Magic

My daughter hated having her arms strapped down with traditional swaddles and was constantly fighting to get them out or fighting us at bedtime to put them in. Enter this swaddle which was the solution to all our dreams! Almost instantly she went to sleeping through the night! Love the transitional quality of these sleepers as well, as they grow with your baby. Our baby just started rolling over, so now we can make these last a bit longer with the ability to have her hands out!

My preferred swaddle

My baby loves it because it's arms-up, which he prefers, I like that when he's ready we can release his arms more, but right now we keep them bound. I also like that it's a zip up. As compared to swaddleme and halo, Velcro will startle him. Plus the zipper is on both ends to make for easy changing. I dream feed him in the swaddle and put him right back down and it works more often than not.

Love this swaddle!

My little guy LOVED his Halo swaddle. But knowing that we are getting close to rolling over I wanted to start the transition out of a swaddle sooner rather than later to give some leeway time. We used the Love to Dream swaddle first and he wasn’t a fan. I don’t think he liked that his arms were stuck in the same position. So we decided to give this a try. He LOVED it! The first night was a slight adjustment and he required a few extra crib visits (he usually sleeps through the night) but was quickly rocked back to sleep. After the first night he began sleeping through the night again. Two weeks after we started to use it and he has fully transitioned to using the swaddle as a regular sleep sack. It’s soft, so far durable, and fits very well. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this swaddle.

Will use from day 1 next baby

My baby is 8wks old and 10 pounds. We just stopped using the halo sleep sack swaddle a week ago. We had tried using it with arms out but she would flail them around and wake herself up. Also tried the love to dream but she wasn't as comfortable in it. This transitional swaddle sack is great! She can move her arms around plenty but it is slightly restricted so she doesn't wake herself up. It's not tight around the chest either so I feel comfortable using it even if she decides to roll for the first time at night. Neck hole is the perfect size, length wise she definitely has some room to grow in it. Material is soft.

Good dupe for the love to dream swaddle

It works! My daughter was started to fight her regular swaddles and hated having her hands down. The startle reflex was waking her up without it so I ordered this swaddle.

Truly Amazing Product

My baby had slept in the love to dream swaddle but we needed something different as he was trying to roll. I tried the LTD transitional sack but he wasn’t sleeping as good as he had before. In the middle of the night I ordered this and I’m so glad! This sleep sack is the perfect transition. It gives just enough of a halfway point between the total snugness of the LTD and a regular sleep sack. We now have opened the arms up and he’s sleeping great! I’m very picky about fabrics for my kids as they have sensitive skin and this is 100% cotton and very soft. Some reviews say the neck is too tight. I gave it a gentle stretch right out of the dryer and it’s been perfectly fine, looser than a PJ neckline. My only wish for this was that it came in more prints and colors.

Nice quality, too baggy

**UPDATE** We gave this another try now that our baby is bigger. At 11 weeks and almost 12 lbs, the fit is perfect. It allows enough arm movement for him to suck on his hands and we've had no issues with zipper quality. We get a solid 7-8 hours of sleep with this now and we're going to purchase another in the same size. I would recommend this for babies that are in the middle to high end of the 6-14lb weight range. ______________________ I was hoping this would be a good (less expensive) alternative to the love to dream swaddle up, but it doesn't have the same snug fit. This is my 8.5 lb 4 week old in the size small (0-3 mo., 6-14 lb). It is so baggy in the chest that I am worried about it covering his face when we're sleeping. It is very soft and the "chicken wing" arms are perfect, so I'm hoping it will work better when he's a bit bigger.

Affordable BUT too stretchy

This is an affordable option for a transitional swaddle. We were using the Love to Dream arms up swaddle until my son outgrew the largest size (he’s a tall kid), so I was delighted to find the Amazing Baby swaddle with the cuffs and longer body length. I purchased two, and he would wear one for naps and night sleep while I washed the other. So, I washed each swaddle *every other day,* which might be more than other people wash swaddles. We had them for two weeks before I noticed that the fabric was stretching a LOT… the zipper began to bow out (see photo), and the cuffs began to stretch. Recently, my son has been waking at night because his hand has been able to get out of the loosened cuff. It saddens me that frequent washing does affect the stretchiness of the fabric, but I guess it’s not surprising! Obviously, this is a transitional swaddle that is supposed to allow the hands to be free if desired, but I’d like to be able to choose when we do that, versus having the fabric stretch out and allow his little hand to wriggle out. I’m considering sewing a couple snaps on the cuffs that have stretched out, just until he’s ready to transition. Overall, this is a great swaddle, especially for the price! I just wish it didn’t stretch *quite* so much. Thanks, Amazing Baby!

Great option for transitioning

My daughter is 3 months now: I tried all different swaddles and she likes her arms up so landed on nested bean which I found a little to restrictive (although it was the one that helped her to sleep the longest stretches) and then love to dream - which was the best compromise, comfy and took care of the startle reflex still allowing her to sleep some decent hours at a time. But now she’s starting to roll to the sides and we’ve been using the Amazing baby transition sleeping sack for about a month and a half. I really like the material. It doesn’t seem cheap at all (thicker than LTD but softer). And I like that because I can’t put a blanket on top of her so it makes her warm. It also has mittened hands that you can flip open, which I personally love! LTD does a better job with the startle reflex but it’s not as safe since baby starting rolling. I’m overall very pleased with this transitional sleeping sack and recommend it!

Great as a transitional swaddle but wish it had shorter sleeves

I wish the arm portions were shorter like the love to dream. There is too much space and her startle reflex will still wake her up in this swaddle. However, this will be great as a transitional swaddle!
