Reviews for Amazon Essentials Men's Classic-Fit Wrinkle-Resistant Flat-Front Chino Pant

People say Amazon Essentials is really similar to Dockers.

Great value in business casual pants

For $20, the Amazon Essentials Men's Classic-Fit pants are a real bargain! I have been disappointed to note that Dockers is getting away from cotton chinos, instead using a stretchy fabric that I don't care for. The Amazon Essentials chinos are similar in style, weight, and color choices as the older Dockers chinos, not to mention at a much lower price! Pros: Come out of the dryer with few wrinkles, fit seems true to size, and they are comfortable. Oh, did I mention the price? Cons: Crease not as sharp as comparable Dockers (but hey - did I mention the price!) I will be buying more of these!

great value

Decided to give these a try, ordered two pairs, and good decision. Fit is as expected and nice to have the 35" waist option. I'm 6' 185 and the 35x32 fit perfect. Medium weight similar to Columbia or Dockers of a few years ago. Decent quality zipper. Have a barely noticeable permanent crease which is preferred. Only criticism is the front pockets are on the small side. We'll see how they hold up but appear to be decent quality. Good deal at $22 and I ordered another color . Update: The other color delivered today. Noticed the pockets are a little larger with this pair than the other two, This pair was made in Bangladesh. The other two Vietnam. Everything else consistent. Again, good deal.

Great pants and at a great price

This was my first order of the Amazon basics khakis pants. I wanted something similar to Dockers in a wrinkle resistant fabric. I love amazon's return policy which is why I was willing to give these a shot - free return if I did not care for them. To my amazement, they fit great (better than dockers of the same size) and aren't as baggy as the Dockers. A much better fit for my body type. I highly recommend them, and the price is much lower than the competition also.

Nice and comfy pants and for 20 bucks you can't beat em..

I only washed them once so far, warm water, med heat in the dryer. They didn't shrink at all that I can tell and they fit me well. Very soft and comfortable to wear. I've read a couple negative reviews here but I can tell you this pair are put together well. Seams and hems all look good etc. In fact I have them on right now and they are very comfy, much more than jeans... I wish the color selection in my size was better because I'm buying another pair or 2. $20 bucks you can't beat em. I wore Dockers for years at 35-40 bucks a pair. These are just as good in my opinion..

Feels like pure cotton

I bought these and also a pair of Dockers that was twice the cost, because the Dockers were 98% cotton. These are only 60% cotton, but feel more like cotton than the Dockers. They are very comfortable and best yet, wrinkle resistant. These were a great find

Good buy

The pants appears to be well made and the fit was spot on. I decided to buy two more pairs since the price is right. I would say the quality is on par with what you find at Old Navy or even Dockers. I haven't washed them yet so I can't comment on the wrinkle resistance, but I don't think you would be disappointed with your purchase.

Blown away

I was skeptical at first about purchasing the pants. I ordered one pair just to see for myself. These pants are fantastic, and I am a fan of dockers pants. That has changed for me, the price, fit, and quality. No complaints here so far.

Quality seems comparable to Dockers

The style and quality was what I was looking for as "business casual" attire. After receiving first pair, I was impressed enough that I ordered 3 additional pair in different colors.

Solid Pair Of Pants

Needed a pair of Navy pants for work/casual and these are true to form. Like the description noted -- if you like Dockers these are for you -- it's exactly the same feel and quality for a lower price.

Are you sure these aren't Dockers?!

My husband is quite pleased with these slacks. He usually wears Dockers so it was a stretch to get him to try these slacks. But now he is quite happy with them and they really look good on him too!
