Performs brilliantly!!
So I have been wanting a Le Creuset dutch oven but I couldn't justify the expense, then I found this dutch oven by Uno Casa and decided to give it a try. I am in love! It's beautiful right out of the box in this shade of red. It is very heavy and appears to be very well made. I downloaded the free cookbook right away and found the recipes they offer to look like they're easy to make. I decided to go with a different recipe I have for a Lemon Herb pot roast and pulled out my new dutch oven to make it. In 2½ hours I had an amazing, fork-tender chuck shoulder roast with veg and a delicious au jus. I admit, I was really worried when I added the vegetables to the pot after cooking the meat for 2 hours; it wasn't tender yet, and I had no hopes at all that the potatoes and veggies would be soft by the time the ringer on the timer pinged. I was so happy to be completely wrong! Everything was delicious!! And I couldn't believe how amazing it came out just being cooked on the gas stove, not in the oven or crock pot. I found my favorite new piece of crockery and I didn't have to plunk down a couple hundred dollars for it! If you are like me and dreaming of owning a Le Creuset, skip that and get this instead. You won't regret it!

Beautiful!
I needed a Dutch oven style pan for my induction range. I love Le Creuset but not the price! In a side by side comparison, you can’t tell the difference. This product appears well made and cooks beautifully. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy this brand again!
