Reviews for Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation
People say Loreal Paris is really similar to Lancome.
I tried a sample of the Lancome Teinte Idole recently and wanted to purchase a bottle, but it was too expensive. Thought I would give this a try and I'm content! The staying power isn't the same as the Lancome one, but it's pretty darn close. It's a smooth, liquidy, medium-weight foundation with medium coverage that can be sheered out or built up to full with a satin-matte, skinlike finish. It lasts a good 7-8 hours before I feel the need to touch up and transfers less than my other foundations do when I wear a mask. Literally everything I want in a foundation (I am super fair w warm undertones, wear shade 400, and have combo skin w oily t zone) The only issues I have are two ingredients- the high amount of denatured alcohol which can be drying, so this won't be an everyday product for me. And it is heavily fragranced. Thankfully the fragrance isn't disgusting (a light floral?), and it disappears quickly upon application. But it isn't necessary and I wish they would remove it. Otherwise, I've found my new drugstore favorite!
I wanted to replace my expensive Lancome foundation! This product is even better than I expected!
Better than expensive brands!
So I've struggled to find a good foundation. I bought 2 from Lancome that were highly rated and they were AWFUL on my skin! I wasn't expecting to love this one but I do! I don't have texture between my eyebrows like a lot foundations create, and it looks just like my skin. It's actually "fresh" looking. It also doesn't slide around on my face or look patchy. I'm definitely happy with this. I haven't bought a drug store foundation in years! I have fair skin and it's dry, but somehow gets oily on my forehead. I used a moisturizer underneath and then a Smashbox primer and it worked great!
Blown away at the oil at bay!
My holy Grail WAS Lancome Tient Idole. I tried this on a whim and am blown away at how it controls my very oily skin. I live in South Louisiana with this oily skin so it isn't pretty at times, especially in summer. I keep looking in the mirror and sincerely can't believe the oil is not breaking through needing me to powder or blot away oil. I am even pressing toilet paper on my oiliest areas and it is so much less oil and not near as much transfer as my Lancome. I am highly impressed. And it feels like I am wearing NOTHING!! I touch my face and it does not have that slightly tacky feeling I usually have. I am completely sold!
I'm honestly shocked!

PERFECT FOR DRY, SENSITIVE SKIN !!!
This loreal infallible foundation beats my Lancome teint idole, estee lauder cashew, Mac, and Maybelline fit me 420!! Dont ask why i have 10 foundations lol. This foundation is smooth, has build able coverage, has spf 25, lasts all day and night, and comfortable on my dry, sensitive skin!
Doubtful but now convinced
I was doubtful at first, but I love it! Pretty close to the equivalent of Lancome or Estee Lauder foundations and for a fraction of the price.
I'm so mad I did not use this a long time ago! Best foundati
I am absolutely blown away! I'm so mad that I didn't try this earlier... I have purchased all high-end foundations including Estee Lauder, Giorgio Armani luminous foundation, lancome; all their products, Clinique, IT cosmetics, Nars, you name it. I did not purchase this at Ulta but I did this at the drugstore and I liked it so much I thought I would write a review because I do purchase everything from ULTA. this foundation is full coverage, one coat does the job! My skin does not dry out like every foundation that I use does because my skin is so bad, I have redness, moles, freckles, age spots, wrinkles... I am so blown away by this foundation I am so mad I've spent so much hundreds of dollars on other stuff. my skin is literally flawless and it stays! I did what I should not have done, but I needed to know so I actually slept all night in it and I woke up and nothing even budged! Normally the makeup would be separating and get blotchy and cakey... Thank you thank you thank you Loreal! I am forever a fan.
Best Foundation I've Ever Used
This is by far the best foundation I have ever used! Neither matte nor dewy, the finish strikes the perfect balance between the two. Literally lasts 24 hours and provides smooth, glowing, medium to full coverage, with not a ton of product. Easily applies well with either a brush or beauty blender. Buildable, breathable and skin-friendly with SPF and a healthy shade range. I've bought three shades for winter, spring, and summer! I've used Chanel, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Armani, Dior, Shiseido, Bobbie Brown, Revlon, MAC, Bare Minerals, etc...you cannot find a better foundation than this at ANY price point.
