Perfect for PS4 Control - Similar height to KontrolFreek

I accidentally bought these because I thought they were designed for PS4 controls. Turns out they fit perfectly! The trick to putting these on is to hook the lip of the grip on the edge of the thumb-stick, then push down and twist. It pops right on. Here are some numbers: Short Grips: +5 mm (concave); +6 mm (convex) Tall Grips: +11 mm (concave); +13 mm (convex) ************************* VS ****************************** FPS Freek CQC: +6.1 mm (concave) FPS Freek SCAR/INFERNO: +10.1 mm (concave) FPS Freek SNIPR: +13.7 mm (convex) FPS Freek VORTEX: +6.1 mm (left-concave), +12.6 mm (right-convex) As far as the numbers go, they're almost the same as the Kontrol Freeks grips - give or take a few millimeters.

Just as good as KontrolFreek & the silicone ones sold at GameStop but you get more for your money...

I’ve used KontrolFreek & GameStop’s grips over the years & many of KFs are more a hindrance than a help for the FPS games I enjoy, can’t figure out why, but it is what it is. GS’s silicone grips are great but you only get 2 sets & I tend to wear them mofos down quickly. I saw that these were similar & gave them a try & I love them. As I sometimes get a tad “overzealous” (mashy thumbs of RAGE!), I will use a dot of FunTak to help keep them on & so far, so good. If you like the silicone grips that offer both high & low elevation (I use low on L & high on R thumbstick), these are definitely worth trying before shelling out for the more expensive ones & you may, like myself, find they’re better than those.

Better than KontrolFreeks

These look better, feel better, will probably stay on better than KontrolFreeks, they're cheaper, and you get four pair (two pair convex, two pair concave) instead of just one. I got my nephew a pair of Kontrolfreek Galaxy's for Christmas. He loves them but they would fall off sometimes at the worst moments. I looked into getting myself a pair for some of the shooters and racing games I play and I came across these. These attach by a rubber lip that completely surrounds the top of the thumbstick, whereas the Galaxy's "clip" on via three or four plastic clips, which cause them to fall off if you're too aggressive with them. I don't think these Foamy Lizards are coming off unintentionally. The only minor issue, which I don't really care about so much, is that it looks like they might attract dust and lint. Overall a great product and a huge value over Kontrolfreeks

This is the one to have in my opinion

I had previously purchased the KontrolFreek grips from a GameStop and hated them. I couldn't keep them on my controller. These on the other hand are fantastic. You put it around one end of the controller's grip and then give it a little twist and it pops right on and it is not going to go ANYWHERE. The material is a semi-soft silicone rubber and you get 2 sets of high-rise grips, one set concave the other convex. The concave ones are covered in grippy bumps and feel fantastic, I use it on my right stick. You also get 2 sets of low-rise convex and concave which I use on my left stick. What you get for 10 bucks is really impressive, totally happy with my purchase thus far. If anything changes, I will update my review.

Better Than KontrolFreek

Just straight up, I prefer these thumb grips over any other. KontrolFreek thumb grips lock onto the thumb stick using solid plastic hook-things. They eventually wear down and eat away at the natural grip on the thumb stick, until there's nothing there for the thumb grip to hold onto and your controller is ruined. AceShot thumb grips are made of silicone that stretch around the thumb stick to fit, meaning no wear on the natural grip of the controller. You can keep your favorite controller pristine while still having superior grip. Also, the smaller, low profile AceShot grips are excellent if you don't like the extra height of the taller ones. They're even more low profile than KontrolFreek's shorter grips. Last but not least, the price. At KontrolFreek, you least you can pay for some grips is $10.99 (if you get some of the discounted ones). I know it's only a $1 more than the AceShot grips (which are $8.99 at the time of this review), but you only get 2 thumb grips in an order of KontrolFreeks! One small, and one tall. In a single order of the AceShot thumb grips, you get 8 thumb grips total! 4 low profile and 4 tall of varying grip patterns. You can't beat that! In summary, AceShot thumb grips are cheaper and just better overall compared to other thumb sticks. They won't destroy your controller, and you get more options for mixing up the kind of grips you need for whatever game you're playing.

Better than those other guys

These are my favorite. I do not mess with KontrolFreek anymore because they RUIN the joystick with the mount. These are a high quality silicon plastic all the way through so it sits on the joystick comfortably and without destroying the stockpad. 100 percent happy with this.

Better than KontrolFreek?

Okay so I really like these. More so than KontrolFreek. They're super comfortable and fit my elite series 2 thumbsticks very well and they're pink! Just buy these instead honestly. You get more, they feel better, and they're hella cute! They are a smidgen higher than the kontrolFreek thumbsticks but you honestly don't notice. I'll be purchasing more of these for my other controllers.

Nice set gives me options

I wish there was a height in between the two provided, but the low one has a nice soft grip for long gaming sessions. These are replacing the harder rubber caps from KontrolFreek on my non-FPS controller.
