Better than expected and amazing customer service!

This is a modal window. The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.  So I was debating on Nature Bond vs the Haakaa and I was honestly nervous because of the price difference. I thought this one might not be as good, the suction must be weird, or something to make it cheaper. I WAS WRONG! It came yesterday and WOW. I used it on one side while nursing my baby on the other side and no joke- I got 3 oz my first time using it. I kind of have an over supply on my left side so my pediatrician recommended I feed her more on the right and use this on the left to help with the letdown, relive some discomfort, and also help not overwhelm my baby when she goes to feed on that side. Better auction tip- a mom in my mom group showed me to flip the suction cup inside out (kind of backwards on itself. Squeeze the cup and place over boob. Then fold the suction cup back into place over your boob and it creates a great suction. It didn't fall off and I didn't have to hold it the whole time. --I'll try to post a picture and video-- use two hands lol and squeeze before you place on boob. Kinda hard video taping and trying to do it but it totally works! As for customer service. I had one small random issue that was not their fault ((I don't want to give details due to people taking advantage of the company)) BUT let's just say they responded within a couple hours and fixed the entire situation without any further questions a... Game changer - will continue to BF

With my second child I thought I knew how to avoid bf complications that lead to pain and mastitis but I was wrong. In fact, I think improper pumping techniques caused me more pain than improper latch! A lactation consultant mentioned these cups as an alternative to other pumps and said they work differently with lots of praise from her clients. The price is reasonable for a pump alternative so I ordered one and gave it a try. It's pretty straight forward to use but I still recommend watching some YouTube videos so you know what to expect and if you're using it properly. Results surprised me so much I decided to continue breastfeeding since I no longer have the other issues. My first attempt was on a drained breast (from breastfeeding) yet I still got 1.5 oz out without any effort! I now use this simultaneously while breastfeeding on one side so that the baby stimulates letdown. On a full breast I can get 2.5-3 oz while focusing on feeding my baby on the other side. The catch is that this continuously stimulates my nipple so after using it I could achieve another letdown just by leaning forward over the baby. Gravity and the weight of the cup often does the trick for me. I got the flower stopper from Haakaa brand to plug it before I have a chance to transfer milk to a storage bag. These cups will topple easily if knocked. They can also get dislodged if baby kicks it during feeding. Pros: easy to use Comfortable alternative (especially for someone who hates the pump) Silen... If you're debating on this product.. GET IT. Total milk saver

MOMS!!! this product is a saving grace. I looked at this and the Haakaa and went with this one on its half the price and...if were being honest they are both silicon attached milk suckers....can they be that different? I have used the product for about a week now and it has been a real milk saver. I have to go back to work in 5 more weeks and every single oz counts. Leaky nipples out of the shower? This worked amazing and the fact they were warm i was able to let down 3 oz no problem AND WHAT A RELIEF! I also wear it while while I'm nursing the baby and I would take this over a nursing pad all days of the week since I'm saving milk and relieving a fuller breast. The product is easy to clean, but if you're using a small washcloth sometimes it's tricky to get your finger to the bottom of the cup, but you just manipulate the silicon cone out of the way. Tonight baby was fussy and I didn't have my pump heads washed yet (not that I could have held my pump head and dealt with baby anyways) so I put this product on during my feeding (hands free suction), when it was full I went and dumped it in a freezer bag and put it back on then finished rocking baby until she was back asleep. By the time I was done I had produced 6 oz with this product and it took maybe 30 min total? I would highly recommend this. Yeah it's not as expensive as the other one but this is by no means a cheap/junk product, I just dont think they're screwing us on price. The box that the product came in was also a... Read More

Game changer

Get some extra milk without actually spending more time!!!! I have been pumping so much since I had to start early with my little guy being jaundice - I wanted to slow down pumping but still save some milk... this is the best way. I have saved time from pumping but still have some extra milk!! I go between both breast if not using this but when I use it I nurse him solely on one and Haakaa the other. The next time I do the opposite breast. It is comfortable if ‘latched’ correctly - make sure nipple in the middle! Suction holds on very well - I used it while cooking the other night!! Be carefully to watch for a kick happy baby if doing cradle hold... my son kicks a lot when gasy and we took a milk bath the other night because of it. I now do football hold when using this! I get about half an ounce to an ounce on average - the night he kicked it I still had almost and ounce so I may have had way more than an ounce total! Also the milk saver stopper is very nice and handy as I have knocked it over while trying to transition us after feeding and it saved the day!

