Reviews for Cuisinart Chef's Classic Enameled Cast Iron 3-Quart Round Covered Casserole, Blue

People say Cuisinart is really similar to Le Creuset.

Excellent Dutch oven. I love it.

No need for a Le Creuset expensive version. I grew up with a le creuset in my mothers kitch. It was the most used accessory in her very well instrumented kitchen. She was an extraordinary baker and cook. My brother inherited it. So I needed to get a Dutch oven of my own. No difference between and the very expensive 7 qt Le Creuset

Cute l'il pot

This 3-qt pot is a great pot for a one-man, cooking pot. Two things I would have preferred: 1) Straight sides are better than the sloped sides it has. 2) The 3-qt is smaller than I thought. Would like a 3.5- or 4-qt, but they cost more for seniors living on fixed incomes. I actually wanted a Le Creuset pot, but that company prices their pots at outrageously high prices which cost 2 arms, 2 legs, and the souls of all your children. Had to 'settle' for Cuisinart as it costs less than Le Creuset. Actually, I like and buy Cuisinart products. However, I do like the homey, country, creme color (a bit like biscuits and gravy color - love biscuits and sausage-gravy). Cannot wait to cook in the new pot. The two handles make this pot perfect to PU, especially for arthritic hands, thumbs, and wrists. Gave only 4 stars because of slanted sides.
