iSpring Customer Support - Sean

Our newly purchased home came equipped with a Reverse Osmosis system. I contacted iSpring to determine knowledge about the system and I was contacted very promptly by Sean, an iSpring representative. Sean efficiently provided me with all the information on how best to order filters and for the correct YouTube video to watch in order to maintain our new system. He also went above and beyond with respect to customer service, by shipping us the required wrench to help facilitate the filter change. With Sean’s support, expertise, and extreme attention to customer satisfaction, the task of maintaining the RO system was trivial. His support and clear and concise communication skill made the task easy and enjoyable. Sean’s support was extremely appreciated. I would highly recommend the iSpring RO system.

Ispring customer service is the best

I recently ordered some replacement filters and RO membrane for my ispring system. I had a couple of questions so I called their support#. Johns sweared the phone right away and was very helpful in getting me squared away quickly. Very impresssed with John and ispring!

Arrived dry, but still worked perfectly

I was concerned when I received the filter, because RO filters are supposed to remain moist at all times, and this one was bone dry. I thought it would not work, but to my surprise, it filtered my water down to the advertised rejection rate. My extremely hard city water had a TDS of 300, and this got it down to 30. I have an iSpring system, and the 1812 seems to fit and work the same as the other RO membrane I got that was sold by iSpring (the Great Well brand). In fact, the iSpring RO membrane I had only lasted a few months, so even if this one only lasts a few months, that's still saving me half my money, since iSpring RO didn't last long anyway.

Better than iSpring brand/system despite my current system with a ...

Dropped my TDS from 340s to 20s to low 30s. Something that never happened with my old Watts brand membrane. Better than iSpring brand/system despite my current system with a total of 4 filters compared to ispring's 5 filter system. Hoping that the results will last.

So far it's working great

I replaced an ispring ro membrane with this brand and so far it's working very well. The total dissolved solid concentration out of my tap is just under 500. After going through the filter, it's 22.

So far so good - apparently a good alternative to iSpring Membrane

I'm running two of these membranes in series (wastewater staging configuration) on a tankless RO system with a 75 psi booster pump (as measured by an inline gauge right in front of the membranes). I have two permanent inline TDS meters installed , one right before the membranes and one right after. Input was ~250 TDS and output was measured at around 9 TDS. That seems to be around 96% to 97% solid rejection rate... which is right around the advertised rate, particularly if accounting for meter error margin. If you run a single membrane system, you can expect slightly better performance. Running membranes in series, like I am, increases output flow and reduces waste water, but does slightly increase the final TDS output since you are running the concentrated wastewater from the first membrane into the second membrane. I don't have anything in place to measure flow rates, but just eyeballing it, it seems these membranes are slightly faster than my previous membranes, which were 200GPD membranes, whereas these are 300GPD membranes. They don't feel 33% faster, but perhaps that will change as the filters are more broken in. For now, they are adequate for kitchen sink use. I usually use iSpring membranes, which gave me nearly identical results. I contacted iSpring to ask them what the difference was between their membranes and this one, and they refused to answer. iSpring membranes are more than double the price of these. I felt like a non-answer was enough of an answer and too... Read More