Better than High End
Honestly have tried so many foundations that includes Becca, Estee Lauder, Lancome and etc. This beats them all especially for the price. Does not transfer at all and stays on for a very long time. I would compare this to Estee Lauder's double wear. Those who have dry skin should moisturize well. The only complaint I have is the really strong smell at first i didn't mind but now it starting to bother me but of course still worth it.
Lightweight, great-looking foundation!
As I get older, I find foundations that used to look good on me, no longer do.. so I search for new ones, and am usually disappointed. L'Oreal's Infallible 24Hr Fresh Wear foundation is an unexpected, huge win for me. I had previously been using Lancome's Teint Idole 24 Hr Long Wear foundation in the shade 110 Ivoire C. In L'Oreal's Infallible 24 Hr Fresh Wear, I'm the shade Porcelain. This foundation beats my Lancome foundation hands down. It feels SO much better on my skin, looks great, costs way less, and actually stays in place with no transferring. Lancome's foundation transferred with just a light touch to the face. That drove me crazy! I DO sweat, and DO blow my nose... so that's a big deal for me. I have mature skin that leans dry, and this does not settle into fine lines or look cakey. I am cool-toned, and have gotten a lot of redness as I've gotten older... so I really need my foundation to cover everything if I want to wear color on my face. I normally wear a color canceler under my foundation for that, and it layers under this foundation well. I HIGHLY recommend this foundation to anyone searching for a new one. I can't imagine you being disappointed.
Makes your skin look FLAWLESS
My pores look amazing in this and my acne is covered to jesus. Has a light scent but not too overwhelming. Coverage is medium to full and very buildable. This foundation is as good is my Lancome and Dior ones.
Like a lot of people, I started to seeing positive reviews on the foundation so I was eager to try it. I have been on a fabulous foundation search for a few months as needed some alternative to my Estee Lauder for winter. This foundation is so great! It stays on and helps keep my oils as at Bay as possible as I am very oily. I've recently tried with the hourglass primer and even more impressed. The coverage is medium so if I have angry blemishes, I use MUF camo concealer. But otherwise the foundation does a great job!!! Very impressive and it's drugstore!! Frankly in my opinion it beat out the Dior forever, too faced, lancome, and Maybelline fit me... again just for my skin. The rest of my makeup blends great with this.
Best Affordable Foundation I've Ever Tried
This foundation, in my opinion, is a dupe for the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Liquid foundation, which is my favorite foundation EVER, but due to the price tag I only buy it like once a year and make it last as long as physically possible. This Infallible Fresh Wear foundation is incredible. It is lightweight, provides a natural matte finish on my skin, does not cling to my dry patches or enhance any lines or texture, and it lasts FOREVER. It is not full coverage but it does build. I find that I prefer to go in with a beauty sponge for the first layer, and then if I need more coverage I go in with a brush in targeted areas (I do not use concealer for spot coverage). I have DRY skin so I HATE setting my face with powder. I do not need to set my face with powder with this foundation. I've been using mostly cream products on my complexion, but when I do use powder blush or bronzer, the product blends out fine on top of this foundation. This stuff lasts forever without needing to be set, it's a miracle! I still like to use a setting spray on top for a little tiny bit more glow, but I could easily not use spray and it would be fine. I am so glad I found a dupe for my favorite foundation at a fraction of the cost!!!
amazing I cant believe it yet
I'm replacing my lancome with this!! thank God the lightest shade is actually light enough for me. I have a hard time finding a shade that's light enough for me, especially with drugstore brand, but this does it. I'm returning my high end foundations and sticking with this
Good for mature skin, good price
I'm 48 years old, my favorite foundation is Lancome Teint Idole but it's pricey. This foundation is extremely similar, applies nicely with a damp beauty blender, medium finish. Lasts a long time and is a good formula for my normal to slightly dry skin— it's hard to find natural looking foundation for older skin. I'm wearing number 430, next time we'll get number 420 because it does dry down slightly darker after applied.
