Great Greenie alternative!

We have a 3 year old Maltese that we used to shower with Greenies (1-2 a day) even though it says to limit them to one per day. The last time we took him to the vet, we told her what kind of food he's on and what kind of treats he gets. She was concerned with the amount of Greenies he gets and told us to limit them to one every other day. She said that Greenies contain wheat and that could be problematic for dogs later on in life. So I searched on Amazon for a wheat free dental chew... Our dog has tried three different kinds of dental chews (including this one) and likes them all. He's tried  Greenies Dental Chews for Dogs, Teenie Pack, 96 Chews  and  Zuke's Z-Ridge Mini - Carrot Fresh Breath Dental Chew Bones, 15 Count Pouch . After reading mixed reviews, I decided to give these a try. My first impressions were that these were pretty large for a "small" dog. They are twice the length of a Greenie. When our little guy got one, he ate half of it, then tried to hide the other half. He did like it though. I will say that he usually devours his Greenies but he takes his time on these (he did the same with the Zukes at first). After a few days, he seems to really like them. If you're doing a side by side comparison between the Get Naked dental chew, Greenies and Zukes, I think these are better. They're really low in calories and they're wheat free, corn free, soy free and gluten free. They're cheaper than Zukes as well. My recommendation is to cut them in half. That will give ... Read More

Nice low calorie treat

I have a diabetic dog so calorie counting is very important. These treats are the pefect size for my 25 lb. dog and only contain 24 calories each. Compared to the weight management petite greenies at 49 calories each, this is the clear winner for us.

Love them!

Pup loves 'em, I love 'em for her. Nice, refreshing scent. A nice alternative to Greenies. I fit one of these through both ends of my pup's red Kong with some peanut butter in there and freeze it when I know I'll be out for a longer period of time - keeps her occupied for a good long while! She loves the challenge!

Five Stars

My pups like these. They digest really well for my dogs (unlike Greenies).

Great product

This is a great product, my dogs love them and they are healthier than greenies! Greenies are not 100% digestible and are of lower quality, these are better in my opinion.

Safe and Healthy, Perfect Size

We used to give our 10lb golden doodle Greenies teenie sized treats. She loved them. I had read about the choking hazards associated with Greenies, but I figured she was safe eating them as long as I was watching her. Once she decided that she preferred her Greenies under the bed, away from prying eyes, I decided it was time to change to a safer treat. I find that her mouth benefits from Get Naked, just as it did from the Greenies. I prefer the size of the Get Naked chews, because she doesn't gulp them down as fast. It really takes her some time to get through a full stick. All around a healthy and safe treat for teeth.

Healthy dental treat

These are the healthiest option for dental treats on the market and my dog loves them. She's 8lbs so I cut them in half. At first she didn't know what to do with them, having switched from greenies, but now can't get enough.
