People say Envirocare is really similar to Dyson.

Works really well

Works exactly like the original on our old Dyson (DC7, I believe?)! Installation was a snap and the vacuum works like new (we also replaced filters, which helps).

Works great!

Ordered this for my 16 year old Dyson. My kids had vacuumed something gross with old hose and was time to order a shiny brand new one. Also since it’s brand new it’s not all stretched out. Great price too.

Just like OEM

First off, its seems to start getting harder to find really good products for my 10 plus yr old Dyson. Ordered 2 others previously and well, it didnt last long (less than a yr) and fit and finish was ok. Now our vaccum gets used a lot, like evry other day, because of our dog, a GSD that sheds a lot This one is exactly what I've been looking for. Even the color is exact match. Fits perfectly and most importantly, snug and locks in tight. Dyson makes awesome products that just lasts and works so well that hopefully my 10 plus year old vaccum will continue to serve my family for another 10yrs and hope this attachment lasts as long too. Already thinking of getting an extra set in case Amazon stops carrying it. Overall, very satisfied so far!

Fits Fine. Like new!

My old hose was ragged and falling apart. It made the vacuum almost unusable since I couldn't get the handle to stow correctly. I figured the replacement part would be too expensive, but I found this one to be reasonably priced and it fits good. No issues at all. Glad I was able to give our Dyson more years of service!

I like this product

I have had my dyson all floors vacuum for just over 5 years. I like it okay. I wouldn't say the vacuum was worth the money that I paid. It doesn't suction when using the upright function with the roller bar as much as I'd like it to, so I often use the stair tool on the end of the hose and vacuum my rug that way. It takes longer and it is a lot of work, but it is the only way that I can get my rugs clean. That said, I use my hose a lot. I also have two sets of stairs in my 100+ year old house and my son vacuums the stairs. He leaves the vacuum at the bottom and works his way up. He stretches the hose to its limits. I have had the hose replaced under warranty 3 times. It usually starts with a sharp item that has been sucked up that puts a little hole in the hose and the stretching it does it in. Well, this last time the hose broke, my vacuum was no longer under warranty so I had to decide were to get my replacement hose. I didn't really want to spend $50 for a dyson one, knowing that it will only last so long. I read the other reviews on this hose and was skeptical that it would fit properly, but to save money, I went ahead and ordered it. To my delight, it fits perfectly. It slides on just right, it comes apart just right (although this hose has two release buttons that have to be pushed simultaneously instead of just one on the dyson model) and works perfectly on my dyson all floors vacuum. I am perfectly happy with it and will order again when this one is abused to death.

Perfect replacement hose for Dyson

Works as Advertised

Everything works and installed easily. Item not available from Dyson since mine is the first generation of the pet/animal uprights. So no longer supported by Dyson nor do they carry any parts or accessories for it. Dyson advised I buy a new vacuum! NOT! Some reviewers did appear to have issues. I'm not one of them. So go ahead and order keeping in mind other reported issues, test the replacement hose and return if you receive a hose with issues. Then order another. Maybe second time is a charm.

Good after-market replacement part! Need to be careful on first assembly!

I was a bit skeptical about an after-market replacement part for my two Dyson DC07's. But having had to replace the hose assemblies twice on both over the years, and having hocked a kidney to pay the OEM price for these parts that kept failing, I thought, what the hell, two hoses for less than the price of one OEM, even if these fail too, if I get even a few months out of them, it would be worth it. My biggest concern stemmed from some of the negative reviews--would they keep coming disconnected, and would suction be reduced due to poor fittings? So far, no problem on either concern...BUT, I think it is very important to follow the following tips: 1. Before you put the new replacement hose assembly onto the handle tube--the long tube that is supposed to fit into the hose--you should clean the out side of the tube and remove any build up, gunk, sticky stuff, etc. I used a light spay cleaner, Method cleaning spray. Then...VERY IMPORTANT...dry the tube VERY well...like NO moisture at all. Also use your finger, covered by a piece of terry cloth or somewhat textured fabric, and do your best to also clean all around the top of the tube where the top of the hose fitting goes up into the handle...DON'T spray cleaner up into the handle fitting...and again, make sure everything is dry. 2. After you have attached the bottom fitting of the new hose into the base of the vacuum--taking care and making sure to properly align the grooves on either side of the fitting into the corresponding... Replacement Fits and Gets the Job Done, if Not Quite as Efficiently as Original

My trusty old Dyson finally required repairs. With hardwoods throughout the house, I almost exclusively use the hose tools these days, and I rarely take the time to wrap it all up after using, because, with three young kids and two cats, there is always some mess to be vacuumed up! I guess propping the hose on the machine so often finally caused the hose to tear. This replacement arrived quickly, was cheap, fits my machine, and gets the job done. I do feel like the suction is not quite what it used to be. The replacement is definitely thinner, lighter material. It feels a bit flimsy, but I have used it plenty (read note above) and it seems like it will hold up just fine. Also, whether because of the lighter material or simply because it is new, it slides over the extension pole to wrap up and put away much more easily than the old hose. I am trying to make a point of putting it away more often now, so this helps to that end. Maybe one day my vacuum cleaner will not be a part of my home decor? A girl can dream.

Decent Replacement

First I'll just say this isn't a true Dyson hose and you can tell. But given Dyson wants you to buy a new vacuum rather than being eco friendly and replacing parts (seriously it makes me so mad - years ago I inherited my parents Electrolux which was a BEAST but even 20+ years later I could still get replacement parts). But I digress... This hose is TIGHT as others have mentioned and I had a lot of trouble attaching it to the vacuum as well as inserting the "wand" into it. However it has loosened up a bit with use. But much, much harder than before. If you are elderly or perhaps slightly in weak health this may be an issue for you. I had to give it quite a bit of strength (I'm 45) and exercise daily. Suction is good/strong. Minus 1 star for the fit.
