People say Naviskin is really similar to Columbia.

Good shirt for the price

I own a couple of these protective shirts including a Columbia shirt that I think is the best. This Naviskin shirt is almost as good, but it cost roughly half the price of the Columbia. Definitely worth it.

Great Price and Great Shirt Too!

I really like this shirt. It runs Large so maybe consider buying one size down, I did. One size smaller fits great but if you wish to use it as a cover shirt or like them loose buy your normal size. I have always bought Columbia in the past but that is now history.

lightweight and protective

I had this shirt from Columbia before and it works very well on outings. It's especially helpful to someone who has skin problems from being out in the sun too much when he was a kid. Great for kayaking. Really great for just walking or hiking. Great price.

Fit as expected. As well made assimilar Baleaf and Columbia shirst I bought

This shirt actually fit better than the Baleaf shirt which had a way too large neck. You don't have to buy the more expensive brands to get a good quality shirt that fits correctly according to size. All these shirts were a bit large in the body. Presumably to be airy and cool int he hot weather they are meant for. All three had two nicely sized pockets, and sleeves that secure when rolled up. A size large GAP shirt fits me perfectly: shoulders, sleeves, torso. All of these company's shirts overhung my shoulders, and were baggy through the torso, but sleeves were correct length (given the overhung shoulders). They are not tailored shirts for the fit and trim. They do fit my need for comfort and sun protection in hot sunny climates.

Nicely made shirt for this price

The shirt appears to be well-made, sewing and finishing is clean - some lower priced clothing need a good bit of cleanup and mending but, this shirt is pretty good. The fit is as expected and the shirt is cool but good cover from intense sunlight. I’m thinking about buying another - I can get two of these for the price of one equivalent big name brand like Columbia or Bean.

Worth every penny!

I spend a lot of time in the tropics, Yucatan, Costa Rica, Africa. Spent a lot of money on Columbia, Buzz-Off, Under Armour, and Simms. I find this comfortable, light weight, cool, easy to wash and dry, and color fast. The only issue for me, is the buttoning the long sleeve to short sleeve button fasteners. I like the Under Armour system better. But the price point makes all the difference. Worth every penny.

Good shirt for sun protection but not quite a Columbia or Cabella’s quality shirt.

Fits as expected. Material doesn’t retain stains like some inexpensive wicking outdoor shirts. Odor doesn’t seem to get trapped in the synthetic fibers for some reason. Slightly cheaper and slightly lower quality than Columbia or Cabella’s brand fishing shirts.

Beautiful color and quality

This is as good as more expensive Columbia version. The colors are just as tropical and the quality is awesome for the money. Great value.

Quality shirt at good value, may need to size down

I'm 5-10, 170 lbs, 40" chest & generally opt for slim fit shirt cut. Based on my experience with Naviskin’s short-sleeve version of this shirt, ordered size S & it fit to my liking. The sleeves are tad short on my 33-34” arms, but I’d prefer the cuff stop a half inch down my wrist so my hands are free. Rest of shirt fits well & isn’t baggy under the arms or around the shirt tail like I’ve experienced with other brands. Quality, light-weight material - though not as soft as Columbia’s version, consistent stitching, collar has option to button down or leave open, subtle logo on front chest doesn't stand out, polishing cloth inside front shirt tail is nice touch. Overall great value with form & function.

Pretty good shirt so far

The shirt fits well and does not seem to retain moisture or odor as quickly as the comparable shirt by Columbia. The collar may be buttoned down, but on one the shirts I ordered the button popped off when I tried to use it. So, I am not sure what to expect in terms of durability, but this could be an isolated flaw. I’ll update this review if further flaws emerge after it’s been washed a few times.
