Reviews for Morphe 2 Hint Hint Skin Tint

People say Morphe is really similar to Huda Beauty.

pleasently surprised

I got a lot of different tints and foundations when I first started beauty school to test expensive ones and cheap ones, formulas and oxidations. This is one of the only ones that has yet to let me down. Immaculate setting abilities, doesn't dry me out, and doesn't cake or accentuate my fine lines. I love it and will definitely be buying more.

A new fave!!!

I have combo skin with a super oily tzone. I never use heavy foundations unless it's a special event. Skin tints, tinted moisturizes, bb's and cc creams are something I've used for years. I normally use the Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation. That's is my baby but I got curious to try other brands since it's become such a big thing now. This here!!!! I loved it. It blends better with your hands then it does a beauty blender or brush. It literally looked like my skin but better. I used a matte primer, setting powder and spray to set this and I had no issues with extra oiliness. This products will normally leave you pretty dewy regardless. This isn't meant to give you full coverage. People need to understand that when using products like this. This is great for those who like to makeup their face but don't like the feel of heavy products. My skin was glowing from how great this looked. Definitely keeping this in the rotation.

Great skin tint

I switched to this from Glossier skin tint. This is less dewy and more buildable. It may be a bit more drying though. Seems to have a good shade range. Perfect for every day use for a more natural look. It does dry quickly so I recommend using a beauty blender!

Morphe Skin Tint

I was sent this product in exchange for my review. I think this is an incredible product for someone looking for a slight bit of coverage. NOT FULL COVERAGE. Not even medium coverage but that's what I'm looking for in a product. It's very runny, which speaks to its hint of color. If it's not set with powder it can get a little greasy through the day. I blend it with a beauty blender which works well. The performance and packing of this product makes the price well worth it!

Perfect & simple

This skin tint really evened out my skin tone perfectly with uneven skin tone and acne scars covered. Yes it is like water but blends out so nicely with the OG beauty blender. Paired with concealer for under eyes and my skin is bright a glow with no cakey mess 😍

Great Product

This product works great as a foundation. The packaging is good quality and the applicator is a dropper. It's a little watery, but once you blend it out with a beauty blender it looks beautiful.

Skin Tint

I was so excited to receive this in the mail. I tried the "Hint Of Almond" skin tint. I was really surprised but happy with the results it gave my skin. It looked very natural and added some dewiness to my face. The coverage on this skin tint was strong enough that it covered my redness and reduced the look of some of my acne scarring it was also buildable which is great. #beauty #skin tint #foundation #Morphe #Morphe 2 #Make up

Finally Found My Favvvvv Foundation!

I have an oily T zone and the rest of my face is normal, I use this with elf putty primer (whole face) and Becca ever matte (t zone). Just 4 drops blended with a fluffy brush and then gently tap with a beauty blender and it gives me perfect coverage. It evens out my skin beautifully! It does build if you add more drops, but I like the sheerness of just a few drops. It literally looks like my skin but better. I do notice that if you go at it too hard with a beauty blender it does take product from your face, so make sure your blender isn't too damp. Not too sure how people are getting "cake face" (maybe other products on their face isn't working well with the foundation) but this definitely doesn't do that for me. I lightly dust with setting powder and it stays for hoouurrs looking like a fresh face. I've been using almost daily for a few months and I'm bearly half way! Will definitely buy again and again! Please don't change this formula!!

AMAZING! Hint of Marshmallow

I'm fair-light with a neutral-cool undertone and purchased the shade 'Hint of Marshmallow". I have sensitive and acne prone skin with an oily t-zone but dry everywhere else. the benzoyl peroxide acne wash I use really dries my skin out, especially now during the winter. I was looking for a foundation that didn't look so heavy and cakey after application. I normally use clinique's acne solution foundation in the shade "alabaster", so "Hint of Marshmallow" was the perfect match for me. It's a very watery formula. I just dripped a little onto my face and blended it out with a damp beauty blender. Let me tell you something...BUY THIS FOUNDATION!!!! OMG ITS AMAZING!! I didn't feel dry at all and it didn't rub off on my jacket or face mask as I wore it too. the claims of it also having a blurring effect is an added bonus. It was my-skin-but-better!! I has never worn a foundation that looked more natural than this one. for the price, you absolutely can't beat it. if you are still unsure about it, definitely give it a try! I recommend going to see the shade range in person though. 10/10 would recommend!!

Perfect!

I didn't want a foundation that was heavy or cakey so I figured I would give it a try and it was perfect. I put it on using a beauty blender and the Morphe translucent powder and it was perfect for hours. Was just enough to give me an even completion. It also didn't break out my sensitive skin!!

Update after a couple months of use

I thought I loved this when I first started using it but I love it even more now. It matches my skin tone better than any other foundation I've used. I have a fair olive/yellow complexion and most foundations make my face look either pink or yellow. This is seamless. Also I have really good skin because I've had a strict skin regimen for two years and no longer need full coverage foundation. I don't like how my skin looks with full coverage foundation. It's obvious I'm wearing makeup. This is perfect for me. It evens my skin tone and covers the redness I have on my cheeks. It's very light coverage so in some places I apply two layers. It still doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup. It looks like my skin! I use a damp beauty blender to apply. I dab it to blend. Then I use a translucent powder foundation on top. It doesn't rub off on my mask. I hope they never stop making this because it's what I've been looking for. The bonus is it's under $20. I have about 5 foundations that are all over $35 and this works better. It also doesn't oxidize. It feels like a tinted serum. Can't say enough good things about this.

