Great design, far more compact than comparable items
Very smart, very simple design. They telescope out and compact down just like an old TV antenna, so it's very small and very light - great take along if going in a pack. Also, the little wheel at the top of the handle, the red thing just above the wood, allows you to turn the item without even moving your hand. Just twist with your thumb and the metal rotates. Very slick, and in my opinion, better than the alternatives from Coleman, etc. They are all way too bulky even when at their smallest.
