Go Red Cap! Go Red Cap!
I've never used the "Black" cap foundation before so I cannot speak on it, however, the "Red Cap" formula is the BOMB!! I've searched high and low for a perfect matte foundation that doesn't require a small loan just to purchase it. I've tried everything from MAC to Maybelleine and this "Red Cap" Pro Matte formula is by far the absolute BEST foundation I've EVER used in my ENTIRE 54 years on this earth.

best for oily skin
best foundation ive ever bought im basically crying. its the perfect shade and it blends sooo well to my skin. my forehead is typically really oily and with this holy meatballs its so matte. the thing is tho u gotta use a wet beauty blender like not too dry but thats it im so happy with my purchase. ALSO IT COVERS EVERYTHING LIKE EVEN MY UPPER LIP COLOR AND RED PIMPLES

Full coverage, easy to blend, blends well with either brush or beauty sponge, pairs well with almost any product to me. Any time I change my foundation from this to something else I can definitely tell. I have a lot of acne and suffer from rosacea so I needed to find a foundation that covered all of it. Also needed a foundation that wasn't dewy but wasn't too dry since I have combination skin, this is my holy grail. A must have!

Hottest day of NY & I wore this for a bridal shower. Applied at 8am by 3pm when I left my face was still perfect. Literally had crazy rough s*x with my man & DIDNT break that bad- only needed some light touch ups. Went to dinner & hung out with my family all night AND IT STILL LOOKED AMAZING. If you're oily// combination like I am this will be your best friend if you need to be on point

Best long lasting full cover for oily skin n big pores
I have extremely oily skin but dry patches also I tend to break Out from most foundations and by the end of the day or night I'm a shiny grease ball also no Foundation covers my pores like this one !!! Love this foundation I tired everything from Estée Lauder to IL Makiage (horrible) to Mac which ruined my skin to every foundation under the sun this is the best !!!!! Make sure u use a oil controller or a good primer

My New Foundation
I was out of my fav. BB Cream and the store didn't have my brand and then shade. I went to see what L'Oreal had and I found this Pro-Matte foundation. I know it is now a BB cream and oh well, I decided to try a regular foundation. First of all, the color I chose ( 103) matches exactly my skin, it light and it does not set on my wrinkles (under eyes). The Infalliblae Pro-Matte Foundation will be my winter foundation and bye bye to the old one.

Amazing!
I had forgotten how amazing this foundation is! I used to use this about 4 years ago and went back due to the fact that I needed a darker shade for the summer and didn't wanna splurge on a high end foundation. Wow it goes on flawlessly with my beauty sponge and sets amazing on the skin. The color is a perfect match on me as well. It looks better than a few high end foundations that I have. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for full coverage but not wanting to spend a lot of $$ on a high end foundation.

Beautiful!
This foundation has a gorgeous, matte, skin-like finish. I have very oily skin and somehow, this stuff keeps my makeup on longer than the este launder double wear! I would recommend applying it with a beauty blender + primer underneath because it drys very fast and won't move once it's applied. I was absolutely shocked at how long wearing this is looking at my skin at the end of the day. I would not recommend this for people with dry skin but if you have dry skin, you may be able to use this with a very hydrating primer, moisturizer, or oil underneath.

Thank you Jesus, for the perfect foundation
I stumbled upon this after a beauty blogger rated it as her all time favorite drug store foundation. I decided to give it a chance, and I am so thankful that I did. I'm 48, have some redness, hyperpigmentation, and skill that resembles an oil spill. I used Neutrogena gel cream moisturizer first, applied the foundation, and it went on perfectly. I decided to purchase the L'Oréal setting spray, which I also applied at 10:00 this morning. It is now midnight, and for the first time in my life, the tip of my nose still has all of the makeup on it, that I applied this morning. None of it has worn off, cracked or caked, not even in my smile lines. I have not blotted my face at all, not one single time. I am STUNNED! I have no idea what kind of magic went into this foundation, but I beg of you, to never stop making it. I have tried high end foundations that wore off, or slid off of my nose within a few hours. There aren't enough words of gratitude to express how amazing this foundation for me. Thank you for creating an exceptional product, at an extremely reasonable price point.

AMAZING for uneven skin tone!
I love this foundation! I've been using it for at least 4 years now. I have bad acne, combination skin, and large pores but I always feel comfortable and confident in this foundation. The coverage is incredibly buildable and I even use it as a concealer when I don't want a full face of foundation. It can be a little patchy though especially if you are using concealer underneath. The smell isn't bad at all, and the consistency is smooth and goes on very nicely. I use foundation brushes, I've never used this with a sponge or Beauty Blender so I'm not sure how that would work, but probably fine. Would so recommend this one and also the higher coverage mousse version!

