Burberry Her

Burberry Her is a gourmand scent developed by Francis Kurkdijan. Her is sweet & fruity, and has some depth from vanilla and patchouli notes. I enjoy layering Her with Baccarat Rouge 540 (also developed by Kurkdijan) for even more depth. I have a lot of perfumes, Her isn't a daily go-to, but it has a solid spot in my rotation.

Burberry Her EDP: Frag-Review!

Coming from someone who sells fragrances for a living at a fragrance outlet...: Maison Francis Kurkdjian can do NO wrong! The nose behind the famous Baccarat Rouge 540 is the same perfumer that created this gem. Burberry Her EDP is a soft, airy, sweet berry/strawberry cloud of joy that has diva-mode lasting power!! DO believe the hype on this one. A must-have staple for any fragrance collector. 5 out of 5 stars from this fragrance reviewer! (For more frag reviews, head to my IG: @Its_kammy_tho)

Different Yet Delightful

I was immediately drawn to this perfume upon first smell. I hadn't smelled anything quite like it. The perfumer is Francis Kurkdjian who is responsible for BR 540. I can smell the strawberry and raspberry top notes even after hours of wear. I don't think I smell any lemon or mandarin orange though. Definitely is musky, woody, and ambery, but I don't really get any patchouli which I don't mind anyway. I would describe this as a sweet and deep fragrance. I love wearing it.

OMG This scent is amazing!!

My headline says it all, this scent is deliciously intoxicating and I wish I could give it ten stars. It's a lovely balance of sweet and tart without being too strong either way. I love tart fruit like blackberries, black currant and grapefruit and this definitely leans berry with the subtle, rich, woodsy undertones keeping it from being too juvenile. My husband says it makes him weak in the knees and my male dance instructor goes crazy over it! I get a TON of compliments on it with every wearing and although I have a few other favorites like Chloe Nomade Absolu (fall/winter) and Maison Martin Margiela Under the Lemon Tree (summer), this has become my year around signature fragrance. I really don't care about bottle design in general but it is a pretty shade of blush and the spray mechanism is perfect for allowing a small or full spray so no wasted scent.

I absolutely love this...

I absolutely love this perfume! It is fruity, musky, and a little bit woody. A lot of people say this is an alternative or a dupe for Baccarat Rouge 540, which is not surprising since Francis Kurkdijan was the perfumer that helped create this scent. It is far more fruity that Baccarat, but definitely worth the money. The longevity is great, and personally I think this is a great perfume for every day, all year round.

I love this fragrance....

I love this fragrance. Burberry does it again. It is like a sweeter, but not too sweet, version of Maison Marigela Lipstick on. It lasts way longer as it is eau du parfum. It's a nice pick me up to smell during the day, so light but sweet enough like cotton candy

fresh and floral

The perfumer who created Burberry's "Her Blossom" is Francis Kurkdjian. He also invented my second favorite Burberry perfume - Brit Rhythm for Her Floral. As for "Her blossom" - it is fresh and floral. The aroma reveals on the skin very brightly, but then it becomes quieter and softer. At the beginning, the delicate notes of peony and plum flower with a slight sourness are soloed. The second to enter the composition of mandarin, berries and barely perceptible musk. In the finale, the perfume leaves behind a light spicy pungency of pink pepper with sandalwood. Laconic form, voluminous letters and a gold pendant - such a bottle is pleasant to hold in your hands. Perfume itself is ideal for creating a romantic mood. I recommend to those who miss the smell of a blooming garden. Suitable for those who work in the office or communicate with a large number of people - the aroma envelops, but does not knock down. It creates a mood and causes a smile, helps to relax and feel peaceful. The perfect composition for everyday use! These products were received complimentary for reviewing purposes.

A beautiful low-key fragrance

I've seen a lot of people compare this to Baccarat Rouge 540 and I can see the resemblance but it's not an exact dupe. This perfume WAS created by Francis Kurkdjian, though, so that's probably where the familiarity stems from. Kind of like when you hear a new song and you automatically know the artist (before they even start singing) because the song has a lot of their "signature" beats. But, this fragrance is pretty great, it's a low-key sweet and woody scent. I definitely pick up on the amber notes. I would definitely recommend this fragrance, especially if you are a fan of other Burberry scents or Francis Kurkdjian scents.

Lovely and lasts

Beautiful scent. It's fruity and floral and has a really nice feminine scent that doesn't overwhelm. I also appreciate that it lasts all day! Some have compared this to another trendy and pricey fragrance — and I agree. It's not a complete dupe but it is pretty close. As such it's been sold out buy if you can get your hands on this, buy it! It's really nice for date night or to wear to work. Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum, 2.4 oz. - Maison Francis Kurkdjian

My favorite fragrance so far for winter ❤️

Burberry Her, a new pillar fragrance for the house, comes out in October 2018 and is the first one whose packaging is marked with the new logo. Burberry Her is designed to capture the youthful spirit of the city of London, the creative and eclectic metropolis; a spirit that is lively, adventurous and brave. It is made for those women who feel Londoners at heart. The composition is signed by Francis Kurkdjian as his interpretation of a floral-fruity theme with gourmand undertones. Crushed berry fruit from the top is combined with middle notes of violet and jasmine, based on woods and amber.

Perfect everyday scent

This review is for the actual Burberry Her perfume in the baby pink bottle, not the London Dream one that is in the photo. Baccarat Rouge 540 is my favorite perfume. Burberry Her is made by the same perfumer, Francis Kurkdjian. Baccarat Rouge has a very strong warmth to it. Burberry Her is similar but without that warmth--It is light and airy and universally pleasant. I wear it to work every day. One star removed because I can't smell it on myself by the end of the day, but I love the smell so much it is worth it.

Lovely for Spring - Fall

Burberry Her opens with an intense blast of strawberry. The beginning smells like those old Strawberry Shortcake dolls from the 80's. For the younger kids who may not know that smell, I feel like a strawberry milkshake is a close representation of the Burberry Her opening. I really enjoy the fragrance and it lasts pretty long on my skin and clothes. As it dries down, the berry starts to fade and you get musk and amber. I never picked up any jasmine or violet, but that could be because of the way the fragrance was blended. This is another one created by Francis Kurkdjian and I've heard comparisons between Burberry Her and Baccarat Rouge 540. While they share a similar DNA, Burberry Her is much more playful and fruity. I wouldn't mistake one for the other and they both have their appropriate time and place. Burberry Her is a beautiful scent and I love it as a woman in my 30's. With that being said, I feel like this one is really well suited for a teenager just branching out into more complex fragrances or someone in their 20's. If I were younger, this would definitely be signature scent worthy.
