Reviews for Women's Cushionaire Lela Cork footbed Sandal with +Comfort

People say Cushionaire is really similar to Birkenstock.

Good substitute for the brand name cork sandal

Have been a wearer of Birkenstocks all my life, but can no longer afford the exorbitant prices. While this is just a substitute, it seems to be a good one, for a fraction of the Birkie price. Will update after I have worn them for a while. Other knock-offs I've owned have not held up with wear. These seem to be well made and solid.

Super cute and comfy!

These are really great! They are definitely more comfortable than any other sandals with cork soles. I’ve tried on Birkenstocks and they aren’t very comfortable at first, and it takes a while to break them in. I was very pleased that I found this style! These are the style of Birks I always wanted so I was stoked to find these. The straps are soft and don’t cut into my feet at all (which I always worry about with any sandals). As far as sizing is concerned—I went a 1/2 size up based on reviews and I’m happy I did. I usually wear a 7-7.5 depending on the style of shoe and I bought the 8 in these. They fit perfectly. A 7.5 would have been too small. For the price and comfort level I’m glad I purchased them. They look just like Birks nobody can tell the difference. If you’re on the fence—buy them, you won’t be disappointed.

Super comfortable!

I purchased these on Amazon and later that day found a brand new pair of Birkenstocks at a thrift store. These shoes arrived a few days later and were clearly SO much more comfortable off the bat. They required no "breaking in" time. The only negative I found which didn't even really warrant a star-off, was that the tread on the bottom has really worn down quicker than expected. I predict the bottoms will be the weakest link on these shoes but they are so affordable that I wouldn't mind needing to buy a new pair each summer.

Awesome support and comfort!!!

I never have owned Birkenstock shoes before and wanted a pair for a few years now just never pulled the trigger on them because of the price. My boss has these super cute and expensive sandals on one day and I asked her if they were Birks and she surprisingly said no,,, these are from Amazon to which I was like whaaat?? She told me they were Cushionair and super comfortable and under half the price of Birks so tried hers on and thought “omg these are like pillows for the feet!!” I immediately bought them and am glad I did! I am 52 years old,,,I have bad knees and a flare up every now and then of plantar fasciitis and these sandals allow me to have something modern and cute like all the young girls wear but at a great price! You can’t tell the difference between the two brands! Get them! You will have no regrets!!

Better than Birkenstocks

Wow! I do not have anything bad to say about these shoes. I have small feet - size 6/6.5 and my feet are very narrow. I have tried on countless pairs of Birkenstocks, and they never fit quite right. The Birkenstocks were always too wide and extremely stiff. These shoes are the opposite. They are SO comfortable - the bottom is like walking on a cloud. They are not too wide and are malleable to your walking pattern. I absolutely love these sandals and cannot recommend them enough! Total bargain!

Sturdy, comfortable, supportive sandals!

I have arthritis and other painful issues with my feet. I wanted something slip-on, that I could wear around the house and stand to cook in, without my feet hurting. I tried a number of expensive, highly rated slip-ons that I returned because they hurt my feet after 20 minutes. When I found these, I was skeptical because they were so cheap but free returns meant I wasn't risking anything. I did not return these shoes! They are soooo comfortable and my feet don't hurt, even when I'm on them for hours. I basically use these as at home slippers, but you could use them anywhere. I've never owned Birkenstocks, but I can't imagine how they could be any more comfortable and supportive than these. If you have painful feet, give these a try!

Super comfortable

I have several pairs of Birkenstocks, including the Florida (Birko-Flor) that looks identical to the Lea. I can't comment on how long this Cushionaire version will hold up in comparison to the Birkenstocks, but the Cushionaire version has a more cushioned and comfortable footbed. For less than one-quarter of the Birkenstock price, it is totally worth it!

Comfort and cost

I had a pair of Birkenstocks for years, but when they wore out and I went looking, I discovered just how expensive the birks have become. Since I am no longer as active as I once was and I saw the Cushionaire description and reasonable price, I decided to give them a try. Am I glad I did. They are just as comfortable as the more expensive brand. Granted, they may not last as long, but for my daily home use, I am very satisfied with the fit and comfort. There are so many styles and colors to choose from. After I showed them to my son, he ordered the male version and is also very happy with that brand. I definitely have happy feet and would purchase again!

Better than birkenstocks! Must buy.

Ok so I love these shoes I was shocked at the high quality for such a low price. Will be looking at this brand for more shoes. They’re very comfy fit true to size (literally perfect) and a lot slimmer looking than birkenstocks which I love because I hate shoes that make your feet look clunky. Definitely buy! Will say they only add about an inch of height tho.

As cool as birkenstock but affordable

Love this sandals, they are so comfortable and soft. Last pair I got last me so long, even when I got them wet so many times. 😅
