Great even in summer mushiness and heat
I love this stuff! It’s better than Hourglass mineral veil! It’s smooth, hydrating (I have dry skin) and makeup sticks to it like glue! Great product!!

Must have to Travel with
I tried this product as an alternative to Hourglass Primer which is super expensive..and i have to say i like this product more. it goes on so smooth and it dries quickly..its not super matte.. but it does help with shine and oiliness. I usually put this in my make up bag when I'm travelling because it works so well.

Dupe for Hourglass primer
This is the perfect dupe for the hourglass veil primer, if anything I actually prefer this over it! Not bad that it isn’t as pricey and it is perfect for oily skin! I find it works best when warmed up in my hands before I apply it to my face.

Identical to Hourglass Mineral Veil
Okay for this product lets just say it certainly surpasses its claims. For the price you cant bea't it. I use Hourglass mineral veil primer....Lets just say I will not be purchasing that again because this NYX Angel Veil is identical in performance. Thank you NYX, and for anyone out there looking for an Hourglass Mineral Veil dupe. I urge you to give this a try this first because its exactly the same, but saves you $40.00. It applies smooth, dries down a little but not overly drying, keeps your foundation on, holds up against heat. Is waterproof depending on the foundation you use. A little goes a long way. Worth purchasing.

best dupe for hourglass primer.
I am a makeup artist. Was looking for dupe for hourglass primer. I found this as dupe for hourglass. Pleade prep you skin more before you apply this primer. This might be too drying for dry skin. But with proper moisturizer its good to use. I have been using it for my client for flawless finish

I have been using Hourglass mineral veil for years now and I'm trilled There's a much cheaper dupe!!! This stuff is exactly like Hourglass the way it feels on the skin and same way my make up looks!! NYX PLEASE NEVER DISCONTIUE THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Fantastic primer
I believe this is a dupe for the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer, which I can't afford. It goes on easily and keeps my foundation looking nice all day. Some days I don't even wear foundation and my skin still looks nice. I'm on my second tube and I totally love this product. Actually it has no color.

Silky Smooth
This is a dupe for the hourglass veil primer. I have both and I actually prefer the Angel veil. Having dry skin, most pore filling primers make my makeup slide right off ( not this one). I just tap in a little where I want to reduce pores and smooth skin. It's beautiful ( even on its own). I often use it first, in conjunction with other primers ( glowy, gripping, ect…) I've never had an issue. If it's pulling you are using too much. 5 stars all day!

Awesome dupe for Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
I've been using the Hourglass Veil Primer for years, and I've decided to find something more affordable. This was suggested as a dupe, so I picked it up on the day my local Ulta opened back up. The consistency of this primer is a bit different than Hourglass, but that's not a con. This primer does reek though. Like it smells horrendous... but it keeps my makeup looking excellent for at least ten hours, even in the heat/humidity, so I can overlook it.

I Love this Product
I have been so impressed with this primer! I bought it because I had read reviews and seen YouTubers compare it to the Hourglass Veil Primer. I have never used the Hourglass primer, but this is wonderful! It is so smooth, has a very obvious blurring effect and feels amazing on the skin! It is white when it comes out of the tube, but melts into the skin when applied and doesn't leave any sort of color. A "go-to" drugstore primer for me! I love it.

Best foundation primer ever!
This primer makes my make-up Last all day long. I like that it is semi-matte on my oily skin. I tried the sample of Hourglass's Mineral Veil primer & for me, it doesn't measure up to NYX Angel Veil because Hourglass's primer doesn't make my make-up last as last as long as Angel Veil.

ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PRIMER
I've tried a lot of primers that are geared towards oily/ combination skin types. This is the first that I've tried that gives a more velvety feel but still mattifies at the same time. I absolutely love this primer! It has worked wonders for my skin and have used this everyday since I've bought it. I've also heard this is a dupe for the Hourglass primer and that makes me feel better because this is helli cheaper!

