Reviews for Arctix womens Insulated Snow Pants
People say Arctix is really similar to Columbia.
So, I have never snowboarded in anything but Columbia. I really wanted a cute pattern and time was running out to get some new pants to try out! I ordered these and OMG I love them. Sizing- I read a lot of reviews about ordering a size up, so I’m usually a M in everything and I ordered a L and I had to return them and get a M. There’s plenty of space in the M still so I would just order the size you think you are! I was worried that these might not be warm, HOLY MOLY every time I took these off I was sweating! With only on layer under! I never felt cold! Super happy with these!
Excellent quality and fit!
Wow these pants are HEAVY compared to a pair of Columbia waterproof pants I purchased at the same time. They both fit, but this one has a zipper and belt loop waist that did not fit as well as the elastic on the other. The waist was too wide, but then I discovered that the waist on these can be adjusted with straps on the pants! I adjusted them for a perfect fit. I planned to wear them over pants, but instead I wore them over my thermal leggings. These pants kept me warm all day so I used them both days and never used the other pair. I'm keeping those too though, as they will be good in wet weather. I have to comment that every aspect of the design and construction of these pants is HIGH quality. I'm very pleased to have chosen this brand and seller, and I'm grateful to the other reviewers whose comments helped me make a good choice!
Great quality and price
For the price of these pants, the quality is unbelievable and much better than I was expecting. I bought these for a trip to Iceland and they did the trick and kept me warm and dry just as well as a simailar pair of $100 Columbia snow pants that I own. The sizing was confusing and from other reviews it seemed the pants ran a bit large. Since I typically wear a S/M, I went with a small and I could not get them buttoned. It was very easy to exchange them for a different size and I had a new pair in two days. I ended up with a medium that fit much better. They were a bit long, but I’m 5,1 and that is a common problem for me. I’d highly recommend these pants.
Great option to replace more expensive brands
It’s been a long time since I’ve been skiing/snowboarding, so of course I needed new gear! Since I don’t live somewhere that gets snow, I was hesitant to dish out the money for brands I knew and trusted (Burton, Spyder, Columbia, etc). I took a shot on these pants and was very impressed. I ordered my normal size- despite other reviewed advising to size up- and was super glad I did. I was able to wear a thick base layer under them comfortably! There are adjustable Velcro straps in the waist to tighten/loosen. These are great if you have a smaller waist and larger 🍑 like myself. Definitely would order again!
Highly recommend! Comparable to expensive brands
Grew up in cold Vermont and always had expensive snow pants for outside activities and skiing. Bought these for a last minute ski trip to North Carolina, and they were great! Comparable to my Columbia pants. I had leggings and joggers underneath, but didn’t need both layers because they kept me super warm. They’re also slim fitting and very flattering for snow pants! Love the higher waist to tuck shirts in. Saw so many other girls on the slopes with the same pants. Highly recommend!!
Great pants, great value!
My 14-year old daughter is very pleased that she could have her white ski pants (against my better judgement...I mean really, white?!) and I could enjoy the nice price. For what I paid they are decent quality...really no worse than my Columbias, which were $100. And when they get stained (already some blue paint from the ski lift rubbed off in spots) I'm not sick about the expensive pants getting soiled. Overall very happy with these pants, and she skied in them on a 0-degree day and was just fine with a few layers underneath. Fit is just right, too. Highly recommend!
Love these ski pants! They are nicer than my 100.00 Columbia pants! 100% recommended, shipped in 2 days super fast in time for my trip, plenty of room for undergarments. I’m 5’7”, 155 lbs and they fit exactly how I wanted them too. 31” inseam. Zippered pockets fleece like lining, zippers at the ankle. Use the size guide and measure yourself, it should be just right.
Great, affordable snow pants
I have several pairs of Columbia snow pants and these are great for the price. I do not find them as flattering or warm but they are close. I will buy more.
Good ski pants
Just as nice as my Columbia ones I paid over $$$ for
Better quality than Columbia
Very comfortable. They were better quality than my previous Columbia pair that were way more expensive. Loved these so much that I even got the male one for my husband.
