10/10 comparable to red backs but for 1/2 the cost and even better! Seriously one of the best things I’ve bought. Comfy and seem durable will be wearing them for EMS work

Better than Redbacks!!
These boots are comfortable. I’ve worn red backs for many years and these are actually better! Since I’m on my feet all day I get them a size larger. They are pretty wide, so maybe it would have been better sticky with my true size, but I’m not disappointed with going a size larger. First time with steel toed boots, so the extra weight was not ideal at first. Right now, I don’t even realize the extra weight. I’d buy again and might even buy other styles. Very happy with the purchase!

I feel the boots are a bit snug. Hoping the break in is quick
They are medium weight not too light. They are similar to red backs. But these are a bit stiff. Have a week wearing them and waiting to see if they break in quick.

Give them a chance
I bought these to replace my red backs that had lasted three years as an industrial electrician. Initially these were tight and the heel area caused discomfort. I spent three weeks alternating between boots to break these in and now they are incredible! Will definitely buy again at this price the quality will be hard to beat.

Totally worth the money. Don’t waste your money on red backs or snap ons. Just get these, way more comfortable and I’ve owned all three.

Once you get past the two days of the tongue digging into your shin they fit great and are very comfortable. I like them much better than Red Backs. At a better price.

GREAT BOOT FOR COMFORT AND VALUE
This is a great boot. I am a firefighter and use them as station boots. I have worn these boots for a couple of weeks and they are very comfortable. If you decide to buy these boots, buy your true size and one half size smaller than true size. See which size works best, then return the other pair. I bought a half size smaller than my true size, similar to Redbacks, and they fit perfect at first. Be aware that at first, the part of the boot that comes up the front to the bottom of front lower leg is stiff and will be uncomfortable. This subsides within a day or two after wearing them for some hours. After wearing them a little bit, it seems like my toes barely touch the front of the boot. This is not enough, however, to bother me or to get my true size. If you want a little bit extra room in the toe box, get your true size. I’d say the insole in these boots is very comfortable. You can feel the curves of the insole hugging the curves of your foot. It is a nice squishy feeling. The only criticism I have so far is that some of the stitching is already popping out on the left toes cover and on the back of the right boot where the 3 bulging lines are next to the Red Rooster symbol. I used scissors to clip off the straggling thread, and have not had any continuing issue with the read coming undone.
