Hose is awesome, plenty long
Received last week and used for the first time with my new Festool TS 55 REQ this last weekend. Had it hooked up to my Sears shop vac. I believe I used a 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" step up converter for the vacuum end (didn't measure, just grabbed one I had). Hose is awesome, plenty long, very flexible, good swivel on the tool end and while I didn't step on it, feels pretty tough if I did. What I received looks a bit diff than the Amazon pic on the tool end. I've posted a close up of the tool end (with and without the rubber step down end fitting) and a separate pic of the rubber end piece. You can take the rubber step down fitting off although it doesn't exactly "slip" off and goes back on just fine. The tool end ( with rubber end piece on) was a great fit on the TS 55 REQ (fits on the inside of the dust port as does the 27mm Festool hose as I understand it). It's much less expensive than the Festool equivalent and the only thing I'm missing is the anti-static feature (which wouldn't work anyway with my current set up). The rubber end piece looks very similar to Bosch VAC024 and could be identical. If you remove the rubber piece the opening is the exact same size as the dust port on my TS 55. Question to the Bosch rep who does a good job answering questions on this product. Awesome alternative to Festool
I am reviewing this tool as a comparison to the Festool vacuum hose Adi feel that's what most folks are shopping for when viewing this item. I use my tools everyday and I appreciate the quality and don't mind paying for it. However, I get really sick and tired of Festool overcharging for everything. Their hoses are ridiculous. And the anti static hose is miserable to work with due to stiffness. This hose is comparable, if not identical, in color, composition and design, to the standard gray German product. It is very flexible and maybe a foot or so longer than the Festool brand. It's strong enough you can step on it without any damage and the adapters on both ends fit all my green tools on the small end and my Festool and standard vacuums on the opposite. Everyone that uses the vac hose ask what and where it came from. Highly recommend this product.

IT FITS
A nice snug fit on both ends. 2inch rigid vacuum. It works like a vacuum hose. 👍 Bosch hose to vacuum port outer diameter 2 1/4. I.D. 2 1/8 same as rigid. Small end O.D. 1 3/8inch I.D. 1inch It fits in the festool vacuum end b/c the tabs inside the port on the tool. If it was straight through you would have to put tape around it or something to get it nice fit. So if you have a 3D printed vacuum port that is straight through be aware. If I unscrew the vacuum port off the Festool track saw the vacuum hose still fits snug. The small port on the Bosch hose does swivel not great but it does swivel.

Works well with festool products
This hose fits most of the newer Bosch tools that are designed for use with this hose. Older Bosch tools with different dust hose connectors will need an adapter. This hose also works with festool products (track saw, domino and sanders) which is mainly why I purchased it as it is a much cheaper alternative than the equivalent festool hose. I own many of these hoses, some several years old. They are all in excellent shape and are extremely durable and long lasting.

Fits Festool saw and router and my shop vac, thumbs up for this one
This works great, I bought it to use with my Festool saw and router, the end that connects to the Festool is very snug with a bit of a rubbery area so you have to push and wiggle a bit to get it in but it stays in when dragging across the work area while cutting. To be clear, the first half inch fits inside the tool effortlessly, the rubber coating then fits in perfectly which requires some pushing, if it didn't then it would slide back out to easy. I purchased at the same time a 2" to 2" shop vac connector for the end that hooks to my shop vac. I am very pleased with this product and the price was in line with my comfort area, much less then the Festool hose, I love my Festool saw and router and table, but I think they are to high priced on accessories. Very good alternative to their hose.

Awesome vacuum hose
Awesome vacuum hose, I do woodwork for a living and had been struggling to find hose, adapters and all the necessary parts to make my tools able to use a vacuum cleaner when I'm using them, mostly because I'm on the field 98% of the time, and of course I have looked at the "Festool" line of tools and they have done an excellent job on controling the dust with all the tools, but man they are expensive, I don't own one jet but after watching many videos on Youtube! I definetely want some of the festool tools. Anyways, coming back to this hose, I'm using it with a cordless makita 6 1/2" circular saw, I had to buy the small plastic adapter to be able to connect the hose to the tool, and also I have it connected to a cheap Ridgid vaccum, it captures about 85% of the dust, it feels really light, flexible and strongh, I'm really happy with this house

Very glad I stumbled on this product
Very glad I stumbled on this product. Works great, connecting my metric Festool track saw to my US shop vac. Local wood worker supply that sold me the Festool swore no such product existed. Instead they sold me a $25 Festool coupler and told me to duct tape it to a hose. For just $10 more, I now have the proper connects attached to ~16 1/2 feet of vacuum hose. When I returned the coupler for a refund, the salesman said he knew about this Bosch hose. I suspect either the Festool line makes them more money than their Bosch line (the store carries products by both companies) or their Festool distributor contract prohibits them from selling third party accessories for Festool products. Either way, experiences like this are why I regret buying the Festool track saw.

its 1/6th of the price of the Festool and works great is longer
If you have the Festool track saw and a shop vac buy this over the Festool 452878 Antistatic Hose, 27mm X 3.5m (1 1/16 in X 11.5 ft). its 1/6th of the price of the Festool and works great is longer! It works just fine in the track saw, nice fit. I have have used it with the following tools.... Festool Track saw Dewalt Router (DW618) Porter Cable 5 inch random Orbit sander. Save the Money and get this instead!
