Just as good as the "leading competitors", if not better
I purchased a Qalo ring a few months back for the gym and I ended up losing it right before I went on my honeymoon. I wanted to pick up something else just so that I had an alternative for my traditional wedding band and I ended up going with this Kauai, as it was much cheaper. When I opened it up I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this ring. To be completely honest with you, it is almost the exact same thing a when I opened it up I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this ring. To be completely honest with you, it is the exact same product as Qalo but without the price tag. I ordered a size 9 in this (same as Qalo) and it does fit a little bit more true to size than the last one but the size and shape are the exact same. The size 9 Qalo was a bit tight, while this fits way better. Very happy with this item, especially at a $17 savings.

Previously owned the more expensive version of this
I had previously owned a QALO ring, but over time it got stretched out to the point where it blew off my finger while using one of those jet-dry hand dryers.I decided to try a cheaper model this time, and bought one size smaller than my normal ring size. Couldn't be happier with the fit and finish, it's not too tight but it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere, whereas the QALO felt a little loose right out of the box. I would recommend going down a size or half a size when ordering one of these rings. Unlike metal rings, if it is a little too small it is not going to kill your finger because it naturally has a little bit of 'give' to it.

Great product at an amazing price!
I bought my husband this ring because his Qalo ring was tearing (after about 18 months). We didn’t want to spend $30 for another so I did research and found these. He is a maintenance man/ welder and it is a must for him to wear a safety ring. He loves the feel of it and says it is very comfortable. It is very well made and looks like a much more expensive ring but at a fraction of the cost of others. He has worn it every day, gets grease and all sorts of stuff on it and the color hasn’t faded at all. He says he forgets he has it on! Great product at an amazing price!

Same quality as Qalo at half the price!
Firstly, I paid full price for this product. Sustains: Great product, fair price, prompt shipping and good packaging. Fit is true to size and feels just like Qalo's product at half the price! I can't wait to put it to some hard rugged use (lifting, bar work, and training) and update this after a few months. I will definitely be recommending this to friends. Improves: I wish they gave a carrying case instead of the box. It would be convenient to have a case that clips onto/into my bag so I can put my regular band in that when I go to the gym. But that doesn't affect my impression of the product so it still gets 5 star.

Perfect for active life
I wanted a silicone ring that I can wear all the time for my active life style but don't want to keep switching around with my Wedding ring. My wedding ring is size 8 but I went up one size to size 9 with Kauai after trying out size 8. I like my ring slightly loose not tight. Because the silicone material, size 8 Kauai felt a bit tight. I would have to take it off at night to let my finger breathe. The ring looks and feels phenomenal. It's comparable to Qalo ring but not at a steep price for something that is just rubber. I can't wait for Kauai to have more color option.

Delivered in 2 days on Prime , as promised. The size is exactly as advertised. Same as the ring sizer at my jeweler's. Silicone is high quality, not very stretchy, but soft enough for a very comfortable fit. Will stretch enough to get over an enlarged knuckle. Very slight texture to the surface (which I like), not perfectly smooth. Band is wider than most wedding rings (even men's - it's almost twice the width of mine). But so are the other silicone bands I've seen. If you want a thinner one that is the same as your metal band, go for the women's version. Looked at the Qalo bands in my local sporting goods store - Identical size, identical firmness of the silicone. Again, the Kauai has a very faint amount of surface texture vs the Qalo. Other than that, the only difference is the price and the logo imprint.. This was 1/3 the price of the Qalo. Holding up very well to outdoor sports, rock climbing, and yard work.

Perfect Ring for an Active Lifestyle
I had been leaving the wedding ring at home when doing things like swimming, running, biking, and lifting weights, as I was afraid to lose or damage it. Being relatively new to this whole "marriage" thing, I was thrilled by these silicone rings I started seeing. Several friends recommended Qalo bands, but when I went on Amazon to get one for myself I discovered a handful of lower cost options. I did a few minutes of "research," and went with the coolest name: Kauai. The Kauai ring is sleek and comfortable, but it does stretch a bit after use, so I would get a somewhat smaller size than your usual ring. I misplaced my first one a couple of weeks back (my money is on the cat) and immediately ordered a replacement. I couldn't be happier with this product, and I recommend it for anyone who likes to live life outside the lines.

