I think it's a winner
I bought this primer because I was intrigued by the fact it's a hydrating matte primer. I went into this not knowing what to expect. The consistency is VERY liquidy and lotion like. Reminds me of the hourglass primer once it's on. It's runny but dries down and really makes the skin matte. I used this with my maybelline fit me liquid foundation which for me isn't a real deal heavy duty mattifying foundation but I did apply this primer, go in with the foundation and then I sprayed my face with the urban decay all nighter ultra matte. I was really hot and sweating and my makeup looked great. No pores pushing through and not super greasy, just a light shine and dew. I was expecting to look an oily mess and when I looked in the mirror it was NOT bad at all. This primer might do better on my extremely oily skin with a more matte foundation like the maybelline superstay, or nyx can't stop won't stop. But It might be a runner up in my collection with how well it kept my makeup looking.
