i love it personally! everyones hair is different so that equals different reactions. dont over-do the oil or else your hair will become oily looking. i would say a quarter size amount is PERFECT 💖 it makes my hair very soft and restores the dead ends

My New Favorite *Must Have* Hair Product
For the first time, I'm EXCITED to write a review!! I need to start by talking about my hair. I have longer (about 5 inches below my shoulders), thick, fine hair. Because of this, most hair products leave my hair greasy, limp, lifeless and feeling dirty. Typically, I use a color protection shampoo & conditioner, and the tiniest amount of a leave in treatment (think smaller than the size of a chap stick cap) and only on the ends. I usually let my air dry the majority of the way, and use a blow dryer the rest of the way. I do use a flat iron or curling iron 3-4 days a week. I've been working on growing my hair out so I can donate it, and I have about an inch to an inch and a half left to go before I can cut it. Because of that, my ends have been looking less than their best. I've tried several different products and nothing made them look better and just ended up making my hair look dirty. When I found this product, I hesitated because of the higher price tag. But because I received the "Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask" as a freebie from Ulta during my birth month and LOVED it, I figured I would try it. And with Ulta's return policy, I figured I had nothing to lose. It works pretty well
I have 4c hair as well as seborrheic dermatitis. I have been looking for something that I could use daily that wouldn't cause buildup. This product works well in that my hair feels softer and doesn't feel heavy at all. I found applying it to damp hair was better for me. It's not a miracle worker but it has helped make my hair softer with less breakage.

Works great for me - and no silicone!
I know everyone's hair is different - mine is 2a-ish wavy, gray/white, no color or other chem treatments. Medium density and thickness, shoulder length. I only blow dry about once a month since pandemic but did dry, straighten regularly before. I recently cut off 3 inches so ends are pretty healthy now but I was using on my longer hair as well. I have found lots of great hair oils/serums that work intermittently for me - great example is Ouia hair oil, the first time I got a sample of that, I thought I had hit the jackpot - wonderful smell, silky hair like I've never had outside of salon visits, but then it just stopped working for me after a couple weeks. I'm not going to speculate too much since I'm not a chemist, but my suspicion is that my hit or miss results with other oils have to do with build up on my hair either from that product or my other products (shampoo, cond, etc) Briogeo hair oil has been working nicely for 3+ months. I also switched to sulfate free/silicone free in all of my products so that might factor in. A little goes a very long way - I literally tip the bottle over into my palm twice, rub my hands together until they are warm and then smooth only from the ears down. I only use it on completely dry hair. It's a godsend for day 2/3 hair when it's just a mess. Makes my hair feel silky, look less 'fluffy' and smooths down the fly-aways. Loving the Results!
I have thick corse blonde hair (I am naturally dark brown) was looking for a hair oil that was light weight and I am so happy I purchased this one. A little goes a long way. I like to add this product at night before bed. Feels like a nice overnight hair treatment. In the morning my hair is soft, manageable and not frizzy. My hair soaks up the product without any greasy feel. The packaging is so pretty with the little roses inside the bottle. I will definitely be purchasing again. I do use this oil every night, if you have fine or thin hair probably use every other night. I have only used this product on my hair when it's dry. But will try it the next time I do a blow out.

Perfect for my hair texture
Hair OIL is not for everyone. I have very frizzy fine hair that is curly. Let's say I've tried every product i can this summer to tame it, none have worked. Hair creme seems to just evaporate, mouse is useless and anti frizz products don't make a dent. This product seems to be the first one I've tried that actually helps. Yes my hair looks like it has some kind of product in it, but it's the look I have been wanting to achieve. My curls are defined and the frizz is tamed. The only thing is i have to make sure I don't overload the product on wet hair or it does look oily but once hair dries you can add more and it's fine. I also love that little flower in the bottle!

I really love this hair oil! I've tried so many oils and this is definitely my #1 favorite now. Even over the olaplex oil. I feel like this oil really soaks into my hair. A lot of oils seems to just sit on my hair and make it look "shiny" without actually nourishing it. This oils does it all! Softens, shines and hydrates. My ends look amazing too after using this oil. I have waist, almost hip length blonde hair and wash my hair 1 every 5-7 days. A few days after washing, my ends start to look dry and a little frazzled (my hair gets tangled easily so that makes it worse too). But with this oil, that does not happen at all! 10/10 recommend trying!

