You could size-down if you want more compression but I chose not to because they don't ride-up and there's a drawstring at the waist. These are my favorite running shorts! The fabric is soft and breathable, while keeping everything from bouncing, the pockets are so useful and the waist height is great for eliminating a possible muffin-top. For reference I wear a size 4 in Lululemon but I'm probably going to stick with CRZ from now on for their comparable products but with a much smaller price tag! Thank you, CRZ!

Worth it!!!
These are my new favorite running/workout shorts!! Way better than lululemon in my opinion; they aren’t as tight squeezing around the waistline, yet they are still high waisted and don’t sag. I ran 4 miles in them and did a full gym workout and they held up perfect.

Love these! The fit and material reminds me of lululemon leggings. I’m wearing a US size medium. I’m a US size 8 in pants.