Wonderful
So i know kathleen compared this to hourglass' primer, and i figured i'd give it a shot. I love it, it's so smooth, i was nervous because i guess a lot of people have stated this had broken them out, and my skin can be very picky with products and i was afraid that would happen to me, but i lucked out and have had no issues with this wonderful product. I'm very fair skinned, with sensitized skin. I have some texture on my skin, but it's not terrible. I'm 23, just so you can compare and see if it may work for you or not.

Great Buy!
I am cyber-stalking the Hourglass Veil Mineral primer and heard this is an excellent dupe so I decided to try it. I looked everywhere and finally found one lonely primer just waiting for me and I heard angels! :) I tried it the next day and LOVE how it makes my skin feel and how it makes my foundation look. Smooth flawless finish was achieved and it helped blur my pores. I can safely say I'm not so concerned about the Hourglass primer any more...I can save that $50+ which is a plus...I can just buy something else! Definitely worth trying...

Great primer!
I love this primer, it reminds me so much of the hourglass mineral veil primer like others have said. It makes your skin feel so soft which makes a great base for foundation.

Flawless!!!
I am very wary of primer mostly because a lot of them don't do what they claim to do but NYX in general has been very solid on delivery. This is one of heir pricier items and so I splurged on it. Used it in conjunction with my usual skin care regimen and my makeup looks more flawless and lasts way longer than the high end primers I've been using. For those who are unfamiliar: this primer is meant to be the answer to the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer which you know is very pricy. So this primer is 10/10 would recommend to anyone, especially if your have oily skin!

Favorite primer!
After I heard KathleenLights recommending this primer and comparing it to the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer, I could not wait to get my hands on this. This (in my opinion) is a great cheaper alternative to the Hourglass primer, still giving a silky smooth effect to the skin and prolonging the wear of makeup at a fraction of the cost. I have combination skin and find that this does a great job of mattiyfing my oily areas and not disturbing my dry parts. I prefer this over other high end primers I've tried in the past and would highly recommend it!!!

Great Primer for Oily Skin
NYX Angel Veil was another primer I took a chance on to find a primer that would work with my oily skin. I had tried numerous products such as Benefit's Porefessional, Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer, Loreal Pore Vanisher, Rimmel's Stay Matte etc. I was never completely satisfied with any of the effects of these and I heard from a friend to give this a shot. I really love this product because I do find it helps my makeup last all throughout the day. It is a dream to apply. Very lightweight and soft, like a feather. I feel it gives my face a very diffused, smooth effect. Oil will appear throughout the day but its nothing a little powder or oil blotting sheet can't fix. Whats most important is that even if I do get some oil it doesn't ruin or cause my face makeup to slip around. I have also heard this is a dupe for an Hourglass primer, but I can't vouch for that since I have not tried out the Hourglass one. All in all I love this primer for its smoothing, diffusing effect! Also as a little bonus I do find it blurs the look of my pores which is a always a plus! A moderately priced quality primer. The cute packaging doesn't hurt either!

Worth the price
This is the dupe for the Hourglass Primer and keeps me matte for hours. Not a fan of the white cast it leaves but it does do wonders for oil control for a budget price

I recently bought this primer because I heard it compares closely to one of my favorites (Hourglass Mineral Veil). & yeah, it comes pretty dang close! My only complaint is it really doesnt mattify my skin as much as I hoped for but that is a fairly easy fix! it does vanish my pores well & makeup lays beautifully on top. It is a good primer! if you are on a budget & need something that feels luxurious, this is it!

Amazing dupe for Hourglass!
After reading the reviews on this product, I was pretty hesitant to try it out. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Hourglass primer but I wanted to find something cheaper & this was the one! I have combo - oily skin, & am medium tan with yellow undertones, and this did not leave any white cast whatsoever (my hourglass one did). It dries so fast which is a plus and keeps me matte majority of the day. It's goes on pretty smooth and light. I do suggest shaking it before use . Overall, this product was so amazing & I highly recommend it. (Only reason it wasn't 5 stars b/c it wasn't as moisturizing as hourglass but that's fine with me.) Just give it a try!!