Great. Cheaper and better than other brands.
I like these rings better than the more expensive Qalo brand though I have both brands. Kauai rings are more ridged and don't seem as flimsy. They're also thicker which helps with keeping it in place. I've actually had my Qalo ring slide off my finder mid workout and Kauai are less likely to do that (in my experience). Another thing to consider with sizing. I wa seized for a metal ring at a 10 but my knuckles are larger than the portion of my finder where the ring sits. If this is the case for you as well, I'd recommend ordering a size down. The 10 fit fine but when I made a fist I saw daylight between my finger and the ring and the 9 fits perfectly.

Durable and fits good
#1 reason for me to wear a rubber ring is my knuckle is a size 11 and my finger a size 9 so it solves that floppy metal ring issue. I got this brand ring after having a Qalo for a year. The size is sized perfect as it should. The reason i am only giving 4 stars is because the rubber is a little more stiff and slightly thicker compared to a Qalo ring. I am a mechanic so i tend to go through quite a few of these, but it has been durable so far after 2 months just not quite as soft a rubber as i had. Great product for the price and thats the reason i tried this brand. 3 rings were cheaper then my other single ring was. If you want something slightly more comfy go with a Qalo but its nowhere near bad enough to bother my calloused hands.

I would get blisters on my fingers from firearms training, lifting weights and while hitting groudballs to infielders. I bought the QALO ring because I was intruiged by the no-nonsense, low-profile design. I can say that the ring met and exceeded my expectations. I have to periodically check to see if I actually have a ring on, due to the fact that it is so comfortable; thereby making it easy to forget you're wearing a ring in the first place. I would recommend this ring to those whom work with their hands.

Great ring for both active and inactive lifestyles and even for budget weddings!
My ring is a size 9, so I ordered a size 9 and what do you know. Perfect fit. I often forget it is there. It is nice to have for the gym or if you are doing manual labor. My wife wants me to wear a ring at the gym because I am so attractive she wants all the other ladies to know that I am taken so they stop making moves on me. That's not what she said, but that is how my mind translated it. I didn't wear my tungsten carbide ring since it hurt to grip stuff with it. I normally wear lifting gloves to the gym, so you can't see my ring anyways. ANYWAYS.... This is great for me. I have a desk job, but my tungsten ring hurt to type with even. This is also great for running or hiking so when your fingers swell up in the heat it stretches with your finger. You should take it off at least every couple days i've learned. I read a review on a different silicon ring like this where it was rubbing off someone's skin on their finger. I almost had the same thing happen to me. It has nothing to do with any brand, but the nature of the material the rings are made with. This is why and how it happens. When you have a silicon ring on your finger it traps all moisture and sweat underneath it on your skin. It is like when you go swimming and your fingers turn into raisins from all the absorbed water. A very well made silicon ring comparable to the big name silicon ring companies.
I had a Qalo ring and I really like it but lost it after being pummeled into the sand by a wave that looked worth of body surfing, it wasn't. The Qalo ring was great but it was slipperier? than this ring. It may have been from wearing it for so long but it slid off fairly easy and had stretched out a bit. Good news was that even that ring was only $20 and I still have the fancy ring I wore at my wedding. The Kauai ring seems to be as good if not better quality than the Qalo ring. It seems a bit more low profile and I like the appearance more than my Qalo. It's true to size and seems very well manufactured, especially considering the price point. It's a great deal for the cost and I will try to update it as I wear it around. Silicone rings are great and my Qalo ring was great before it disappeared into Davy Jones' Locker. I work in public safety and I work out and these rings keep me from degloving my finger (don't google if you have a weak stomach) or have issues if I injure my finger. I did mess up my ring finger during a move and thank god I had the Qalo on. My finger swelled up and I almost could get that ring off. I have no idea what I would have done with my Tungsten ring. Anyways, good buy, you'll be happy with it.

College baseball tested
Love this! I have had Kauai and Qalo. I like Kauai better and it lasted longer. I played college baseball and had my Kauai during two seasons. I wore it every day for practice, games and workouts and it lasted over two years. Baseball can be pretty brutal on your hands, but the Kauai held up. It ended up breaking because it was grabbed and pulled by my daughter. My Qalo only lasted about a year while playing baseball.

Outstanding product!
I lost my Qalo and ordered one from Kauai. Came in quick but I ordered the wrong size so could not wear it. Company was asking me if I was satisfied with the product or not and I said I couldn't wear it since it was too small. They told me they will send me another one free of charge just please send back the one that I ordered previously in a posted envelope. Newone came in quick perfect size I could not tell the difference between Qalo or Kauai. I'm very satisfied with the quality it is just as good or maybe better than Qalo for 1/3 of the price! But what I am the most impressed about is the outstanding customer service, a true heart behind a great quality product! I highly recommend it to anyone.
