Reviews for Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Multi-Use Concealer,110 Fair, 0.2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - Packaging May Vary
People say Maybelline New York is really similar to Nars.
Excellent for busybodies who need light/medium coverage
This is the best concealer I own and I have Fenty, Nars, and Too Faced. I have dry, sensitive skin and was looking for something on-the-go to cover up a significant scar with hyperpigmentation and dark circles; this has been the best so far. I used it without foundation so I may need a lighter color for when I do wear a full face of makeup. The price is amazing for such a highly effective product. I love the applicator and only use a cheap sponge to blend it perfectly.
Very minimal creasing if you have a lot of under eye wrinkles
I have seriously tried just about every concealer out there. They all seem to accentuate my lines and wrinkles under my eyes. This concealer doesn’t sink into my creases hardly at all. I have read tons of comments on concealer where people say that and then I order the concealer and it sinks in and creases horrifically. Idk if different concealer work better on certain skin types or what but shape tape, Nars, Laura Mercer, Sephora, Huda, Estée Lauder, born this way two faced, Jouer, I know I have tried more I just can’t think of them off top of my head but literally most of the top brands out there I have tried and they all made my under eye wrinkles more apparent and I saw this on a YouTube video by a make up artist that gives tips for women over 40 (I’m 38) and I thought I would give it a try. It was sold out at my local stores forever so I eventually ordered it and it works great! I’m not the kind of person that cakes concealer on I use my finger and lightly pat a thin layer under my eyes and in my T zone. I won’t say it doesn’t crease at all but very very minimal especially compared to other brands that are double and triple the price.
Holy Grail Concealer
I've purchased NARS, I've purchase Tarte, I've purchased just about every concealer on the market that claimed to not crease or crepe, and none of them did what they said. All of them were thick and immediately creased my under eye skin and made it appear 20 years older with the crepe effect. That's not a good thing considering the price of those items. But that barely happens with this tiny, cheap concealer! Sure, there is still a little creasing near my tear ducts, because caking on makeup and powder there seem to make it happen no matter how much I moisturize or get treatments. But the Age Rewind Concealer reduces it overall under my eye and the coverage is great! Barely any creasing and no crepe skin! I know people were complaining about the applicator sponge, but I like it. If you press it into your skin as opposed to wiping back and forth, you will get better coverage.
The best I’ve found for mature skin
I was on a mission to find a concealer that did not gather in my fine lines around my eyes. After watching several YouTube reviews I decided to try this. Although I still get some settling in my fine lines, this product looks good and is the really the best one I’ve found. It even works even better than my expensive Nars Radiant concealer. I bought both the “brightening” and the “light” shade. I sometimes use both but I like the brightening shade the best. It’s a little bit more shear than other brands but it’s very buildable.
Moisturizing and not too thick
This product is great! It’s thin and does not cake up or settle into my lines or wrinkles. I don’t typically, but this is way better than even my NARS concealer. And not nearly as expensive. I have fair skin w a lot of red undertones. This has a yellowish tint and worked great w my BB cream and other liquid foundations. Just blend it a little with your foundation so you don’t have that obvious “concealer” look. I use self-tanners do blending this w a darker foundation (2-3 shades darker) works great! I did a lot of research and this product did not disappoint!
Affordable and wonderful
I’ve been using Nars concealer since I ran out of Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. I’ve read Nars is the best, give me Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer any day. Goes on much smoother, sheerer, doesn’t highlight your wrinkles, rather smooths them. Highly recommend.
This works really nicely. I wear the lightest shade of NARS tinted ...
Update: I seemed to be having the same problem described by other reviewers that the product stopped coming out of the applicator. I solved the problem by simply holding it upside down with the applicator at the bottom, and waited and patiently clicked, and after a little while it came out again right as rain. Just received product: This works really nicely. I wear the lightest shade of NARS tinted moisturizer (Finland), and I was concerned this Fair shade wouldn't be light enough, but it's just right.
Love this stuff!
If it came in a bigger size I'd buy it -- great coverage, wonderful bright effect without creating raccoon eyes! I was a long-time NARS user but this is now my go-to for under-eye coverage...Keep making this, Maybelline!
I thought I would try this after years of using NARS creamy concealer (which is $30 bucks!!) it's become an internet sensation and always considered a dupe to the NARS amongst makeup artists on Instagram, etc. And now I'm having a moment folks! Because I think I like it better and I can't believe it!!! It's so soft and powdery and has an amazing brightening effect. The pigment is great, maybe just SLIGHTLY less then the NARS but barely. I love love love the applicator tip as well, it's soft and applies flawlessly. Basically it's an AMAZING value! Worth!
Best Concealer For Your Money
I have tried concealers from Nars, Jane Iredale, IT, and numerous other boutique brands. Nothing has given me better coverage for my under eye circles and lines than this concealer. It’s smooth consistency with moisturizering ingredients helps me look younger and refreshed. It has a good range of colors to match my makeup and the sponge tip makes application a breeze.
Helps with dark under eye circles
I have tried many concealers over the years. My issue is deep tear tracks, and age more the discolored skin. No product is truly going to fix that, but this sure helps! I got the color right first time. I do moisturizer and let that sit a bit before applying. It helps to have a soft concealer brush or makeup sponge to blend as more product comes out then I need (working on getting that right). Stays in place, does not settle weird as some products seem to end up separating and floating on top of skin. If I’m in a hurry, I’ll do inner eyes, nose and around mouth and blend out well and it’s all I’ll need. Tapping a bit of MAC Studio Fix really keeps things in place for me. I am a MAC NW 25, I purchased the medium. I like this better then MAC, Nars, and Este Lauder concealers to name a few. Real winner especially at this price!
