Reviews for Double Extend Lash Extension Effect Mascara

People say Loreal Paris is really similar to Clinique.

Long lashes without the clumpy, heavy, messy feel!

This product is by far the best mascara I have personally ever used. I was looking for something to lengthen my lashes without clumping, smearing, or “melting” after long wear. This mascara is better than the Clinique mascara (which was triple the cost) I have used for years. This does not go on clumpy and it looks very natural and light. It gives a beautiful lengthened lash look. I’ve worn to the gym with no issue of smearing or running. No raccoon eyes! It washes off easy and is now my go to for long affordable lashes!

Great product!

I switched to tubing mascaras about a year ago because I like that they don’t leave raccoon residue when you take them off. I used to use the Clinique lash power one which is 2-3x the price of this one. I actually like this one just as much, and I find it a bit less clumpy! This one is easier on the wallet too, and I can conveniently get it on amazon or at a drug store. Clinique is harder to get (but also a good product too). I have sensitive eyes and this doesn’t bother me at all. Great product. Makes me lashes loook FABULASH!

Comparable to Clinique's mascara with "warm water removal"

I have used Clinique's High Impact mascara for years and years, primarily for the easy "warm water removal". Unfortunately, I discovered that there's no easy and inexpensive way to order my favorite mascara online, and now with two littles, a trip to the mall isn't as quick, easy, or fun as it used to be. SO, I have to say that I am THRILLED that this mascara removes just as easily as my favored Clinique does, yet ships to my door free and costs less. It even seems like it applies easier. I am sure that the Clinique mascara is healthier and likely has less chemicals etc, but at this moment in life…ease and convenience far outweigh my concern for what's in my mascara :) Highly recommend!

Natural look, no clumps

Out of all the brand name mascaras (Too Faced, Malley, Clinique) this is my go to pick for daily wear. It does not clump and looks natural. I like that I can control the thickness by the number of coats. Works best to let the white base dry for a bit. And it’s true: take off is easy with warm water. Highly recommended.

Best tubing mascara available

Over the past several years, I’ve tried almost every to be mascara on the market. this is the best. I’ve tried Clinique lash power, Estee Lauder double wear, thrive cosmetics, mirenesse, no7 stay perfect, Kevyn aucoin, nyx doll eye, even the L’Oréal voluminous million lashes... NONE compare to L’Oréal double extend. Others still smudge, flake, or clump. This one stays put, lengthens, doesn’t clump, and washes off with warm water and without any black smudges. It. Is. The. Best. Use the primer first (no need to wait for the it to dry) and immediately follow up with the mascara. You won’t be disappointed.

Most practical every-day mascara ever!!!

I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't make my lashes look any longer or fuller than other typical mascaras BUT I do have to say, as a busy lady, I absolutely LOVE that it doesn't run or flake. It's super easy to remove, won't leave you with raccoon eyes, even after a good night's sleep! I found I need no make up remover, just was your face and go! I'll definitely keep buying it because of it's low-maintenence functionality. As a side note,, My Milani, Clinique and SmashBox mascaras are better at lengthening and adding volume but are a pain because it's a process to remove them, this mascara is awesome for every day use.

Love this one so much! Soooo easy to remove!

I am not a frequent mascara user because I have very sensitive skins around my eye area. I hate the processing of moving mascara which irritates my face everytime. I have tried different brands from Mabelline, Clinique, Lancome, to Dior. Unfortunately, most of them either smudges or hard to remove. I did some research before purchasing this one, and it is awesome as people said online! All you need to remove it is just some warm water. I usually just do that while taking shower - takes less then a minute without pain. I have asian lashes... the only thing I wish that this mascara could improve is to hold curls a little better. However, my workaround is simple lightly curl them again after they are completely dry. I can live with that.....and so glad I finally found the right one. :)

Can irritate sensitive eyes

This is a good product for the price if you like tube mascaras. I typically buy Clinique, but the price difference was too good to ignore so I purchased this. Overall, I like it but I won't be buying it again. It's annoying to put on a white coat and then a black coat and the lengthening wasn't great. Also, I noticed that if I rubbed my eyes at all during the day, this would sting very badly, and I actually found myself accidentally rubbing my eyes more when I wore it, so I think it was irritating my eyes just from being on. I've never noticed the need to rub my eyes when I wear Clinique. If you don't want to spend $18 on a mascara, buy this, but if you want to love your mascara and not think about it at all through the day, spend the $18 on Clinique.

Stays on

I struggle with mascara. I have a pretty flat eye shape (East Asian descent) and oily lids, so the search for mascara has been a long and difficult one. My lashes are long but stick-straight and droopy, so an ideal mascara will give me thickness and volume and most importantly, will not smudge. I've tried most of the Covergirl line, most of the Maybelline ones, Clinique, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Benefit, Too Faced, Dior, etc. (usually sticking to the waterproof versions) and no matter how well they thickened and volumized, they would inevitably transfer to my lower lash line within several hours. No matter how inactive I was (watching TV, not blinking, not breathing, etc.), THEY. SMUDGED. Enter this fiber mascara. Use the white end to prime your lashes and build some volume. Work quickly though because it dries down super fast. The red end is for building the color. This step tends to weigh down the lashes, and in contrast to the primer side, will dry super slowly (this is where I'm prone to smearing). Once dried, the mascara stays put until washed off with warm water. Pros: -NO SMUDGING! -Washes off easily -Cheap -Lengthens -Thickens (with several careful coats) Cons: -Much like my weak arms, cannot hold a damn curl -Not particularly great at thickening and volumizing -Takes forever to dry While not the most visually impressive mascara I've tried, it is my go-to for ensuring a makeup meltdown-proof day. That alone makes this my favorite mascara right now.

Never fails me

I love this mascara. It gives me a great look, the same look that a few expensive brands (looking at you clinique) couldn't keep up with. I love how easy it is to remove also. I just get my eyelashes wet in the shower and then when I wash my face at the end it just falls right off of my lashes without running or smudging.

I love tubing mascara!

I usually buy Cliniques high impact curling mascara but I needed some and I couldn't go to the mall. So I purchased this and I like it a lot. I don't really use the white primer side but the mascara itself is really good. I just don't like how short the brush wand is.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS

Love this stuff but it does get a little clumpy after about 2 weeks which I don't like. It can be spendy but I wait until Ulta has on sale and stock up. I have very thin and sparse eyelashes and this gives the impression that I actually have eyelashes. The tubes wash off pretty easily with face wash. If you fall asleep with it on, it won't get all over but your eyes may be irritated a bit for a short time. But I highly recommend this product. I wear Clinique on everything else makeup wish BUT this.. if that is any indication.
