Amazing, must buy

This is a dupe for the owlet monitor! I couldn’t afford the owlet price tag and when I found this one by Sense-U I knew I had to buy it. I love it so much! I’m able to sleep without worry and I no longer wake up every 5 minutes to check on my baby because there’s a loud alarm that goes off if anything is wrong. The only issues I have with this device is updates, it says to not have it on baby but when doing that the alarm will go off because it doesn’t detect a temperature. My other issue is the fact that the device and alarm need to be in the same room. If I take my baby out of the room it will no longer monitor her vitals. Right now baby is sleeping in our room so it isn’t a huge issue but when she moves to her room it would be nice to keep the monitor in our room

Keeps boyfriend, family, and I sane

I bought this while in the ER with my 4 day old baby. We had been home for about 5 hours when I went to take my daughter off of me from breastfeeding and she was no longer breathing. My bf and I performed cpr and were able to revive her, but ended up staying in the nicu with her for 6 days. I knew we wouldn’t be able to sleep afterwards with out something to help keep track of her breathing but I just couldn’t justify the cost of the owlet and so I stumbled across this monitor that has been an absolute godsend. There are a few things that could be improved with the monitor but nothing that would deter me from buying it again. We have now been using it for a month. The app is very user friendly and tells me what position baby is in, her breathing per minute and her temperature. We have turned off the alarm for rolling over because it kept going off whenever I would breastfeed or burp her on the shoulder, which was annoying because she can’t even roll over yet. This monitor helped me one night when I accidentally swaddled her too tightly and I at first thought the alarm was just going off for no reason because some people wrote that it would do false alarms but I eventually realized her swaddle was too tight and I am grateful for that. Cons to the monitor: -I wish it would hook up to another persons phone as well so we didn’t have to rely on my phone. - it does not have a long distance for the Bluetooth but thankfully I live in a trailer so our space is small - the other day it... Calmed my nerves!

I’m a first time mom and this help SO MUCH when we came home from the hospital. My baby had to spend 11days in the NICU and had surgery done. I was worried about her being able to breathe well at night and I love how this lets you know that she is moving and everything is okay. It did give me a few false alarms at first but using I’d rather it be a false alarm when I check then not have checked at all. She’s now almost 2 months and I don’t get any false alarms anymore and we still use it every night in her bassinet and while she takes naps in her crib alone during the day. Overall I love it and way more affordable then something like the owlet sock. Love this product.

Works as expected and a piece of mind at night, recommend!

So far works great and a wonderful piece of mind makes a great alternative to the previous owlet sock that no longer can be used to monitor baby

Peace of Mind

I started with an Owlet and then made the terrible mistake of connecting it to the Dream app and losing ALL functionality. In a panic I found this device and was anxious to give it a try. It’s super easy to setup & it slips onto my baby’s diaper without issue. I sleep much easier knowing he is breathing & isn’t over heating in his swaddle. The only disappointment I have is that due to his being swaddled, the device almost always says he is on his back. So, I had to turn that alarm option off which is fine for now since he is not yet rolling over but could be a bit of an issue once he can. I am hoping that when we switch to a sleep sack it will no longer automatically think he is on his back. Overall, I am very happy to have this nifty little device! Thumbs up from this new mama.

Give it a try

Baby was born 5 weeks early and in NICU for 2 weeks due to apnea(forgetting to breathe). Loved this product when brought baby home but somehow got wet and did not work again. Did not smell like urine, diaper was not wet, and submerged in rice for 3 days and did not fix problem. Ordered an Owlet but does not connect to app(always a connection issue), and does not detect body temperature like Sense-U(DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $300!!!) Would order Sense-U again before anything else.

Like/liked - could be better

I waited for a few weeks before I did my review.. I had my eyes set on the Owlet, but didn't have the money for it. I came across this and read the reviews, it didn't seem bad, reviews were good.. So I ordered it.. this could be a great product, but it constantly stops working. I am forever having to forcestop the app. That doesn't help a mom with a new baby have even the slightest piece of mind.

Nice device issue with app on occasion

The item would get 5 stars from me if the app didnt have occasional issues with disconnecting and reconnecting. I'm a first time mom and the stress of everything that can go wrong when my loved one is sleeping was keeping me up all night. It made for an extremely exhausted mom. Once I'm sure the device will stay connected it gives me peace of mind that it will go off if my loved one is having any issues. This is also financially more realistic then the owlet.

just buy the owlet....

not sure if it really works. It will go off randomly when our baby is obviously fine. But it will also say that the coffee table has a healthy breathing rate.
