I usually use Lancome Hypnose Drama and this is just as good for half the price. The brush is different, it's straight and thicker, but it's just as good.

Fabulous
I've been using expensive mascaras for years - Dior, Armani, Victoria Beckham, Lancome, etc. Someone recommended this and I thought - what the heck, it's so cheap and if it doesn't work I'll throw it away. Ladies - stop wasting your money and buy this. It's just great at building and also separating your lashes so they look full. It won't disappoint!

Really awesome product at a very good price
I usually use Lancome Monseur Big decided to try Loreal for fun. What a surprise. I will be using ONLY this in the future. Does not clump goes on beautifully and easy to remove, as a plus, I ended up having a tear outburst did not look like a halloween prop! Great product> Highly recommend!

I've been using lancome Hypnose for about 15 years. I wont use any other mascara. A friend told me about this amd I LOVE. Works just like Hypnose for a fraction of the price! The wand is built like Hypnose Drama (not my favorite) but the formula is like regular, old school Hypnose. I'll be buying this from now!

Best Mascara I've Tried Yet
To start, I've tried many high end mascaras such as Lancome Hypnose Drama, Benefit They're Real and Rollerlash, Too Faced BTS, Urban Decay Perversion etc, but none of them compare to this mascara. I have monolids so I have the straight Asian lashes that never holds a curl no matter what... until I used this mascara. This mascara volumizes, lengthens, and holds a curl for most of the day with minimal to no flaking/smudging despite the Texas heat, humidity and my oily lids. Example, this mascara survived a trip to the zoo in sunny 90+ degree weather with high levels of humidity and sweat. Not even one flake or smudge! Even when I don't curl my lashes, this mascara makes it look like I did. Also, it's pretty easy to remove with my holy grail Lancome Bi-facil eye makeup remover, but other oil-based removers should do the same job. I suggest using a cotton pad w/ remover and letting the remover sit on the lashes for a bit to help break it up so you won't have to rub your eyes too much if you have difficulty. To sum it up, I really love what this mascara does for my lashes and for the price. Update #2 5/6/2018: Bought this mascara for the third time and product has stayed consistent in performance as the first and second tube. However, I must note that at least for me, the mascara lasted about 4-5 months before starting to clump and dry out (dipping into the mascara 2 times every use). LOVE IT
I used to use only Lancome mascaras until this one came along. my eyes are very sensitive so I was nervous at first as I had issues before with drugstore mascara. this one does not have fragrance, did not irritate my eyes, holds up pretty well throughout the day and rarely flakes (the waterproof version does flake a little). I do have to take a lot of product off the wand before applying to barely have some on the brush, otherwise it clumps my lashes together and becomes too heavy. I've repurchased this item a couple of times, use it everyday and have even bought some as gift. everybody loves it

Wow!
OMG I am so impressed with this mascara I have tried so many different ones. Lancome grandiose being my favorite but at almost $30 a tube that is a hard pill to swallow! Never again this is even better for a fraction of the cost. I certainly hope it is never discontinued!

close to lancome at a fraction of the price!
it was a nice change not to spend almost $30 on lancome, which i've used most of my life, and get a a mascara that is pretty close to as good. i think i heard about it on the news (they review drugstore products) and i'm glad i gave it a try. i'll certainly buy it again.

long lashes
gives beautiful long lashes. not thick...but very long. my favorite mascara. similar to lancome but at 1 1/4 the price.

One of my favorites!
I had heard of this mascara before and eyed it in my friend's makeup bag while we were getting ready for a wedding together, so when I saw it in a duo set (with the lash paradise primer) on sale at Ulta, I decided "why not?" I've used all sorts of mascara, low end to high end (Maybelline, loreal original voluminous, lancome, too faced, benefit). I like them all for different reasons, but I already have fairly long and curled lashes and rarely wear mascara, so it can be really hard to find one that brings the drama...minus the clumps. This does just that! I apply the primer and while it's still a little wet put this one on too. TONS of volume and length, maintains my natural curl, doesn't flake, and is easy to take off. What more could you ask for?

My favorite
I love this mascara. It's the only one I buy. I used to buy more expensive mascara but found this works as good, if not better for me. I used Lancome before and no offense to Lancome or people who love their mascara (I was one for decades) this is like Toyota and Lexus. L'oreal being Toyota and Lancome is Lexus. Essentially the same product just packaged and marketed a bit differently.

I like it better than better than sex
I have used all the prestige brands of mascara, this one is better, I have more control and less clumping than better than sex. I use the voluminus primer with it, which I like better than lancome btw. This mascara lasts all day but it comes off with two cotton balls moistened with eyemakeup remover.

Best Mascara BY FAR!
I've tried Lancome, Better than sex, Clinique, Butter London, Urban Decay...and this is the Best by Far! It Thickens- nice volume. It does flake but def not worse than all these others and also def less than most of them. This is Great- Seriously.

INCREDIBLE
this mascara is the best I believe I have ever tried. It lengthens, volumizes, and defines. I have tried the too faced better than sex, lancome monsier big, and the benefit bad gal bang, this mascara is like an awesome combo of all three. If you are wondering if this is a dupe for the better than sex mascara, it is, but better. the formula is not as dry as too faced, it lengthens more, it doesn't clump as easily, it volumizes more, it defines more. Do yourself a solid and buy this mascara.

Omg......AMAZING
GURL. I have been on the search for my holy grail mascara and have tried Tarte, YSL, Marc Jacobs, Lancome, Too Faced and more. I'm telling you, run to get this mascara. I was completely amazed with this product! I have been "against" drug store mascara because I fully believed that luxury mascara was so much better and had a better payoff. I was wrong. Do you and your lashes a favor and pick this up!

Definitely a good purchase
I have always used prestige mascara's and decided to try this one on the recommendation of a friend. So creamy and rich - just like my UD or Lancome. Very impressed! May have found my new favorite!
