Reviews for Wrangler Authentics Men's Classic 5-Pocket Regular Fit Flex Jean

People say Wrangler Authentics is really similar to Levis.

Outstanding jeans

I’ve worn Levi’s for years. But the fit was never quite right. I decided to try Wranglers, and I was pleasantly surprised that 35W was available. I’ve always been between 34 (too snug) and 36 (too big). I purchased 35Wx32L and the fit was perfect before and after washing. The denim is slightly stretchy (flex) and the color was just right for me. I’ll be wearing these jeans quite a bit before summer arrives, and I’m very happy with my purchase!

Better Than I Thought

Y'know, when I was a kid, Wrangler jeans were "lame," just one step above Toughskins, which were considered to be the absolute UN-coolest jeans a boy could wear. I bought these for work (construction) because I don't want to shred another pair of $40 jeans (lookin' at you, Levi's). Maybe it's because I'm older and not as bony as I used to be, but the fit of these is a revelation. They're just super-comfortable and they let me roll around in the muck, bending like a pretzel whenever I need to. Great bang for buck, too.

Great quality at an amazing price!

My fiance loves these! He wears his Jean's to the ground, and always has eventual tears from working a lot in them. He loves the stretchy fabric and feels it gives him that little bit of extra stretch that was lacking in his other pairs. His favorites were Levi's, but I may have changed his mind :) cant beat the price at all. I think this is the perfect price for a pair of Jean's and really don't understand when they started being priced at no lower than $35 (at least). Great quality, amazing price. I've already bought a second pair for him. Thank you so much. 5+ stars all the way

More Comfortable than Levi's

Brett Favre finally convinced me to try Wrangler. I'd been wearing Levi's for years, but I feel like Levi's are overpriced now. Wrangler jeans are more reasonably priced, and now that I'm wearing them: wow, they're definitely more comfortable! The Levi's always felt too tight in the thigh; not so with Wrangler. In addition, the Wrangler denim is softer (less stiff) and more comfortable than my Levi's. Wrangler is my go-to brand from now on.

Great buy

Bought for husband as work pants, he is an electrician engineer and sometimes works in the field (he is a Levi’s man) we live in a tropical, hot environment His Levi’s were wearing out quickly and also fitting much differently than in years past. These were a great price and got good reviews so I purchased a pair for him to try out,,, he was hesitant but now loves them I have to purchase more. They hold up and wash well. Keep their shape...

More valuable than Levi's 514 jeans

At $25 / pair, these use noticeably thinner material than Levi's 514 jeans but at half the price ($55) you can't go wrong. They feel cheaper but I've torn plenty of Levi's just from bending over so clearly feel isn't everything

Incredibly comfortable pants with a great fit.

These pants wash and dry so quickly and I maybe a little lighter weight than regular Levi’s or even regular wranglers. Great fit and a little bit of a stretch.

Everyday jean for work or play

Was looking for an Jean that was comfortable, son used to wear Levi's and will never again, these are his favorite Jean's now, bought him 2 pair to see how he liked them and had me get 2 more.

like Wranglers

They fit right, look good, and feel good, not as stiff as levi's. Also, you can get a variety of lengths. Not so tall only 5"10." So, the right length makes it easy for me.

Second Purchase

This is the 2nd time I purchased these jeans. Price was the draw. Are these jeans excellent? No, they aren't. But I didn't have the issues other customers had with their purchases. Do they fit well? Yes they do but they aren't perfect. For less than $20.00 I can live with that. Not to get all that political but the days of perfect fit Levis, Wrangler or Lee are gone and gone forever. Sizing will always be an issue now that clothing is made outside the U.S. But for less than $20.00 Im okay with these jeans until I experience the same downside some other people have had.

I'm Done with the Other Brand!

These flex jeans from Wrangler are simply the best for comfort and everyday use. After 30 years, I'm done with you, Levi's.

