Reviews for Maybelline Full 'N Soft Washable Mascara, Very Black, 1 Tube
People say Maybelline New York is really similar to Clinique.
Best mascara on the market
This mascara is amazing. I've been using this product for 10+ years and I will never use anything else. I've tried premium brands such as Clinique, Too Faced, and Urban Decay mascaras and I always come back to this one. It does a great job at making my lashes look fuller and longer, without making them look clumpy. It truly is water proof and you will need to use a remover to get it off. I can't tell you how much I love this mascara.
Best mascara out there.
I have tried Mac, Lancome, Clinique, Bobbi Brown and Estee Lauder and not a single higher-end brand compares. This stays in place, is truly black, doesn't smear or run (not even when you are doing the ugly cry) and comes off easily with simple coconut oil. Tried and truth, this is the best mascara out there!
Best mascara out there!
This is truly the best mascara there is! I have spent a ton of money on tubes of mascara such as Clinique, Limelife, etc. and always come back to this one. I love the brush. It goes on smoothly and evenly with no clumps, and keeps my individual lashes separate during application. My lashes don't fee heavy or clumpy and true to the name - are still soft. Lasts all day. Removal is simple with my daily facial cleanser and water.
This is still my favorite. It lengthens lashes
I’ve tried so many expensive brands of mascara, from Clinique to Estée Lauder to Younique. Too many to count. This is still my favorite. It lengthens lashes, but they are also perfectly separated. No clumps, I repeat no clumps! People always comment about my naturally long lashes. They aren’t. It’s the mascara.
This is the only mascara that I use. My lashes DO feel soft and not stiff when I use it, and it provides the "support" that I am looking for. My lashes are decently long but very very very straight. They are not curly at all...so I use an eyelash curler and then apply this. Voila, my lashes hold the curl! No other mascara that I have tried can do the trick (Lancome, Clinique, Bare Minerals, and so many others that I have tried) It is like a "hairspray" for my lashes, getting them to look full and long and hold the curl that they don't naturally have.
Best Mascara I can find
I have tried all kinds of mascaras from pricey ones through Clinique, DHC, and Estee Lauder to really cheap ones, but I keep coming back to the Full N Soft Mascara from Maybelline. It goes on with few clumps even when new and makes eyelashes stand out but not in a garish way. I have trouble finding this line in most stores like CVS, Walgreens and Wal-Mart as I think it sells out quickly. Was thrilled to see I could purchase by a subscription service every 2 months via Amazon. Way to go Amazon! I just hope Maybelline doesn't decide to do away with this one!
Dupe for Clinique high impact mascara
The brush extended my eyelashes and never clumped them. I love how easy it is to rinse off.
Great, but not the best
This mascara is my current go to. The brush allows me to get my small Asian lashes coated, and I find that it's even better on my lower lashes. Sometimes in a rush, I get it on my upper eyelid, and I'll have to clean it up. Perhaps it's the brush that makes all the difference, but I have found the formula to be wonderful. If I could, I would give this a 4.5 star rating because it isn't the best mascara, but it isn't bad. I hate dry-feeling formulas, like the Maybelline Falsies line. This goes on a bit wet and dries quickly. It states that it is waterproof, and it is pretty waterproof. So even though this is a light mascara, it does take some time to get off. The Clinique eye makeup remover I use has oil, and I find that it's much easier to take off my waterproof makeup with this, than say the neutrogena wipes. Another personal preference of mine, is that I don't like the feeling of my eyelashes being weighted down throughout the day, and this formula doesn't do that. I can rub my eyes carefully if I wanted to and if I had to touch my eyelashes for some reason, they feel like real hair -- somewhat soft. I don't know any other mascaras that are both waterproof and lightweight enough to continue to make your eyelashes soft, but if you do, let me know! (Also the mascara shipped quickly and was not damaged when it first arrived).
Of all of the mascaras that I've spent too much money on (looking at you, Clinique), I've never found a mascara better than this one. I have far too many almost-new mascaras in my makeup box because of all the sales, samples, and full price tubes that I've collected, none come close to Full and Soft waterproof.
