I’ve tried them all

Best hands down!! I’ve tried them all: Lange, Bondi Boost, T3, Amika, Hot Tools and the OG Revlon. I have not tried the Dyson just too expensive I have frizzy , dry, curly , highlighted and all over hair color for past 20 years. Hands down the best!! Revlon was great but too hot and damaged my hair…same with Hot Tools, Amika bristles melted on hot high speed…very disappointed it’s over $100 Lange and Bondi , not powerful enough and high heat really damaged my hair. T3 also over $100 had two attachments that kept popping off all the time..actually burnt my hand several times. It makes sense this is great since Drybar is such a popular hair dry salon! This has a comfortable grip and very very lightweight. I have carpal tunnel and this does not hurt it at all ..,

This replaced my Dyson

I returned my Dyson Airwrap and got this instead! It leaves my hair soft and frizzfree.

So far so good!

I purchased the Revlon version twice - and both times it broke in less than three months. Instead of buying a third Revlon brush dryer, I opted for the more expensive Dry Bar version and so far it is running smoothly. I have only had it for a month now - but so far so good. It is definitely lighter than the Revlon - and it keeps an even and consistent heat - whereas the Revlon never maintained temperature. It is slightly quieter - but not by much - than the Revlon. So far I'm happy with the purchase. Good barrel size - comparable to Revlon size. (BTW - the reason I didn't go with Dyson is because the barrel size on the Dyson is too small. I have medium to thick hair).

Perfect hair in a short amount of time!

I was almost got a Dyson set when I came across the great reviews of this product and I would say that I’m very happy with this blow dryer! I have long, very course hair and it always took me forever to dry my hair and style it. I owned the L’ange hairdryer brush and the Revlon equivalent but my hair wouldn’t come out shiny after using either one - the frizz would still be noticeable. With the Drybar blowdryer, my hair stays shiny and it keeps the style well even after a day or so. This product is definitely worth the money! My hair is perfectly styled in 25mins from start to finish with just towel dried hair!

LOVE IT!

Dries well, easy to hold and maneuver. I had bought the 400.00 Dyson hair dryer and wasn't happy with it, returned it after buying this- my absolute favorite hair tool. Don't need a straightener or curling iron after using this :)

Overall good product

I do love the ease of this dryer. I went with this one over a cheaper one after reading several reviews as I have thin damaged hair and this one was supposed to be less likely to overheat and "gentler". Overall very very satisfied after several uses. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for drying power instead of 5 is likely because I own a dyson hair dryer and it just doesn't compare to that, but it is incredible and I highly recommend. For reference my dyson dries my hair in about 15 minutes. This one takes about 30 minutes for the same process of out of shower to completely dry. The pro to this vs my dyson is this is way easier to "style" where as I usually curl or touch up my hair after using my dyson. I highly recommend. I have medium/long hair that is fairly thin and damaged but a lot of thin damaged hair. Very satisfied. Worth the extra money, I never feel like it overheats or is doing a lot of pulling or damage.

Best hair dryer ever!

It is not very often I buy something and it’s 100% better than I anticipated. My friend bought one first and when I saw her hair I ask if she got a dyson. When she told be it was the drybar I immediately ordered it. When my landlady saw my hair she bought one too. My daughter has a dyson and I loved it but no way will I pay that much for a hair dryer. Drybar dries just as nice maybe even better. If you are thinking about a new dryer you won’t regret buying this product. Makes it strait and very very shinny. I am not paid for my comment. I am truly a very happy customer.

Fast and does not damage your hair

I have fine hair but a lot of it. I purchased another (cheap) brush blow dryer last year and it fried my hair! I only used it once and it got so hot I couldn't even hold the end and ended up so disappointed and have spent all this time trying to undo the damage. This Dyson is fantastic. The end is cool and the brush is hot enough to dry, but not so hot it causes damage. My hair came out straight with less frizz then I normally get. Worth the money!

Wow! Pleasantly surprised!

I purchased this on a whim in lieu of splurging on the dyson. Wow. I am impressed. I let my hair air dry for a little bit after the shower and then used the Blow-Dryer Brush. My hair is SO MUCH less frizzy than when I use a traditional blow dryer and so silky soft. I feel like I got a salon blow out. It took just a minute to get the right technique with it and didn't take too long to finish my hair. I'm so happy with my purchase!