Great cut for thick dudes

I love these jeans. I’m 210 lbs, 5’ 11”. Thick thighs. The relaxed fit wranglers sag in the butt immediately even after washing. The regular fits are slightly snug as soon as they come out of the dryer but fit great after I wear them for a few minutes. They are more like a Levi’s relaxed fit jean, without the supper baggy thighs that Levi’s have. I have these in black and they have zero stretch and they are a little tight but comfortable. The blue pair I bought have 2 percent spandex and I like that fit slightly more, but after a few wears without washing the butt gets a little saggy. Overall, these are my favorite cut jeans for my body shape.

Durable

Wranglers belt loops and zippers last much longer than Levi's.

Fit great and are my favorite jeans

These jeans fit great otherwise I would stop buying them. I own several of these jeans. As they get stained from work or other reasons I replace them with the same jeans. I like the deep front pockets. I am surprized how much stuff I have in my pockets at the end of the day. These are a great replacement for Expensive Levis.

Good pants.

These are my favorite pants on Amazon so far. They have a nice stretchiness to them that makes them comfortable. I like these more than the Amazon basics pants and find these to be more comfortable and nicer feeling. Levis are my favorite pants overall, but I can't always justify the price. For the price, these things are amazing. I've bought them like 3 separate times now and they're always nice and comfortable.

Great jeans for tall folks

I am 6'8" and usually wear a 34-38 or 36-38 (to get length). These come extra long and I can role the cuff. Nice fit with a little stretch to them. I prefer Wranglers over Levi's for extra long legs. After a couple of washings there is no shrink at all.

wrangler jeans --- a good fit, right price and they last

Right price, size, and quality. I wear jeans a lot, and am happy with the Wrangler brand now, have switched from Levi's.

Handsome and humble jeans for the handsome and humble man in your life.

Great deal and great jeans. I normally get LEVI's when I can but these are excellent. In fact, the best Wrangler jeans I've ever seen. Deep pockets and fit great. Looks great. Great looks. Let me level with you, I'm a handsome man and as a handsome man, I need a handsome pair of jeans. Jeans that accentuate my handsomeness. Did I also mention that I'm humble? A lot more humble than you are. And these jeans show the world, hey, I may be handsome but I'm also humble. Put a shirt and some work boots and you've got jeans that say, "I make the median salary and I don't care because I'm good looking and you should be too." With me it's all about vintage. Vintage strat. Vintage amp. Vintage jeans. Pork and beans. Jeans that tell the world -- Look, it may be 2018 but, to me, it's 1955 and I'm a handsome man. You can either get on board or go corduroy and if you go corduroy, get out of my way because I'm a handsome man and I don't go for those shenanigans. I suppose you could wear a sports jacket and a tie with these pants if you're a cool teacher or civil engineer out in the field. But if you do, keep a 5-O'clock shadow, because these jeans demand it. Yes, these are a good pair of jeans that will accentuate your handsomeness, wholesomeness and humility. I would not recommend these to someone vain.

Very comfortable jeans!

I like the "feel" of this particular jean material, solid but comfortable, better "feel" than Levis..

Probably buy 2" less than you think

When I became disabled, I got fat quickly. My 38" Levi's soon were a marvel of engineering just able to button (With much effort). They finally succumbed and the button fell to the floor. I reluctantly bought the 42" and they were too big. Washing did nothing. Bought the 40" and they were just kind of big... It makes me feel a little better, but something's wrong. Buy two inches smaller than you think. These give in the waste, the Levi's didn't, so use this information at your on peril. They are really nice, though. Seriously, if you think you're a 38, buy a 36. You're not going to listen anyway...

My New Stretchy Pants

Tried jeans on when I first received them. They were very loose around the waist; ordered size 36, felt like 38. Then I washed them prior to wearing to compare to any shrinkage and to remove any excess dye. After washing there was no difference in sizing hence no shrinkage. The pants were very loose around the waist. If I were to reorder, I would order 34 instead of 36. As for the material, this is definitely a thinner denim than other Wrangler or Levi jeans. If you live in the south or southwest this may be a plus. If you live in the north, you may prefer a heavier denim in the winter. I will say the jeans are very comfortable. For the price, I am very satisfied and most likely will order more, but like others have mentioned, I might order the next size smaller in the waist.
