Four Stars

Great tinted lip balm. Compares to the " fresh sugar" lip tints.

Gumdrop

I was really surprised by how generally easy-to-apply and easy-to-wear these were! A different a feel than, say, Fresh Sugar tinted lip balms, but not necessarily a bad thing. [They’re more similar to those Rimmel lip balms (my favorite: “Keep Calm and Party”)—which are actually GREAT. Those are so easily applied, you could put them on perfectly w/blindfolds on.] I got the shades Gumdrop, Soda, + Jelly, and I think Gumdrop is the best, most universally flattering by far.

My new favorite!

Very good product, fresh, shipped fast. No problems. Color lasts a while; its very shiny and vibrate.

I love these lip balms

I love these lip balms, and they're getting harder to find. I buy them as dupes for Fresh Sugar because the pricier brand dries out my lips (believe it or not). I have sensitive skin and lips, and I have no problem at all with these—I find them very moisturizing.

I live in fear that they will discontinue Spice permanently

I am an avid lipstick collector and these are my absolute favorite — over the Fresh sugar ones. I have medium skin tone and spice is perfect. It stains your lips a perfect natural color. I always reach for it over my Tom Ford, Chanel, Dior, MAC, etc. every day. As a mom on the go, it’s also my favorite blush stick. I thought that it was discontinued and became obsessed with finding dupes. Cover Girl, please don’t discontinue this product and spice. I’ve purchased over 15x out of fear! Low stakes, big reward with this product.

Amazing product - especially for the price!

I discovered this product while searching online for a dupe of one of my favorite lip products, Fresh Sugar. (Which I still love and will buy again). I ordered this online and love it! Great product to keep your lips moisturized and perfect to wear alone or under another lip stick product. It's affordable and I will be purchasing this again. I am not sure that is an exact duplicate, but for the money it is an excellent product, and I will continue to purchase it.

Almost perfect

I bought this as many reviews claim it's a much less expensive dupe for the $24 Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Balm and I almost completely agree with that. Like the Fresh balms, this has a thin, but very hydrating texture that glides on effortlessly and has lots of nourishing ingredients. It fades away evenly and doesn't leave the lips feeling drier than before it was applied. The shade Gumdrop is a sheer berry that can be built up to a medium opacity. The only issue I have with this, and why I deducted 1 star, is the terrible plasticky taste, which keeps me from reaching for it over the tasteless Fresh balms. I was really hoping to have found a $4 alternative to the $24 Fresh balms but unless the bad taste fades, I will continue my hunt.

I like this one!

This is a very moisturizing lip balm. I do indeed like it. When I was considering it I remember someone comparing it to Sugar by Fresh, which I love a little more. Neither one lasts very long though. So if you're okay with that it's good. It's slightly grittier than Sugar, but not really gritty... Sugar is smoother. I do love the color (Taffy) and I think any skin tone could wear it. It's sheer, so not overpowering. I tend to love sheer colors more these days and going into summer.

Product perfect but broken off at base in tube.

Love the color! A "my lips but better shade" so pinky-nude. For reference I'm medium skin toned warm/neutral undertones. Smells great but wouldn't say it's a Fresh Sugar dupe, which isn't a bad thing. Got it for under $6, like the color better than any of the Fresh ones. Win! However, when I opened the package the lipstick was broken off at the base in the tube and partly smooshed into the top of the cap. I've reattached to base let's see if it holds on.
