Great for the price - NOT kitchenaide

This is really great for mixing small quantities. It’s not a kitchen aid mixer so it doesn’t do a super blended or quick mix, but if you give it some time it’ll get through just about anything. The key is to move the bowl under the mixers so that it gets all the ingredients. For the price it’s a great addition to the kitchen, and considering we don’t do a lot of baking it’s perfect for us. You could mix maybe one box of cake batter in the bowl.

Great Stand Mixer for the Price

Not sure why this little mixer has received some bad reviews. Were these people expecting to receive a $300 Kitchenaid? Well.... it is not a $300 Kitchenaid, but this little stand mixer delivers a powerful little punch that is great for everyday, standard mixing. My old Kitchenaid was fabulous, but it was heavy, and getting to be a burden in my older age. I purchased this when it died out. This is very light, and I can carry it around with no problem. This may only last me a few years (who knows, maybe more), but I will enjoy using it just like my old Kitchenaid until the very end, and then I will just have to purchase another. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a stand mixer on a budget. Great little item!

Cute retro looking mixer, good to start with if new to baking

Works well for the price. I wanted a KitchenAid and had to settle for this but I’m not too disappointed. It comes with regular beaters and dough hooks, 6 settings (I think) and a large bowl. The mechanisms were a little confusing at first but I figured them out easily. The bowl has a feature that allows you to have the option to settle your beaters smack in the middle of the bowl or scrape the side which will cause the bowl to rotate by itself. It’s good for baking where you have to “add while mixing”. There’s also a mechanism in place that allows you to lock the bowl so it won’t wobble out while mixing. The bowl has some screws on the bottom I think so I haven’t washed it in my dishwasher and have only washed it (along with everything else) by hand. It’s a little loud but when you have it going for longer than 40 seconds it becomes easily to tune out. I’ll probably still switch to a KitchenAid and keep this one as a backup to make frosting at the same time or buttermilk/whip cream but it’s a good mixer to start out with if you desperately need on. *EDIT* Have had this Mixer since May of 2019 and it is now Feb 2020. Can say I still use it often and works great! It’s still a little loud but I don’t mind it, I used the dough hooks to make bread & regular beaters for pumpkin bread, homemade buttermilk, brownies etc. works great for all! I’ve used it probably 50 times between then and now and it works well still. Still haven’t gotten my KitchenAid but will make the switch event... Read More

Affordable KitchenAid alternative

This mixer is exactly what we needed. We love to bake sugar cookies and cupcakes for Christmas, Valentines, spring, or bdays. If you need a mixer for occasional baking & don’t want to hold a hand mixer, this is for you. It’s light & small enough to store away. The comments of not mixing on one side is true if you don’t read the instructions. There’s an option to shift the bowl, and you can turn the bowl as shown in the video. It worked great for what we paid. We don’t bake enough for a $200+ mixer. Loved the Tiffany blue color and you can’t beat the price!

Great alternative to hand held mixer

Mixer works great. Not to be confused with kitchenaid. It runs at a very high speed even on a low setting but does a great job of mixing. Suctions to counter well. Love how you can slide the bowl from side to side to mix

Perfect, convenient size!

This was way better than I had hoped for it to be. I purchased it for my mom, who has a hard time mixing things by hand (but always wants to!). I was originally looking at a Kitchenaid one, but neither my mom nor I knew where she would put that one. So we decided against it and opted for the small Dash version. While I will say that it is small, it’s not too small, it’s perfect. Especially if you don’t cook or bake for a whole army.

Great price great item

I like it. Couldnt splurge on a kitchenaid and i also wanted my kids to be able to use it. Its pretty much a glorified hand mixer. I mean that in a positive way. Ive made so many things with this and have not had any issues

Low setting is fast, but this mixer does it's job

I ordered this mixer in order to upgrade from my mother's old hand mixer that just won't die. Be aware that the bowl will not spin if there is not enough resistance (i.e. wet and dense ingredients) in the mixing bowl. So, when mixing flour, sugar and baking powder/soda, you will need to turn the bowl manually. I don't recommend using the mixer to do this though...even the low setting spews flour dust everywhere because it's so fast. Use a hand whisk instead. Once you add the moist ingredients this problem is eliminated. Lesson learned. Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this mixer. It is smaller than a kitchenaid mixer, but still plenty large enough for a normal batch of cookies or brownies.

Good product for the price

I purchased this product in December of 2016. It died on me in November 2019. I didn't use it daily, but used it weekly. It was a great stand mixer for the price. I didn't expect it to last as long as it did for the price so I think it was a good value overall! I'm upgrading to a KitchenAid or I would buy another one.

Basic stand mixer

This is a basic stand mixer that we purchased as a secondary stand mixer. It works reasonably well, but what you’d expect from a mixer at this price point. It’s not a kitchenaid, but it’s also 1/10 the price.
