ALL of you women of various shades in these photos are BEAUTIFUL!

I must say before exploring and researching these shades that Covergirl Matte Foundation had to offer, I already had my heavy hitter base line with MAC products. I currently have NW58 Powder (darkest shade), NW45 Powder (under eye concealment blender shade) and NW58 Foundation (I love). I always used powder growing up because I thought foundation was for older people and Fashion Fair was the only brand that went further than other companies in black women's complexion at the time. Even then however, not far enough. I've only been wearing foundation now for a year and I love it! And I'm in my forties! Now we're seeing many brands exploring and expanding into darker tones. What made me want to try this brand was because of the matte finish within the foundation. I was definitely intrigued! Now the make up of my skin is very complex. I have oily skin overall but also damaged skin. Very flaky in areas. Dry patches. When skin flakes off, it causes my skin to become discolored. I have darker pigments around my smile lines. Mix of both on my chin. When looking at my photo, you may feel you may not see a difference between the before and after or still see my damaged skin. But I NEVER had smooth, supple skin. So for me, I see a difference with this foundation. And this is just the foundation applied! Not a full workup with powder coverage on top. Just wanting to see how much could this foundation cover of my blemishes and pigment discoloration. It makes me pretty darn happy!! Now I w... Read More

This product is amazing!!

This product is amazing!! I got a lot of compliments .Every body's keeps asking about what kinda foundation that I'm using, " cover girl baby " lol I was a MAC fan for years until they've decided to changed their formula,my usual shade came out totally different, darker..etc . So i decided to give this a try, one of the best things that I have done. I'm on my third bottle. Please don't change anything.

Great foundation

I'm NC42 at Mac and g60 in the Coverfx Power Play Foundation and the T30 Warm Honey works perfectly for me. I would say that while the foundation is certainly not full coverage the coverage is build-able. It really does seem like a dupe for the Coverfx foundation actually. It is great for my oily/combination skin, doesn't cause breakouts and holds up well throughout the day. It doesn't oxidize as well. Overall it is a great foundation.

Excellent coverage for the price

I purchased several foundations and non of them matched my complexion like this one. I usually buy Mac and fashion fair yet they broke me out... I got compliments on my flawless look. I have oily skin and dry chin areas and this worked well... I added a little pressed powder to finish the look.

Holy Grail

Very comparable to a high end foundation. I like it better than my Lancome foundation and this formula is WAY better than Fenty. I cried while wearing it and it held up just fine. Doesn’t transfer much, and I am super oily. I did use it with a smash box oil control primer though. My t-zone still got oily, but the foundation didn’t break up. This is better than the Maybelline Fit Me foundation for sure. *Editing my rating after wearing this for a few weeks. Love this stuff! Melts into the skin and doesn’t look unnatural or cakey. I barely get oily when I use it with CoverFX matte primer. Flawless! No breakouts or skin irritation. Love love love! ***If anyone is NC42 in MAC this is your shade. I literally took my MAC bottle into the drugstore and did some swatches. This was the closest match.