I've been using this for the past few days and it is making my hair softer, stronger, and shinier each day! It's definitely helping to repair the damage. I have very fine straight hair and it does not make my hair look greasy or oily whatsoever. I shake out about 3-4 small drops, rub it between my palms and apply mostly to the ends, but then go in with what is remaining and smooth it over my mid length. I can't believe how great it is, I am honestly blown away! You do not need a lot so the bottle will last a long time. Also I am very sensitive to smells, and this does have a scent but it dissipates quite quickly and doesn't bother me at all. It's just so good, I'm beyond happy I found this!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!
This is so worth the price tag! This has literally transformed my hair! It's been so dull and dry lately for reasons unknown to me since i have virgin hair that i dont use heat on, but just a few little drops of this turn my hair into shiny, silky heaven and really defines my waves if i put it on when my hair is damp. I have very thin, very fine hair but this does not weigh it down or make it look greasy at all, just gleaming and healthy looking. I saw some reviews where people complained about it being difficult to get out the bottle but I like that because most oils come out too fast which forces you to either waste it or put too much on, but this makes sure you get just the right amount. For my kind of hair, even though it's long, this will last me a long time, so definitely worth the money and I will be buying bottle after bottle till the end of time. So happy I found this brand!!

Beautiful bottle, and smells amazing!
This hair oil is AMAZING. The bottle is gorgeous, with a little floating rose inside. It smells like a rose garden and it so relaxing. My hair has been a tangly mess since COVID started, and this has significantly helped decrease the knots in my hair. It's left my hair soft, shiny, and smelling amazing. I normally let my hair dry and it has worked wonders, and I can't wait to use styling tools to see how it works as well. The only con I found is that you cannot squeeze the bottle (it's glass) so you have to shake a few times to get the amount of oil out that you need. Overall not a deal breaker as the product itself is amazing.

I cannot believe after 49 years on this planet I have now found an actual natural product that exquisitely defines my curls when my hair is wet! No frizz, AMAZING smell, beautiful shine to my hair — where has this been all my life?! Highly recommend, praying Briogeo NEVER modifies the ingredients as this needs NO improvement; praying EVEN MORE Briogeo NEVER discontinues! Wow - what a product!! What an amaaaaaaziiiing fragrance! Lovely, reduces tangles, adds softness & shine
This stuff is the bomb, it's the only hair oil I've tried that actually makes a noticeable difference in my hair. I got a free sample, definitely buying the full size. It smells so good, kinda floral. My hair is dry, prone to frizz and tangles from the length- this stuff makes my hair SO much softer and smooth. I don't have tangles when I use this & it adds shine. I've tried avocado oil (which is more of a treatment than a leave in oil), grape seed, almond oil, coconut (way too heavy), biosilk (drying), etc I don't need to try anything else this is my jam lol

SO GOOD!
I have really fine hair and my ends are super dry. This product paired with the Don't Despair moisturizing shampoo and deep conditioning mask, is an added layer of moisture and detangling agent. I add a few drops and gently work it into the ends of my hair which works wet or dry. When needed I like to add a couple drops to smooth out some frizz. Love the packaging and smell, so pretty!

Smells so good
This product smells so good. A little bit goes a long way. Works for detangling for me and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. Seems to help treat existing damage and the the packaging so so cute with the mini rose! Highly recommend. Have already purchased a back up though one was gifted to me.

It's Magic! Perfect for finger-detangling!
I have been using this for over 6 months, once a week, on freshly washed, damp, very, very kinky (4b) afro-textured, natural short (6 ins. long) hair. It's the first product I use before I apply my leave in moisturizer. I do not comb or brush my hair. I finger detangle with 'Don't Despair...Oil" and, then I use a large-tooth comb in the hair. The comb never hits a snag after this oil is applied (about a quarter size amount for each 1/4 of my head). Smells like HEAVEN! I lightly blow dry (on cool( before applying a very soft hair gel, and my kinks-that-become curls, are smooth, and dry perfectly with no frizz. LOVE THIS PRODUCT! It's a wash day staple.

This is a Great hair oil!
I love this! It has strengthened my hair and all while giving it shine and keeping frizz at bay! I run it through the ends of my damp hair and more through the very ends then Scrunch my curls up. This leaves my hair looking so shiny! I use a bit more on my dry hair, it doesn't weigh down my curls. It's definitely given back strength to my strands too! I love it, highly recommend!

Perfect for my Curly Locks!
It smells wonderful, looks gorgeous and keeps my hair soft and shiny! Don't Despair, Repair! Strengthening Treatment Oil for the win! Love this product so much. Curly hair can often get dry and damaged at the ends. Our natural hair oil has a harder time traveling down a curly hair shaft. Thankful for this light and effective hair oil to help nourish my curls. So good!