Better than Dyson AirWrap

After struggling for a full year to get my AirWrap to work for me, I sold it and replaced it with this! SO happy I did! This makes my hair so smooth and soft and holds up against NC heat and humidity - while my Dyson would have my hair succumbing to the humidity before I even left the house. Can't recommend this enough, it takes 15 minutes for me to style my thick curly hair with this from wet to shiny and bouncy!

Love this!

I love this so much. I was skeptical at first but I am glad I gave it a shot. I have Dyson air wrap and revlon blow/brush. The revlon burns my hair and the air wrap takes for ever and I have to go over my roots with a flat iron. This drybar one is awesome bcs it's a one shot and done. I'm so glad I got it, it's quick and makes my hair feel so soft with no frizz. It truly feels like a salon blow out in minutes.

Transformed my fine hair

I cashed in ALL my Ulta points to get this for free, couldn't justify the price tag when I already have a Dyson AirWrap. I love it so much. Dries my shoulder-length, fine hair quickly and adds body. easy to use and not too loud or heavy.

Love it! Long hair miracle!

In addicted to this brush dryer! I put down my Dyson dryer in favor of the ease of this tool. I'm a little worried about how long the bristles will last...I'm really hard on my brushes, so I try to be more careful with this. I love how I can get right into the roots! It's so important because my hair is curly. I don't have to go back with a straightener after using this brush. Gives me straight hair with volume - which is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not sure if the cheaper versions work just as well, but for now I'm loving this tool!

Easy to use and great for travel

Grabbed this to replace my travel blow dryer. It's super easy to use, much less coordination required than a traditional round brush and blow dryer. It's lightweight, I think about a pound. It wasn't ideal for my blunt bangs but would be great for side swept bangs. It was easy to blow dry my hair while adding volume and a soft wave. Highly recommend! I haven't been disappointed with any Drybar products yet. Buttercup is my back up blow dryer to my Dyson Airwrap. Excited to have the Double shot in my vanity!

Best Blow-Dryer Brush for Thick & Unruly Hair

I'm not one to cave into hype but this is seriously the best investment I've made for my haircare. What used to take me 20-30 mins to dry my super thick and unruly hair has been shaved down to less than 10. Plus my hair dries so silky and frizz-free. I pair it with Oribe Royal Blowout heat styling spray for extra luster plus the nice scent. I noticed that I am also able to go without washing my hair for even longer periods of time and yet still have beautiful and silky voluminous hair. If you're on the fence between this and the alternatives (cheaper - Revlon, pricier - Dyson), take the leap of faith and go with Drybar. You won't regret it!

Makes My Hair Shine!

Love this tool so much! My hair is so shiny and healthy looking after using it. I have the Dyson blow dryer and this beats it, hands down! I am over 40 with shoulder length, highlighted/bleached hair. The double shot barrel is big so it helps with volume but if you're looking for a tool that will curl, this is not it.

I love it!!! Better than my Dyson air wrap!

Has its uses.

I recently bought the Dry Bar Double Shot and I love it for me. I also own a Revlon and a Dyson Air Wrap. Yes, I have spent a lot of money on styling products, but I am truly not a high maintenance person. I have been looking for a nice style aid that gives me a basic blow out. For me the Dry Bar Double Shot is the best day to day product. I have mid length dark Asian hair that does take a bend. The Revlon is economical, but runs way to hot for my hair. Even on low, I felt like I was burning and damaging my hair. At that heat level it tended to make really curl my hair and leave it frizzy. The Dyson is a great product for styling hair for a special occasion. The hair dryer that comes with that unit is not very powerful and the barrel attachment is useless at grabbing my hair. The curling wands, however, are great, but who has time to curl hair every day? Enter the Dry Bar Double Shot. This is a unit that finally does what I need a product to do. It gives me a great, basic blow out without feeling like I'm frying my hair. It's barrel is slightly smaller than the Revlon (good for mid length hair), it's easier to grip than the Revlon and it has a much longer cord. If you have curly hair, I can see why you would need the Revlon (high heat to straighten hair). But for those of us with straight hair, the lower temperature makes the Dry Bar a better solution.

Best hair product I have ever bought!

This hair tool is amazing! I actually got the Dyson hair dryer and this for Christmas and have already sent the Dyson back! No need for another hair dryer! I have thick and curly hair. It used to take me 45 minutes to blow dry my hair with a round brush and blow dryer. Then I would have to spend another 10-15 minutes with a flat iron on it. Now in 20 minutes it looks like my hair does when my hair dresser blows out my hair! Well worth the price!