Great set for a great price! Good suction

I was hesitant to buy this because I thought I should go with Haakaa brand. But I'm so glad I got this. I really love it and it works well. The accessories are very nice too- I cant tell u how many times the stopped saved my milk from being spilled. The bag and cover are great for storage in diaper bag. **FYI- the clear plastic cover Is not to prevent milk from spilling, its merely a dust cover. I've seen people complain about it. Now that baby is older and kicking all the time, I appreciate the strap that keeps it in place. The instructions are pretty easy to understand and I like that u can choose how strong u want the suction to be, simply by squeezing a certain area. It looks pretty crazy when it's on, but it works well. I sterilize per the instructions every day I use it. I've been using it for 4 months and it still is holding up well.

Time saver, helps build supply, great suction, easy to clean.

I started with a electric pump and got tired of cleaning the parts all the time (use it for bottles for my husband to care for our daughter) plus breastfeeding on demand. So I got a Haakaa... I liked it so much, that I bought this Nature Bond Kit. Cheaper but just as effective if not more. I LOVE it. So much time is being saved washing parts and being able to keep up with the house better. I can run around and get what I need done and pump, I even used these while showering and got 4 oz. My baby is almost 3 months old and in the first few weeks she ate through our entire freezer stash of 80 oz. I’ve had this pump for less than two weeks and my supply is ample enough again that I can rebuild that freezer stash, have a fridge stash, and breastfeed on demand. I was able to add 20 extra oz to the freezer, 8 oz to the fridge in one days time. Very very pleased with this product. The lid and stopper accessories are nice and helpful with a squirmy baby in arms. Only thing I didn’t like is that the measurements are off a little bit. However, it is mentioned with this product that it is not 100% accurate so I will not take a star off for that. I will buy this for my nursing friends as gifts. It’s absolutely the best. -Jasmine

Even after nursing AND pumping I was STILL able to collect my first time using it!!! 😃

I just received this product today, it was delivered right after (literally minutes) I had got done nursing my daughter and pumping. I was so excited and just wanted to try it out and get a feel for it for when I needed to feed her again and put it on, pulled my sweater over and went on about my business. It was on for about 10 minutes and I looked at it expecting it to be empty or maybe a couple drops at the most and it had filled to the 1 1/2 ounce mark 😲🤯 the ounce markers are off by almost half an ounce however. But still I could not believe I collected a full ounce on 1 side in 10 minutes!!! It usually takes me 30 minutes to pump that much from BOTH sides with my Spectra s2 double electric pump!!!! And I was "empty" before I received it I wasn't able to get a single drop from my electric pump and then THIS!! I'm so impressed and it's already WELL worth the $14 spent on it!!! I can't wait to see what I get during her feeding when I use it again!!! And to think I thought I had a low supply, I was almost ready to give up breastfeeding bc I was so frustrated! This magical device has me second thinking that and I finally feel hopeful that I can continue to give my baby girl all that liquid gold and plenty of it!! 🤞🏻 I can build my freezer stash with this!!!! Also, the pink stopper is invaluable, I've already learned that lol And yes it suctioned perfectly and did not come off or lose suction (flipping back the flange method) and I have 2 little boys (4&5 yo) running int... Haakaa started my freezer stash!

I’m a big fan of haakaas. I recommend them to all my new mommy friends. Would be great to do a breastfeeding basket for a new mommy and include this in there! This helped me start my freezer stash! I started off only getting 1/2 an oz but now I can get up to 2.5 oz with just the haakaa. How I use: I peel back the haakaa flange and suction it to one side while the baby nurses on the other. You can also just place it on the boob (you’ll have to hold it) and let it catch the letdown without actually pulling milk. Remove Clogs: you can also use this to remove clogs. Fill with hot water (as hot as you can stand on your nipple). Add 1 tbsp of epsom salt and suction onto the breast, let stand for 15 min. You may have to repeat this a few times. Forceful letdowns: if you have a forceful letdown I’ve also seen people recommending the haakaa to catch the milk but it helps to reduce choking/gagging the baby may have when nursing during a forceful letdown.

