Perfect travel bag
I just got this bag, and I love it so much! Backstory: I have a standard size Re-Kanken that I love, and I’ve been eyeing the minis for a while. I have a couple trips coming up, including Disney, so I finally splurged on a Kanken Mini, thinking it would be a great carryall/purse/personal bag. When I got it the front and side pockets were so small I couldn’t even fit my phone in them. Then I saw this, and I am so happy I ordered. It seems really durable, and I honestly like the material so much better. The straps are adjustable for all sizes (this one does not have the snaps that some other reviewers complained about). The front pocket is roomier & a great size for a phone + multiple small items, the side pockets are big enough for water bottles, and the main compartment has several organizing pouches. There is also a small zipper pouch on the back for cards/cash/valuables (it’s a tight squeeze for a phone there). The overall size is only slightly bigger than the Kanken mini, but it holds more and is better organized. It’s a bit too small for a MacBook Air 13 in., but it fits an iPad with room to spare. Due to the size it’s not going to work as a school bag for standard sized textbooks, binders, laptop, etc., but I think it’s going to be great for travel. I also plan to use it regularly for knitting and crochet and to carry water and snacks to my son’s ball games. Fjallraven who???
Save yourself the $40 and buy this if you're considering a kanken mini unless the little fox label is worth 40 bucks to you. I have a kanken sling bag and I have to say the quality of this seems even better. Time will tell, and I will update if it starts to fall apart or something but right now I'm very impressed. The material is a bit different than the kanken. Thicker and more smooth and nylon like as opposed to the kanken which seems more cottony. I have the pale Turquoise color and it is a very pretty shade of dusty aqua. A skinny water bottle fits in the side pocket. This is very roomy. I feel like it's the perfect size. Its small enough to carry as an everyday bag/purse alternative but large enough to not look ridiculous on my back. I'm 5'6" and about 155 so I'm not a tiny person....and I have found some mini backpacks look kind of silly on me. This one is perfect.

Cute & Roomy
I bought this backpack because because i liked the organizational inside pockets the fact thats its waterproof was a plus. I originally bought D190G wintersweet navy the problem i had with that style was the the label in front was big and if you take it out then its no longer water proof because of the exposed stitch holes the other reason i returned it was because the flowers were to child like and when you snapped the 2 handles together the snap would slide and not stay on top. After i returned it i ordered plain, D246A, Black this one was great the snap stayed put, the logo label is not a distraction it fits the backpack well and looks overall nice i am in love with it. Would by the other colors with the same type of label paying a little more. I think this is much better option than the Fjallraven Kanken thats cost more and has no organization inside. I have included the care instruction for anyone that lost it. you will not be disappointed by backpack!!!!!

Hot Styles offers an adorable&affordable mini back back that I think is a perfect purse alternative. At least, that's what I use it for on a day by day basis! I originally got it for a rave and that zipper in the back I could hide my debit card/license in took away absolutely all of my anxiety of someone stealing it. (in fact security didn't even check that pocket...) And lemme tell you it was great. The bag has a lot of structure and and 3 compartments. Including a divider in the main section that I accidentally put my phone into and freak out when I don't see it. But other than tricking a fool like myself, that's pretty cool. I also find it trendy, a good size, and I get compliments on it a lot. And some people who say "That's a really tiny back pack". But don't believe them because it isn't a mini back pack. Its more like a pretty small backpack. Like a large purse. The only thing I had an issue with is some lose threading on the hot styles tag in the front but considering it was more of a aesthetic blip rather quality one I can't find myself taking away a whole star for something like that. (PS my little sister has a mini fjallraven that's about the same size. I wanted one for a long time but I genuinely like hot styles more. I believe the quality/aesthetic is very on par with each other and with Hot styles you're supporting a supporting kitten huggers for a fraction of the price. Perfect multipurpose mini backpack
Got this as a dupe for the fjallraven kanken mini backpacks as well as a carrier for my magic stuff! It's a nice size. For MTG stuff, it can easily hold two, up to four deck boxes and the side pocket fits a playmat! I couldn't ask for more! For more normal uses, it can fit a 24oz hydro flask and 9.7 inch iPad. The hydro flask is a little tight if you put it in the outer pockets but fits spaciously in the main compartment. The material is sturdy and the inside is lined! The straps are adjustable and comfortable and the handle is such a cute yet useful touch. This could definitely be a day bag with all your essentials + more or a light backpack for college (like when you just need a tablet or small notebooks). The material is also good enough quality to handle patches. I sewed two onto the bag and the material took to the needle + thread well. Removing the default HotStyle patch it came was very easy but left small holes where it was threaded. It's only really noticeable in certain lighting and up close. I highly recommend adding patches or pins to this bag as it makes it so cute and personalized! Note, the upper part of the bag has padding, so it can be hard to sew through it. But this just means the quality of the bag is really nice. I highly recommend this mini backpack!

I bought this because I needed a purse but didn’t want one. I looked into a fjallraven kanken mini bag, but they were way too expensive and I didn’t like the colors. I was really excited and it came out just like I imagined! I love it! I even added a pin and keychain to make it more unique. I love this bag and it is perfect for what I needed! In some other reviews I saw that some people were getting bags that only had to adjustments that was made with a button. I kind of like it to hang low so I was fine with that when I purchased it. When it came, I saw that mine was fully adjustable and didn’t even have that button option. The bag has multiple pockets and enough room for quite a lot of stuff! I love it! Also very cute and trendy.

So much better than a Fjallraven!
I LOVE THIS BAG! I bought this originally to see if I would like a Fjallraven before I shelled out all the money for it. This bag is such a great fit for a mom purse. I also have shoulder issues, and it allows me to carry a full bag of stuff without shoulder pain. After I had had it for awhile, I decided to order the Fjallraven, thinking I'd love it just like this one. Um, it pales in comparison. This bag is SO much nicer ,that I ended up returning the Fjallraven and ordering this bag in another color, so I would have options.

Amazing Product for low price
( Hi this is Richard Danetz's daughter Angelina Danetz ) Ok so I saved enough money to buy this product because Fjallraven Kanken backpacks are all the rage now but they're so EXPENSIVE but then I stumbled upon this product. With almost all features of a Fjallraven but at a MUCH cheaper price! I thought it was too good to be true, but then I read the reviews and got hooked. Then I made the great decision of ordering it. After 3 or 4 days I got my package, It was so much better then I thought It holds all of the stuff for my art class and it could hold so much more. The yellow is so cute. If you want a Fjallraven Kanken but dont have enough money this is the bag for you

Perfect little backpack
So happy with this purchase. I was looking for a dupe for the fjallraven mini backpack (didn’t want to spend the $$$ for something that would possibly get dirty) and this one is exactly what I was looking for. Fits all my needs including my 20oz water bottle and snacks. Has an inside cushion pocket for a tablet/small laptop and 2 additional small pockets. And a small outside pocket on the back of the bag. I love the design and color. Perfect little backpack.

Better than fjallraven IMO
Bought this for my 4 year old. She has to take a change of clothes to preschool. It is perfect. The straps are a little long but I tied them up so it’s sits right on her back. I own the fjallraven mini and it is smaller than this backpack by maybe an inch. I like this backpack better because it has pockets inside and fits water bottles on the side pockets.
