People say Duco is really similar to Maui Jim.

As good as Maui Jim for a fraction of the price!

I was a little skeptical about ordering these as you never know but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the DUCO products. I bought 2 pairs, slightly different but of equally high quality. They come with a hard shell case and cleaning cloth just like the MJs do. The only "real" difference is they don't have a "designer" brand name on the lens. But who really cares about that? I am so impressed I'm going to buy two more pairs in different colors.

Compared to my Maui Jims... you do the math.

I got these because I didn't want to spend another $300 on Maui Jim. These are definitely polarized, and light weight and sturdy. Something you would expect from a Maui Jim, but get in these! These are not as light weight as my Maui Jim, but that's mainly because the lenses are much bigger on these Ducos, and the side arms are about twice as thick as my Maui Jims. The frame feels like a rugged plastic. That might be the coating that's on the outside, so you don't quite get that 'metallic' feeling. It won't flex out of shape, because you can see the interior cuts of the arms are designed to be strong. (Mechanical design was put into this). They are NOT just straight pieces of material. There's an inner cut to make the arm sturdier. Oakley does something like that too, but on their plastic arms (from the pair that I have). The side hinges allows the side arms to flex in/out like my Maui Jim does. That helps with my big fat head. (I didn't get that with my Oakleys). The lenses are wrap around, like Oakley sunglasses. I'm glad I bought these and saved $$... and then $ome more. So, you get the best of all the top designer glasses, and for this price... I don't mind losing them, scratching them, or sitting on them, etc. (of course, I still take good care of them anyways). I can get 'n' number of these for the price of (1) Maui Jim. You do the math!!!

Dark as I like them - 1 year later and STILL Great!

Great glasses for the price. Tint is comparable to my dark lens Maui Jim Banyans, fit and style is the same, price is much nicer. Great for boating or other activity where they may get lost. - 1 yr+ update I still use these regularly when doing activities where i'd prefer to not lose my Maui Jims. The dark tint is great, scratches aren't an issue. I do keep these in the case when not wearing them, and only clean them with the microfiber lens wipe with alcohol or moist lens wipes. Hinges and bows have held up perfectly, as has the hard case which was included. GREAT Value for the money, I'd be happy if they were twice the price, but at twice the price, I'd never have tried them. I've worn worse Oakley sunglasses in terms of tint, polarization, and clarity. Get a pair for the boat, one for each car, one for biking, etc. Don't fret them being stolen or lost, and less transfer reduces chances of scratching.

Blown Away!

I don't usually write reviews for things I buy on Amazon, but I had to make an exception in this case. I have a pair of $250 Maui Jim's and these Duco's are just as good, if not better. Strong, well constructed, as opposed to junk plastic and polarization is the real deal vs. sun glasses sold for the same price. Even comes with a little screwdriver to tighten screws if/when needed. One of the best buys I've made in a long time.

Dollar for dollar, the best polarized sunglasses I’ve owned.

I have owned countless expensive polarized sunglasses and they’ve served me well for the most part. As a fisherman, who needs glare and UV protection for sight fishing, I am more than impressed with these Duco sunglasses. Not only are they highly effective at blocking glare and UV rays, they are the most comfortable and lightweight sunglasses I’ve ever worn...that is no exaggeration!!. I tend to get heavy use from my sunglasses and end up losing or breaking them. So I started looking at a bunch of cheaper alternatives and WOW!! After 2 full sunny days on the water, I can honestly say, that you just won’t find a better pair of very high quality sunglasses at any price. With all due respect, I’m actually shocked that they are so cheap, yet they block glare, are lighter, and fit/feel better than my $200 -$300 Costa, Maui Jim, and Oakley sunglasses. It’s crazy that they look and feel of such high quality and are so effective, and for not even $20. So, Just buy these Duco sunglasses and don’t even waste time looking at other sunglasses!! Wow! I’m surprised and very impressed!! A great find on Amazon!

These glasses are top notch for the $

I'm honestly shocked a how nice these are for what they cost. I've had $$$ polarized Oakleys and Maui Jims, both of which I've somehow lost (damn day drinking). Didn't want to buy another pair of very expensive sunglasses. Found these online and took the chance. They are basically just as good outdoors as my others that were way way more $$$. And their very comfortable, actually much more comfortable then my Maui Jims which I could never get to fit comfortable w/o a small headache from the tiny arms digging into your head no matter how much you adjusted them. And these stay put better then the Mauis as far as the nose guards go (friend has the same problem with his Maui Jims). Plus you get a nice hard case, a soft carrying bag, lens towel, and a screw driver, and a cool image test strip for the lens. No more expensive sunglasses for me, I'm sticking with the Duco brand from now on.

Great quality and a few extras that I love. Hello Duko, bye bye Maui jims...

I'm a big fan of sun glasses. I usually buy Serengeti, Maui jim or Rayban. I take very good care of my sun glasses so i usually don't take my good pair on trips. I missed them so much during my last trip, that i decided to get a new pair for my luggage. Oh boy I was not expecting anything this good. Truth is that all other sunglasses are owned by one huge corporation that charges crazy high prices for the same product.

Great Value

Wanted something lightweight and comfortable for running. Had Maui Jim titanium lightweight glasses but they kept breaking at the bridge and the lenses and cost 10xs these. So far these have worked great, no complaints and am very happy with the choice.

Well done

They arrived on time, well packaged, and ready to go. They fit well and block the light without being too big or too small. You can't compare them to the pair of Maui Jim's that I use for driving, but I am not worried about breaking them or loosing them like the Jimmies. For the money they are great sunglasses and very durable.