Works really well. Very happy with this purchase.

I have used this almost daily, during my morning feeding session, to catch milk from one breast while feeding my baby from the other. If I'm engorged at all, I'll put this on the fuller breast so that when my baby needs to latch on it, it's significantly easier for her to do so. When I switch sides with baby, I'll put this on the other side to catch some hind milk. I'll then put this in the fridge and mix it with pumped milk from later in the day. I have noticed if I don't mix it with pumped milk, it's definitely mostly foremilk. It's very watery, so I don't recommend, from my own personal experience, that you only use this product to get a supply going in the freezer (unless you're hand expressing more into the silicone pump). I also really like the price point on this pump. I imagine it works just as well as the Haakaa for only half the price. Well worth it for me.

Must have for nursing mamas!

Love love love this product!! I’m exclusively breastfeeding my 5 month old son and have been trying desperately to pump to start a stock pile for emergencies and also for cereal feeding. I wasn’t having much luck with my electric pump, only able to get maybe 1/2 an ounce to an ounce at each pumping. I even purchased the Pumpin Pals flanges , which helped a bit but not much. I tried using a manual pump and that was also not very effective. Basically I was tired of all the fuss of pumping after each feeding to see such little results. The constant washing of all the pieces to only come out with 4-6 ounces of bagged milk a day was tiring after all these months so I just stopped. I heard of the haakaa pump from my lactation consultant and after searching my nearby target stores I wasn’t able to get one. I looked it up on amazon and saw this particular pump in my search results. The reviews were great and the price was lower so I took a chance on it. I’m now collecting about 1oz during each feeding which is similar to my previous pumping attempts, but it’s so effortless! I attach my silicone pump to the side I’m not nursing with and collect whatever I can. It’s working well to build my little stash and I’m comfortable about having milk to mix cereal with in the near future!

MUST HAVE for any breastfeeding mom

This is the perfect accessory for any breastfeeding mom!! I hemmed and hawed over which one to get, as I knew I wanted one with a stopper (but didn't want to pay an extra $7-10 for one), and ordered this one since it seemed to be the "complete package" at a fair price point vs other silicone pumps (I'm looking at you, haakaa). I first bought this when my daughter was 3 weeks old and at the time was still very much getting my milk supply regulated. I was pumping maybe once a day to try to establish a supply and was getting ~4oz total per session. This has pretty much replaced my need to pump. My first time using it I got ~2oz that I would not have got otherwise and on average I do get 2.5oz now. I know a lot of people say that the measurements are inaccurate; I haven't exactly found that to be true. In my experiences, they're pretty accurate when compared to other bottles that I pour it into afterwards (Avent, Spectra, Nuk, Mam, etc). I have only had an issue with my daughter kicking it off of me one time, and that was on a day where it was particularly full (I believe I got a little over 3oz that day) and it had been on for awhile and lost suction. Every other time it has maintained suction well enough that bumping or lightly kicking it has not caused it to fall off. I can see how this would be a problem though if you routinely would get 3-4oz.

Great Mimic

This was a great buy for the price. I had 2 haakaas but they are super pricey. I got one on sale but it was the large 5oz one. I didn't need one that big. I found these and they are the perfect price. Super easy to clean. However, they do not have the same suction power as the haakaa. It still collected milk but I had to reattach it about 3 times during the nursing session. My very active infant was able to knock it off. So beware. This might be better for smaller babies like newborns. But I can't complain. For the price, it definitely got the job done.

Will Fall Off, but is more gentle on the nips

This will fall off. The suction is less than a Haakaa. But sometimes I DO prefer to use this if my nipples are sore from feeding since it’s less abrasive on my nipples. However… probably lost 8 ounces of milk sitting in bed. WORST. It comes with a strap but the strap is for taller people, and doesn’t go short enough for me sitting down. Plus, who has enough hands for more stuff to put on to use the product?