The best
I have sensitive combination skin and have tried almost every "high end" foundation. After watching a bunch of YouTube beauty gurus say they recommend this foundation I figured I could try it out. This is the first liquid foundation I've ever tried that doesn't crease and dry out my under eyes and settle into fine lines. It doesn't rub off where my glasses hit, or cause acne. It doesn't transfer onto my phone, and my freckles still show through. I put little dots around my face and rub it in with my finger after freshly using hand sanitizer. It melts into my skin. Very buildable. I just can't say enough good things!!! It's also not super matte or drying, a very natural finish. Only con is that the shade range isn't the greatest, but it's so cheap I just buy the light and medium in the neutral undertone and match to my skin!

Awesome and inexpensive!
I have really...like really oily skin and I saw a post by beauty blogger Nikkia Joy, where she reviews this product and I had to try it (watch if you need more convincing to buy). I've been using for about 2 months now and I seriously can't rave enough about this foundation. NO MORE OIL! I don't have to constantly reapply and it feels so light weight, almost like a powder when it dries. It isn't really full coverage but I like a more natural finish anyways. Highly, highly recommend this foundation.

So glad I came back to this foundation after a few years. I love blending this with the l'oreal pro glow foundation for the perfect matte/hydrating finish. It's the BEST drugstore foundation I've ever used, hands down. Blends so easily with my real techniques beauty sponge and lasts basically all day. So pretty.

I LOVE this product
For years, I used the L'Oréal pro-glow foundation, but I recently switched to this one after feeling ballsy. In all honesty, it takes a lot for me to switch products because I hate wasting money and being disappointed by not finding something better. However, that didn't happen here! I have never been able to find a foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly AND tames my oil! I have worn this foundation for hours and it holds up to the test! It also doesn't break out my skin - another plus. It's very easy to blend and turns matte almost instantly on the skin! The coverage was also better than I expected (better than the pro-glow version). My face looks so smooth while wearing this product. I recommend 10/10. Give it a try 😊

Perfect for dry skin
I lean on the dry side especially since I use a nightly retinoid. I have been using glossier skin tint and honestly this is a dupe but BETTER. It gives me the perfect coverage, concealing redness too. I apply with a damp beauty sponge. My skin is so dewy after the application. IM IN LOVE!!

Gorgeous Finish, Lasts All Day
This is my holy grail medium coverage foundation that I use for work days. It makes my skin look flawless and lasts all day when I use a good primer and set it with powder. I like how it doesn't look cakey at the end of my day after about 12 hours of wear even in my problem areas like around my nose. I have combination skin and get oily in my T-zone so foundations can break up around my nose by the end of the day. I only wish this was a full coverage foundation! Other than that I'm very happy with this foundation and will repurchase. Highly recommend!

Best Foundation Ever!
This is by far the best foundation I have found at Ulta! I have tried high and low end foundations, and everything ends up breaking apart around my nose and t-zone. This one stays in place, is full coverage, but does NOT feel cakey or heavy in the least. Other foundations, like UD All Nighter would stay in place, but sunk into my pores and felt so cakey and thick. Other foundations like Makeup Revolution, was much lighter feeling on my skin but never stayed in place for more than a few hours. I would 100% recommend this foundation for anyone with oily/combination skin that tend to have makeup slide off fairly easily or wear off over the course of the day.

Definitely a Holy Grail
I have hated foundation since I was little because I had to wear it super heavy for dance concerts. I usually stick to the NYX bb cream but thought I'd give a foundation a try after all this time. This is by far the BEST thing I have ever tried. Very lightweight and the shade (102 Shell Beige) was perfect for my fair/light skin! Will definitely be using consistently and this will be a 100% repurchase when needed! two thumbs up :)

What is this sorcery?
Okay, I am absolutely blown out of the water with this foundation. When it first came out a few years ago, I watched reviews on YouTube, but was never too impressed. Only women with flawless skin and ultra-filtered camera lenses were raving about it, while some others who actually had issues to cover (amazing people like Angie from Hot and Flashy) said it looked super heavy, caked on, and accentuated texture big time. Now, everyone's skin in different, but I had to write this review to let people know to please try it! It is one of the best foundations ever. Everything L'Oréal claims is what you can expect: natural medium coverage, flawless matte finish, and this STAYS PUT without drying. I have combo skin, and in my dry areas this never made me look like the Sahara Desert or anything. I think a lot of people make the mistake of not using the right skincare underneath and applying this with a brush, or that's just my opinion. With the right skincare, a nice beauty blender, and a good setting spray (Morphe's new one is amazing), I think you'll fall in love, I really do. And also, I'm into the dewy-skin look, yet I still swear by this. It's so easy to add glow to your skin, but hard to find products that stand the test of time and last. One more note, I heard some people say this broke them out, but I think that's likely due to them not removing it 100%. Good application and great color selection
I am VERY fair and often have a difficult time finding a color light enough but their lightest works! I have been wearing Estée Lauder Double Wear for about five years and it is wonderful for full coverage however I got tired of the full coverage look that visibly breaks down by the end of a long day. Started wearing this foundation a few months ago and I love it! Medium matte coverage that naturally just becomes steered through out the day instead of breaking downs. I love it!!
