Reviews for POWDER BRUSH

People say Elf is really similar to It Brushes For Ulta.

Buy this brush! Your face will thank you.

Love it! I've been slowly transitioning my Ulta makeup brushes to e.l.f. ones and couldn't be happier. My old foundation brush was really starting to wear out, and was shedding bristles by the clump, so out it went. This brush is WONDERFUL. Maybe my skin was just so bummed-out from my scratchy old brush, but in comparison this brush is beyond soft and smooth. I use it for loose powder foundation and have definitely noticed that the powder applies more evenly, which means I'm using less of it each time to make it look right. Yay! It washes nicely and dries quickly--I wash all my brushes about once a week in the morning, and even this one is dry in about twelve hours. It also doesn't leak black dye on my towels, which is always a plus. (Looking at you, Ulta brushes.) Yes, it is a few bucks more expensive than the $3 base price from e.l.f.--but it's worth it. The closest place I can buy e.l.f. products is a Target that's about a $3 metro ride away, so it actually evens out to be cheaper to order it for $5ish with Prime shipping. All in all, well worth the money either way.

Soft&Posh.

e.l.f is vegan and cruelty free which i lOve. The taklon synthetic bristles are so soft. I paid $3.00 for this brush at Walmart and $38.00 for It velvet line brush at Ulta. I like both brushes and the only difference besides price is that the e.l.f bristles are longer and the handle rubber grip is a little less sturdy. I am very impressed with e.l.f. The It brush bristles are more dense&compact. They almost look identical. It has soft bristles,no fall out or shedding. Perfect for the$ and gets the job well done.. When on a budget i buy these& also to take for travel use. If i lose them i won't be too disappointed and can afford more at this rate. Buy e.lf. and save $$$!

The Magic Brush

I bought this a month ago and I am so so happy with the outcome even though it's a powder brush I also use it for my foundation and it gives me the best airbrush look... I call it the magic brush.❤❤❤❤

Good to apply powder on more specific angles

Great shape to use for powder to seal concealer under eyes without getting powder on eyeliner!

Really good for airbrushed blush

I use this on my cheekbones with blush. I use the tarts Amazonian clay blush, but am thinking about buying some elf blushes in the future. If you use a patting motion, it makes blush look so airbrushed. I've had the brush for 4 years and I get compliments on my makeup (I know it's the blush).

Super soft

Super soft, cleans easily, and applies well. No complaints, especially for the price.

So soft

The quality of this brush was shocking. I wasn't expecting a lot, I just needed a new brush, but I love it so much more than my old $35 brush. My loose powder goes on flawlessly.

Repurposed

I know it says power brush but I love using it as a foundation brush.

Great quality as always!

Love it for buffing in my mineral powder... this brush gives it a lighter application than a dense brush.

Highly recommended!

Best brush fir the money! I bought this one for my adult daughter after she asked what I used. Her husband noticed how natural she looked. Works with loose or pressed powder. Won't disturb liquid foundation. Easy to clean.

Great for powder foundation

I had this brush unopened in my stash for about three years bc had planned on using it with liquid foundation but have a few other flat top brushes so I hadn't gotten around to it until recently I've started wearing mineral powder foundation and the other night I decided to try this brush with a new loose mineral powder foundation and it's perfect, very soft but dense enough to provide coverage, it left my skin looking smooth and practically flawless, I also used it pinched it to carve out my contour with a brightening powder and it worked great for that too. This is a very good multitask face brush and the price is right. A new staple in my makeup routine.

Liquid Brush

I use it for my liquid foundation, it applies great and it's easy to blend. I've had it for years. it's also great for bronzer and blush.

Best powder brush ever

I've used this brush for years, I keep one at home and one in my gym bag make up kit. I've used more expensive brushes and they've ended up shedding. The price is amazing, and the bristles are the perfect shape, feel and softness for perfectly applying face powders be it powder base or setting powders! This is the best brush and I recommend it to friends, and have even bought them for gifts. I end up with an "air-brushed" matte look when my make-up is complete.

Re Purchasing After Years

I have been using this same brush for probably 6 years and I love it. I use it only for applying liquid foundation/ BB cream and it's perfect. I use light coverage foundations and it leaves an even finish. I like it better than my beauty blender as I feel the beauty blender lifts the foundation off if you stipple too much. This brush applies everything perfectly. It does shed but that doesn't bother me. I am repurchasing because it's so inexpensive and I feel like it's time to start fresh again.

Does the Job

not really much can go wrong with a powder brush. although it is has never had hairs falling off and mines an older one. still in tact! Sometimes I use it for blush too.

Great for mineral powder

I use this for mineral powder and love it! The kind I use comes in tiny containers, so the stiffness that others have mentioned gives more control over how much product gets onto the brush.

Great brushes for the price

I use everyday for a smooth application of make-up and blush

May technically be a powder brush but...

I have used this brush for foundation and foundation only. I have found that my more dense designated foundation brushes have soaked up my product, therefore wasting product. But not this one, not only does is not soak up the product but it blends out my foundation like a DREAM. Elf brushes are completely underrated. You can't beat the price either. Highly recommend!!

Foundation use

I use this brush for my cream foundations and it blends like a dream. I've never used it for powder but for foundations it's a go!

My Go-To Brush for Powder Foundation!

The ELF Powder Brush is amazing for powder foundation and blush. The description mentions its usage for wet products but I've yet to try that. One thing I love about this brush is that you can build up the amount of coverage you want on your face from light to medium-full coverage depending on the brand of foundation you're using. Did I mention how sturdy this brush it? It can withstand vigorous washing with dish soap and hot water. 10/10 would recommend this!!

One of my favs!

I love this brush so much...when I first started wearing makeup I bought all kinds of expensive brushes and one day I decided to try this one and I fell in love...after 2 years the handle came out but I still use it and have a few back up just in case

a longtime favourite

I've used this brush for many years and still love it. I've tried other powder bushes but none are as good as this for me, which is surprising for such an inexpensive brush. I can't lie around year two the glue keeping the top on came off so I've taped it but it's never shed on me. I use this to press powder into my skin and it's really soft and even.

BEST.BRUSHES.PERIOD!

Okay, I classify myself as a brand buyer because as a woman in my forties, my skin needs better quality products. That being said, these "Budget" brushes are phenomenal! They apply your makeup effortlessly! They do not lose bristles! They are super soft! What's not to love about that?! I will always, always, always choose Elf brushes!
