People say Shark is really similar to Bissell.

If you have hard floors you NEED to own this

I have many hardwood floors and like many people, I hate vacuuming them just to map them later. I wanted a more efficient approach to keeping my house clean and this was it! I love this so much I use it daily. It is so handy to grab and clean a small area fast. Downsides are the pads that need to be changed and thrown away, I am not fond of creating more trash. Another downside is the size of the head. It takes a bit more time than I would like due to the size but it is still much faster and more efficient than a two step process. The alternate was the $300 bissel which is a great product but I didn’t want to hassle with cleaning it out and lugging it around, not to mention the price. I am very happy with my choice and recommend this to everyone I know. Absolutely brilliant time saving way to clean.

A MUST But!!!!!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this month. My only mistake is not buying another one or two. I live in a three-story condo and have vacuums on each level as it is difficult to lug them from one floor to another. This was definitely one of my better purchases. To sweeten the pot, I purchased this used from Amazon marketplace. The description stated it had many cosmetic flaws. They could have fooled me because the thing looks brand new and works like a charm. This is something I feel everyone should run out and purchase, especially if you have hardwood and or tile in your home. In my opinion, it works better on hard surfaces than the Bissell cross wave.

Life saver!

Love it! A true life saver! I do wanna mention that I don‘t have kids, so I basically wanted to find something to help me clean after my cats. I love the wet-dry vacuum idea and I prefer something cordless as I have to clean bathroom both down&upstairs. I have compared a lot models, Bissell has a cordless version but costs almost $400 which is too expensive so I decided to give shark a try. I have to say it‘s pretty impressive to me, simple and clear functions, easy to carry all around the house. It‘s a great add-on to my other two heavy duty corded vacuums.

Read the instructions & lower your expectations and it’s great!

I think the VACMOP works great! Go into purchasing this with the knowledge that it is NOT a replacement for the Bissell Crosswave. This is not a cheaper alternative for the crosswave and is more suited to quick, smaller spot cleans than it is deep cleans. I read many of the reviews before purchasing through Costco and I believe most of the poor reviews are because they likely did not read the instructions (like me). I had the issue where a part of the mop was scraping on the floor; and I realized I hadn’t clicked the pads in correctly. Once everything was assembled properly it worked perfectly well. If your floors don’t get cleaned often or you live somewhere with excessive dust & dirt (I’m in S. Utah; and it’s awful), I’d be wary to use this as an all over clean. This is great for the occasional spill or crumbs throughout the kitchen type of clean. I’d say this is mostly just a swiffer with a vaccum attached. Again, lower your expectations of what this mop can achieve and you’ll probably enjoy the ease and convenience of a grab & go spot cleaner.

New Favorite

This has easily become my favorite floor cleaner for every day use! So convenient, no big clean up process. My Bissell Crosswave has been collecting dust since I got the Shark VacMop. It’s light enough that my kids can use it too. The vacuum suction is a lot better than I thought it would be. It does a good job at cleaning up to the baseboards. Really love this thing!

MUST HAVE

I am a HUGE Shark customer and own/have owned just about every piece of merchandise that Shark carries. Before purchasing this mop, I read/watched info regarding the Bissell Crosswave and was not impressed at all with the fact of even though Bissell ‘claims’ the Crosswave ‘cleans’ itself, you still have to clean the ‘dirty water’ chamber. And it therefore is disgusting. Especially if u have dogs, cats, kids, or a husband that doesn’t do much housework because of working super long hours. I definitely needed something that I wasn’t having to clean inside out after a long day of cleaning my home. Well THIS IS IT!!!! U literally have zero cleanup after use. U literally snap the pad on the vac/mop, vacuum/mop your floors, push the button to release the pad into the trash and recharge. Best vac/mop EVER. Only issue is I wish it could go over carpet like the Bissell, but not a huge issue for me to not have purchased it. Also, I purchase the pads on Amazon for $23.50 for 30 vs Walmart which are 10 for $9.98 go figure lol

Skeptical but impressed.

I didn’t have high hopes for such a cheap vac but I was wrong. It’s perfect for light cleaning. This is NOT for deep cleans and super dirty floors. It’s like a dust buster with a handle and wet rag or Swiffer. Perfect for small messes. The suction exceeded my expectations. It gets crumbs and dog hair 100% of the time off of my tile and vinyl plank flooring. It also charges quickly. So if you’re looking for a touch up clean without getting the big vacuum or broom and mop out, this is for you. If you want to clean heavy dirt or really large areas with a vac-mop go with the Bissell Crosswave.
