Reviews for Dickies Women's Signature Elastic Waist Scrubs Pant

People say Dickies is really similar to Cherokee.

Quality pants

Fit well, nice fabric. However I returned them because I prefer the pocket setup on the Cherokee Scrubs

Cotton rich

These fit well and feel good to me. The Cherokee workwear scrub pants were stiff and I could almost see through them, which surprised me as someone at work wears that brand, and they look great. I also like the side pocket in addition to the cargo pocket that was the only pocket on the other brand.

These fit nicely and are made with quality details

I usually order Cherokee scrubs but needed some variety in my sets since our company now has specific colors we have to wear. These fit nicely and are made with quality details. I think I like them better than my old standby brand! Also early delivery was nice!

High Quality

These are very nice, high quality scrubs, however they run slightly smaller than the Cherokee scrubs I usually wear.

great for small waist and big hips!

I'm about 5'3" 115lbs and work out a lot so I have wider hips/butt/thighs that can make it hard to find scrubs that fit. Most of the XS/S scrub pants end up not being large enough for my butt and I can't sit down because they'll show my underwear in the back, or they'll be too big at the waist and fall. These are great because of the thick elastic waistband and stay up. There's also lots of pockets to clip my badge / hold pens etc as well. There's also enough room in the back so I'm not in danger of ripping them if I need to bend down. I got the normal XS and its just the right length as I like my scrub pants a little longer to cover my ankles, but I think the petite length would fit well too. The material is also great as it's a little thicker and has some more substance compared to cherokee & gray's anatomy scrubs. I also got the matching top and it's really flattering too, though it is a little tight around my shoulders (I have a 30-32" bust but wider shoulders from lifting as well). I've gotten a lot of compliments on these! Definitely will buy more soon.

fits very well, very comfy, well made, good value

These are my favorite scrub pants. I'm petite (5'0", 120 lbs, athletic but still hourglass shaped) and found the XS-petite to fit perfectly. Often I find that even pants that are marked as "petite" are still too long for me! But these are the perfect length and fit for me. They are very comfortable. I love the pockets. My pens never fall out of them because there's a little band that goes across the pockets on the inside to allow stuff like pens and scissors to stay put if you are kneeling or pulling your pants down in the bathroom. I like my cherokee scrubs too, but I strongly prefer these. The stitching seems stronger, and the pockets are way better (pockets on pockets on pockets!). The fabric is very soft and comfortable, and sort of thick which is nice because my hospital is freezing! I like that the waistband doesn't have exposed elastic on the inner side (the cherokees do, which I don't like--I hate the feeling of elastic waistband on skin) but it is covered with the fabric instead. I also find these are more flattering. These fit me very well and I will continue to buy these pants as needed! They are very reasonably priced and I think you get a lot for your money with these. They're well made, fit true to size, and are comfortable.

These are great and comfy

I love not having to tie my scrubs and retying them constantly throughout the day. That being said, these are probably my favorite pair of scrubs so far, I'm glad that I purchased 2 pairs! I always bought the Cherokee brand and noticed that they're more of a thinner material that's a lot more stiff. These scrubs are definitely softer. When I put them on after I received them, I liked how soft they felt, almost like pj's. They feel durable too. I'm 5'6 and these are just the right length for me, they don't make me feel like I'm flooding/ankle flirting, and they don't make me feel like I'm drowning trying to wear a my father's pants. They're just right and the elastic is snug enough that I won't have to worry about my butt crack showing if I pick something up from the floor. Great purchase!

Very comfortable

To me personally scrubs aren’t comfortable , I usually buy cherokee and the drawstring ones always roll down or make me look fat when i sit . These have the stretchy waist that for girls like me can sit comfortably and hide the belly part if need be and still look flattering !

Usually Love these Scrubs BUT .....

I have worn these scrubs a third of my life as a part-time nurse and have loved them dearly: the side pockets, the "thigh" pocket, the length, the fit of the waist - well, for me, these surpassed my Cherokees long ago. All of my current Dickies scrubs are size medium and fit perfectly, but these new ones are w-a-y too small. I barely got them over my tush and the thighs are snug, snug, snug - I'd NEVER be able to squat or bend over without difficulty (or ripping the pants). And after I'd washed them the first time in warm wash/cold rinse & medium heat (thinking that "new" stiffness would be gone and they'd fit better), there was no way I'd be able to keep them. So I guess I'm moving to a "L" and hoping for the best. Sigh.

cargo scrub pants

Several years back, I bought some Dickies cargo scrub pants and was truly impressed. So when I wanted a new pair, I bought them again. These pants have the Dickies name, however they are using a different material that wrinkles easily. Oh well. And there is a ribbon with the Dickies name and logo stitched along the back of the elastic that keeps the elastic from contracting as tightly. Not sure what they were thinking. I will probably return to Cherokee brand.