Best I've tried

First of all if you're looking for full coverage this isn't for you. I'm an esthetician so I have really good skin with no blemishes, not oily and barely there acne scars because of chemical peels. I don't need or want a regular foundation. I don't like the look of them because no matter what you buy it's obvious you're wearing it. I want a natural look. Basically my skin but better. I have some redness on my skin and wanted a even tone all over. This does it. I like that it's watery because it doesn't go on thick. It makes my skin flawless but you can't tell I'm wearing anything. I guessed on the color and it matches perfectly. I used concealer under my eyes, a light application of primer and a translucent setting powder. To apply it I used the dropper to put it on my face and a wet beauty sponge to blend. I didn't swipe but dabbed it. I've purchased $40 foundations that don't make my skin look near as good as this. It didn't oxidize after being on. I'm in love. I hope they don't stop making this because it's perfect. I feel the need to buy multiple bottles so I'll always have some. Lol.

AMAZING

You guys.... this stuff is amazing. I normally use a beauty blender for foundation, but with this I apply and blend with my fingers. Looks like your skin, but better! I've been big into serum foundations. I have the Kosas, Ilia, and Perricone MD foundation serums; think I like this one better for HALF THE PRICE. Try it! You can always return it.

Very good!!

I really like how this morphe 2 skin tint foundation looks on my face!! the product does settle very fast in the bottle so I do have to shake it up quite often and every time I use it too. I don't really like that this foundation ABSORBS RIGHT DOWN INTO MY BLENDER INSTANTLY, only because I'm not used to having to reapply my foundation as much. but I am also not used to using anything besides a beauty blender to blend in my liquid foundation so it may be better if you apply it with another tool. I am overall pretty satisfied with my experience using this foundation!

I loved the applicator it made it easy to apply to my hand then beauty blender. Loved the coverage overall and it lasted all day with my setting spray which I was impressed with

good light coverage.

I've never used a light coverage, and was afraid to but it definitely is used to highlight natural beauty. It's good just a bit too runny

For the Minimalist Routine

If you're anything like me and prefer a quick morning routine, this foundation will fit in perfectly. I did my usual skincare, applied a few drops with my beauty blender, applied powder and then setting spray. I had a skin like finish. I have sensitive skin and did not experience any irritation. I would like to see the brand extend their shades. I wear their darkest shade so they are excluding a number of people from this launch. Would be 5 stars with inclusivity!

Solid product

After using Cover fx drops for a year, decided to try this out as a budget-friendly alternative. I'm very pleased! The coverage is good at evening out redness and, with a little concealer, does a great job overall. It can look like it's sitting on top of your skin immediately after applying and I've taken to using a setting powder (definitely important if you live in a humid climate) to keep everything in place and increase durability. Unlike the Cover fx drops, you cannot mix this with other products like sunscreen or moisturizer- it's not pigmented enough. This has to be used alone and is best when applied with a brush. A beauty blender works well but takes more effort and time and fingers don't provide the same buildable coverage. Since it requires more product (5-6 or more drops vs 1-2 of cover fx) and finishing, I'll probably go back to using Cover Fx in the summer so I can just mix it with sunscreen. In the winter though, this is a great alternative and much better price.

The review you have been looking for!

Okay, I will be addressing every possible question I could think of honestly. So first, Is the coverage good? Yes. I have very red skin + acne, and it does a VERY good job covering it. However, I do believe it depends how you apply it. In my experience, if you use a brush it can come off as streaky so i'd prefer a damp sponge. A sponge also provides me more coverage. (But not cakey of course.) Next question, How do my pores look? I think they look good. Not exaggerated in any way.(I sometimes use a porefilling primer but my face still looks the same if I use it or not. Just make sure to blend in INTO the skin and not ON TOP of the skin. (I achieve this by bouncing my sponge on the face instead of dragging. Also, DO NOT put product directly onto the sponge, or it will absorb most of the product.) Next, Is it good for all skin types? Yes. I have combo skin so I can relate to both oily and dry skin. It doesn't make make my face super shiny or cling on to my dry spots. It gives a dewy finish but if you don't like that you can dust on a bit of powder. In my experience all I need it a bit of powder to set my foundation. Not baking, because baking tends to dry out my skin. (However I assume if your buying this you are into light minimal makeup and don't really use a whole lot of powder like beauty gurus.) So what if you choose not to use setting powder at all? It honestly looks the same, it just doesn't last as long.(But setting sprays can help with that if you were wondering. And i... Read More

Amazing for an "everyday" look

This tint is amazing. I didn't buy it with supper big expectations because I was looking for something lightweight and easy to wear on a more everyday basis. I normally use the maybeline super stay foundation which is great but it is too much if I just want to do a little something for school or for lunch with friends. This foundation is great! It evens out my skin tone it has a great finish and I am pretty sure it's buildable (I usually just do one layer) it is super light weight so it feels like nothing on the skin. I will definitely buy again, in fact I am getting one for my mom who doesn't do a lot more than tinted moisturizer on a daily. Definitely recommend. My only problem is that it is a bit liquidy, so a lot of the product gets absorbed into my foundation brush (which works better than a beauty blender for this type of product). Someone was saying it dries too fast but I think the drying time is good, it gives me enough time to blend but it's not wet for long after that so you definitely have to be a little bit fast with it.

Surprisingly nice!

I'm shocked by how nice the finish is on this. I didn't expect much, since it's so cheap and just a tint. But wow, the coverage is buildable without caking or flaking. I have super sensitive, combination skin and I use medicated gel on my face. Not everything looks right or finishes nicely on me, so finding a good foundation is always an adventure. My HG foundation is Uoma Beauty, but sometimes I want less coverage and decided to try this. I am fair in the winter and fair to light in the summer. I have a lot of pink in my skin, so cool undertones. I went with hint of ivory. When I first apply it, it looks a little bit too light. But after blending and drying, it's perfect. Latte would have been too dark for me but might be perfect for the summer! I highly recommend this. I wish there were more photos to help match shades.
