Reviews for Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, Beauty Sponge For Makeup Blending & Foundation Application, Streak Free Full Coverage Finish, 1 Count
People say Real Techniques is really similar to Beautyblender.
better than beautyblender
I was wondering if this is worth the buy or if I needed to splurge on that $20 beautyblender and let me just tell you the short answer: nope. My friend has both the Real Techniques sponge and the patented pink Beauty Blender, so we tried them out, one on each side of her face. I actually liked the application of the RT sponge a little better because it gave slightly more fuller coverage, which I think is due to the fact it is a tiny bit more firm and thus likely absorbs less product. All in all great dupe, improved my makeup noticeably and made blending better & easier--recommend.

Bought as a backup to my BeautyBlender, and had to come buy more for my daughters! This is the ONLY brand that compares, and with budget friendly price! Arrived on time and as described, we will be back for more soon!
this is a must-have
This sponge has completely changed the way I apply makeup. I've tried many beauty sponges in search of the perfect beautyblender dupe, and this one is about as close as it gets! It has just the right amount of firmness, and can apply makeup well without soaking it up and wasting product. It can stain easily, which is why frequent cleaning is necessary to keep it pristine for as long as possible. As long as you are gentle during the cleaning process, you shouldn't have any problems with tearing.
Looking for a blending sponge? LOOK NO FURTHER!
If you're anything like me, you care about your make up not looking caked on and fake. I'm relatively new to the latest makeup trends, but it became very evident to me that a blending sponge is a must have in the daily essentials kit. I'm also the type of online shopper who reads the reviews before making a purchase, especially when it comes to something that is going to touch my face. The RT sponge is just wonderful! Allow me to break it down for you: First, let's talk price: In comparison to the BeautyBlender (because I'm sure you know about it) this sponge is significantly less expensive, I believe the BeautyBlender hovers around $20 where the RT sponge was just under $10. Don't be fooled however, the RT sponge may be short on cash, but it is not short on performance. Size: The RT sponge is rather large, about the size of a small(er) lemon. However, the size assures you that you will get optimum coverage, and I think contributes to the flawless finish. Material: The material of the RealTechniques Sponge reminds me of a memory foam pillow. It's soft to the touch and smooth on the skin. Simply wonderful. The sponge does expand some when it is wet, but not too much. For me, it was just enough! Wetting the sponge contributes to the dewey look I prefer, a vibrant, fresh skin, natural look. One thing I have to say about the RT sponge is it seems to hold water a bit. This isn't a terrible thing, I'd simply recommend allowing it to dry overnight (after cleaning) if you need to... Love it! Should have bought this long ago!
It's a great knockoff of the beautyblender. The sponge didn't break me out or irritate my skin. It works great with my foundations and bb creams. It's great for foundation with a thicker or thinner consistency. It made my foundation on my skin look flawless. The great thing that it is affordable. Highly recommend this product.
Definately give this a try if you do not want to spend alot of money on the beautyblender. For foundation application this works best dampened.
this is it. its a miracle
i have not tried a beautyblender before so i cannot make comparison but this sponge changed my makeup. it was flawless. it is so easy and just makes you feel like a pro. for now i use it for my foundation and concealer. i am yet to use it for a powder. would stock up on this. its a life saver. highly recommended
Very happy with it!
This is such a great alternative to the beautyblender. For the price you can't beat it, it does what it claims to do and is easy to use.
Good, not great
Almost as good as beautyblender, but not quite but good for the price.
