People say Dickies is really similar to Cherokee.

Finally the perfect scrub pants! size and functional accessories pockets.

Wow. Finally got the scrubs that I needed! Seriously! First off, I am just a hair under six feet. I weigh 200 pounds. I decided to go with large, (for comfort, the scrubs come with a tie/stretch waist. But, right out of the box, they fit like they were made for me! It's usually a crap shoot with this kind of sizing. But, I lucked up here. But not only do they fit/feel great it was the quality AND all the accessories pockets too that made me give out the five stars.. The scrubs feel thick and durable, but not too hot. It has a deep velcro opening wallet pocket on the back of the right side. It has a three compartment instrument pocket on both thighs! Cell phone, pen, scissors. Just right. That's three different sections in one pocket so all your stuff stays vertical and secure..The logo looks nice, and here's the biggie: It has belt loops! I tried the Cherokee bottoms, not enough pockets, nor where they in the right place, and no belt loops. I tried Wink, but they too did not have all the features I needed. But EVERYTHING is on these Dickies. And the Wink was so thick they were stifling. Anyway, I am very happy. I wear 36 (or 38) waist, x32 length... I got large and they fit just right. So, I would say that whichever size you order, just go by your comfortable pants or sweats in size. They should work.

Worth the Price

This is the second pair of dickies scrubs I've purchased. The first was 6 years ago. I finally bought a second pair when the zipper gave out. I have other scrub pants. Most have been little better than pajama pants. The other pair that I had for awhile was a pair of Cherokee pants. My problem with those was that they were not true to size, and the pockets started to fray and I had to stitch them back on. This happened to each side twice. When I blew out the crotch trying to help move a patient that was the last thing I was willing to tolerate. In 6 years the only problem I had with the dickies scrubs was the button falling off in the wash. But since it has belt loops (so awesome) that's not a problem. If you are in the healthcare field and you actually use your pockets, dickies are worth the price. They last. They'll fade a bit but they are worth the price.

If you love pants; buy these!

Comfortable, durable, and long lasting. I purchased all black and the color has remained until the end with very little to no fading. Cherokee may be cheaper but they'll fade quick and not nearly as duable or comfortable.

Look and Feel Like Real Pants

These are fantastic! I walk a lot for work and didn't want to do is jeans or khakis and this was a good compromise. Light in weight, but they look like real pants. When I bought these, I also purchased a pair of Cherokee Scrubs, found here:  Cherokee Workwear Scrubs Unisex Stretch Cargo Pant, Pewter, XX-Large  The Cherokees fit weird in the waist and would slide down. They only tied and I felt like they looked more like scrubs. I love these Dickies scrubs. They feel snug in the waist and fit like real pants. I've only purchased them in Pewter, but I like the color and so far after dozens of wears they are still holding up. These fit well in the thighs, the Cherokees are a bit thinner in that area and these button and tie. Am very pleased with them.

Utility "scrub" cargo pants

Me: 66 y/o M,190 pound 5 ft 10 in: I wear a 44L suit coat with 38 waist and 32 inseam pants. I ordered medium size and after hemming them shorter about 3/4 inch, they fit like my suit pants. First ordered the Amazon #1 selling "Cherokee" scrub pants, which also have seven pockets, a zipper and a regular fabric drawstring. I returned those because the 35% cotton fabric blend felt very stiff and uncomfortable. These "Dickies" medium scrub paints are a 55% cotton, 45% polyester blend and are soft and should last minimally 5 years, as the other "Dickies" scrub pants I've worn to work for the last decade. These have four deep regular size pockets and two small pockets and an additional rear pocket with a Velcro closure, which is needed as this one rear pocket lacks depth which totals seven pockets. They also have a plastic utility ring that is lacking on the competitors. They have an elastic waist with braided drawstring and a zipper. This elastic allows expansion and the braided drawstring provides comfort and buying medium eliminates the "balloon leg' look. The pewter color, a medium-dark grey, minimizes the scrub pant appearance and except for their visible brand logo they look like regular cargo pants. Since I no longer work, they are worn only as casual pants. I give them four stars rather than five, as they are rather costly. Hope this helps with your selection.f. Also purchased same scrubs in "grey". With a hem thread removing tool & caution, it was possible to remove the "D... Read More
