Using for newborn overnight sleep

Just received and LOVE! This is a simple playard with the option to set up as a Bassinet. Keep in mind that It does not come with any of the bells and whistles as the other pack and plays and it does not come with any storage space or caddies. I ordered the color Stratus and its a nice deep dark blue with teal and mint cloud patterns along all 4 of the top edges. The toy bar comes with detachable toys (they are secured on to the toy bar with velcro), and there is a set of wheels on one side of the playard to help you roll it from one room to the other. I have french doors all around my house, so I do not have trouble getting it from room to room, however it is easy to snap close and lightweight enough to carry in case you find it too wide for your door frame. It was really simple and quick for my husband to set up (note that you have to snap the sides in place and then push from the base to get it set up, otherwise the sides will not snap together.) The instructions read the same as ikea instructions, but it really does not take much to get it up and running. The bassinet portion sits about one foot deep, and is really sturdy and feels safe. I felt comfortable enough to add the Dream on Me 3" Playard Mattress for added height and comfort, (this is a great fit mattress and is light so it feels secure). This was purely a personal choice as it does not really need it, I just liked the way it brings the baby closer to arms reach and the people at BuyBuyBaby also recommended ad... Read More

Bang for your buck

Baby loves it! As first time parents we scoured all of the reviews for ALL of the baby sleep products. We bought this to keep in the living room for daytime napping. Our baby likes it better than the much more expensive Halo bassinet that we use at night in the bedroom. It’s a great size and sturdy, yet easily folds up for transport. It does have wheels that aid in moving it around the house but it’s too wide for doorways so you’ll have to fold it up anyway, but that’s not too big of a hindrance. The bassinet feature is awesome. For the price it can’t be beat, I would definitely recommend!

Perfect!

I love this pack and play! I was so excited to find this when my daughter outgrew her halo bassinet. She fits wonderfully at 4 months in the bassinet with room to grow. When she starts to sit up I plan on lowering it from the bassinet to the regular bed. I did buy a mattress and a sheet after reading some review. I’m so happy we can use it at home and easily pack it up when we are out of town. We both love it!

This has been great for us

This has been great for us. We had bought a fancy halo bassinet and ended up using the graco PAC n play instead. Funny how that happens. I liked this one because it doesn't come with all the extra ads ons and you can't really beat that prIce. It's nice for tummy Time too. I have a 3 year old and this way he's elevated and not on the floor where my daughter can trample him or fall on him.

It's one of my daughter's 2 favorite shower gifts!

I bought the Brolex stretchy fitted Pack n Play sheets to go with it, plus the Graco quilted fitted sheet for extra cushion, & they fit perfect! At 4 weeks old, my daughter said it was so comfortable they didn't need to use the Graco quilted fitted sheet. Before baby was born, my daughter & son in law recieved all the best baby gear you can imagine, so I asked which item was a favorite that they would give as a shower gift, & she said either the Blooming Bath flower tub that fits in the sink or a Pack n Play. But at 6 weeks old, she said the On The Go Pack n Play is not as comfortable as the Graco Simple Solutions Pack n Play with Changer they bought for their downstairs livingroom, which only costs a bit more. (I guess baby's heavier weight means he needs a softer sleeping surface.) So I suggested they buy another Graco Simple Solutions Pack n Play to use as his bedside bassinette, & keep this On The Go Pack n Play as a handy 3rd play yard for another room or to take on outings. I also bought the 3" Dream On Me Pack n Play mattress, but baby isn't old enough to sleep safely on that yet, IMO. But it will make the On The Go Pack n Play very comfortable when he's old enough to use it. UPDATE: At 9 weeks old baby was no longer comfortable on the hard Pack 'n Play surface, so he'd only sleep in his parent's bed & his mom had to stay awake for hours & watch to keep him safe. So they decided to put the 3" Dream On Me play yard mattress I bought them in the bottom of their bedsi... Read More
