Works for my inherited Oster Glass Blender
Been using this new ring for a few months now and no issues with breaking down. I use my glass blender every day just about and the old ring needed to be tossed so thankfully amazon had these listed. I think they are a bit wider than the original ring but it's not enough to be a problem. My blender is several decades old I believe, the coloring looks 80s?? In case this has some weight on your decision.

Inexpensive replacements
I've used an Oster blender for many years. The O-rings harden with age, and have to be replaced periodically.

Fits osterizer perfectly
I bought this rubber ring when the original one that came with my osterizer blender broke within a month. This ones look very solid and durable. I have used one for a month now and it works amazing. You can tell that this is way better than the one that came with the blender. I am glad I purchased it. And it shipped very quickly and arrived before the estimated time.

Perhaps not as chewy as the old one
We lived in Bogotá, Colombia for a couple of years, and everyone had an Osterizer, especially the 'beehive' metal model, to make juices out of the various weird fruits. Arriving back in the states, I found a good one on eBay and bought it. We were making wwaaayyy too much mole (the brown Mexican sauce) one night and the bottom of the pitcher got loose; the old gasket got Osterized. We continue to find chewy little bits of gasket as we have unfrozen and enjoyed the sauce over the last year. These new gaskets are just fine.

Not much more to say. For the price of 1”Authentic Oster gasket” you get 4 of these and the one I’m using does just fine.

This Saved Me!!
One morning I was blending up my mason jar breakfast smoothie and heard a terrible noise. Alarmed, I stopped the blender and unscrewed the base. To my horror found that somehow the rubber ring had slipped up into the mason jar and was cut in half by the blades. I didn't get to have my smoothie that morning and I was late to work. I was so upset because I just KNEW that I would have to buy a new blender because replacement parts seem to be a rarity these days. I was also upset because that would mean that I would be on my third blender (with the first one, the pitcher broke and I could not find a replacement for it). I was so upset that I decided to try and hunt a replacement ring down. I was so happy to find these on Amazon. Not only are they cheap, but they send you a pack of three. They work just as well as the original ring and I have comfort in knowing that replacement parts do in fact exist for my Oster blend. One year later, I still have the two unused rings in my drawer.

I always keep spare gaskets for my old Oster blender, as they do wear out. These units are as described and work as expected. The price point represented a good value at the time of purchase.

Excellent replacement part for older Oster Blender
After a long period time, the gasket had become brittle, on my Oster blender. I was afraid it would start to leak. Pleased to find a replacement for it in Amazon!
