Love it! GREAT for cat litter in corners and along baseboards!

Initially got it for the cat litter that the cat kicks out of box - it drives me crazy! This Shark Wandvac is a life saver! I did quite a bit of research before making the purchase because I already have the most awesome Dyson vacuum and I have another upright shark I recently purhased (which I also love, but it doesn't do the trick on the cat litter in the corners). I tried to talk myself out of needing to have yet another vacuum. I usually don't write reviews, if I do, I just rate the product. But, I had to express my honest satisfaction with this product. So, I got it yesterday and was so excited to use it. After picking up the cat litter with no effort whatsoever, if since been around the whole house doing the baseboards, underneath the cabinets in kitchen, it's even great for the cob webs and the trim over the doorway! So, there it is. Look no further! This is a great product. Thank you! P.S. I did not rat the battery life because I've only had it since yesterday.

This thing is great

I came to get that one brand that's super amazing, the ones who make those fans with no blades. You know them? I was like "I'm tired of these awful things, I'm gonna spend like a hundred dollars and get a Dyson. Then I looked at the Dyson and it was waaaaay more. So I went looking and found this. I don't know how long the battery lasts because I haven't used it that long, but I've gone around the edges of the kitchen and living room and sucked up all the little dust bunnies and crumbs I should have swept up last week, and it's just awesome. I got it because those cans of air weren't doing it for some electronics stuff I wanted to clean. But it's great for lots more than that. If I want to vacuum the car with it and the battery won't last, I'm happy to vacuum each side separately or whatever. I love this, and I'm really glad I got it. Oh, I remember wondering if the little cup is big enough. It turned out to be plenty for us. HOLD IT OVER THE TRASH CAN WHEN YOU OPEN IT THOUGH. Ask me how I know hahaha. Actually, it was my teenager, who said "What's this button do?"

Game changer for a house with toddlers

This vacuum changed how I felt about Shark products. I was a strictly Dyson vacuum person, but after two different people recommended this vacuum I gave it a try since it was on sale during Black Friday. Now, knowing how great it is, I would have paid full price. This is a game changer if you have toddlers in the house. I use it daily for all the crumbs and Cheerios the kids leave behind. This vacuum also has my kindergartener excited about vacuuming and cleaning up because it’s light and easy to use. A glass broke the other day, and clean up was easier because this vacuum picked up all those tiny pieces of glass! I also like to use it to vacuum all the minivan nooks and crannies especially in car seats! I have only good things to say about this vacuum. I highly recommend it and hope you give it a chance.

My favorite handheld vacuum ever

I’ve had many hand held vacuums, including all the dyson versions, but this Shark is hands down my absolute favorite. The size and attachments are perfect. They fit nicely into the stand and out of the way. The vacuum is substantial, but not heavy, and the battery life is great. I bought it to keep right by the Christmas tree and it was perfect for that...quick needle pick-up! Now my kids want to vacuum everything in sight with this lovely little vacuum!

This Really Sucks!

Great vac. Keep on living room floor close to master so its available to both rooms quickly. It was easy to put together, not much putting to it actually. Have emptied it, so easy, even “Deep Cleaned” it with no problem. It gets hair off my sofa better than my dyson! AND its So light weight. Well not cheap feeling lite. But well balanced type light! Im in a wheelchair and this lets me clean so much easier than a stick vacuum. Love it!

Mighty mini dust buster

I had read the reviews and was apprehensive purchasing the shark mini vac. Once I learned to use it without any attachments I was overjoyed with my purchase. I use it to vac up dead grass, dog hair, food crumbs, and occasionally I use it in my car to get into the hard to reach crevices; this mighty mini vac is awesome. Once I hear the pitch change I know it’s time to dump the collection bin, occasionally purge the filter, and it’s back to normal; sometimes with fine dust it’s quick, sometimes with corse hair/grass it doesn’t change pitch at all. I have the Dyson D11 cordless, a great vac, but I find myself grabbing this more for the noticeable and annoying little issues. It’s not a whole house vac, it’s specific to one purpose and excels at what it is meant to do. I’ve read the sound is too loud/high pitch; first maybe the filter is loaded and needs to be cleaned even though the bin isn’t full, second is that it is high pitch but not as loud overall as the dyson cordless and certainly not as loud as the animal upright or shark uprights i use. Bottom line- buy it, try it, return it if you don’t think it’s worth $130. I think it’s a great dust buster at a good price.

Perfect for my living room touchups.

Big advantage is that the small size and styling of this unit means that it is now tucked in a corner of my living room. I'm using it for touchups - mostly food crumbs in my case - and am relived of having to schlep out my heavy Miele canister unit for small jobs. Prior to this Shark I'd had a Dyson "trigger" style hand vacuum. It was much larger and I had to keep it in the kitchen. Both were comparable in performance. FWIW I haven't had it long enough to comment on the battery power. Same goes for my situation with hair.

Great little hand vac

This is a great hand vac. I had a Dyson handheld for years that I loved - this Shark handheld measures up in terms of suction and ease, and is lighter than the Dyson. The bin is smaller, but given this is used for quick small cleanups it is not an issue at all.

so what if it's only 10 min!

This (while loud) hand vac out performs my 3 year old Dirt Devil. Great cleaning power, and lithium ion instead of NiCad so i know it won't slowly 'forget' charge over time. and 10 min with a hand vac is longer than i want to use it; comes with a crevice extension and brush extension. I thought i was going to need the crevice extension for those hard-to-reach places, but the vacuum is so good, i didn't! Best home cleaning purchse i made so far! Next up, Dyson....

Best handheld vacuum!

Have have owned Dyson Animals for many years and was so tired of them constantly breaking. I would clean them and they would still stop charging. They are also bulky. The shark vacuum wand is freaking awesome! I use it everywhere including my car. I also love that its charging station has slots for the brush attachments that go with it. The Dyson did not. I highly recommend. Oh and we have two of them. One for each floor.

Going on 3 years, so solid!!

We LOVE this little hand held vacuum! It has a pretty great battery life for a little guy. We have two cats and use it a lot to get fur out of corners and from under furniture. We have a dyson that can be used as a handheld and I still reach for this guy more often! There is an attachment that helps get the fur off furniture, specifically black cat fur off cream dinning room chairs. Works amazingly!! DISCLAIMER: it doesn't work this well after so long just by magic. My husband services it about once a month by using his air compressor to blow the dust and build up out of the filter inside. This keeps the suction working as good as it did day 1. Would absolutely buy it again if it broke.
