruff was completely gone. Now i only use it once a week just to maintain. My hair is a little shorter than shoulder length and even after about 6 weeks i still have half the bottle.

Excellent shampoo--does the job with 1-2 uses per week

Ever since Aveda discontinued their burdock root-infused Scalp Benefits line, I've been using this shampoo about once or twice a week. I've had no scalp irritation or other issues since!

And I'm glad I did

I don't always write reviews for products but this stuff worked so well I couldn't not write. I have never had dandruff or issues with flakes in my life until about 4-6 months ago. I tried Paul Mitchell tea tree oil, Aveda scalp relief (which I still love) but nothing was helping. I finally did some research and decided to try this. And I'm glad I did, flakes were almost completely gone after the first use/wash! I did notice I had gone a day without washing my hair and some flakes did reappear but once I washed again the shampoo took care of it. I would recommend this again and again. I have brown hair and dandruff was showing up near the front of my scalp and around my part. Now I don't have to worry about flakes anymore.

Good stuff

Please note: I did not buy via amazon, but have indeed been using this shampoo. A few years ago, I noticed that I was pretty much constantly scratching my scalp, often to the point where there was a raw, sore spot. Not sure WHY this is, but I tried just about even women's drugstore shampoo and conditioner I could find. Each one left me itchy and sometimes with a couple of sores on my head. This is the only thing that has given me relief from that. Not event fancy salon shampoos like aveda helped. Highly recommend.
