I wear dresses nearly everyday and like to have a bit of a control top to hold together the jiggle while also avoid thigh chaffing. I've been a Spanx fan for a very long time. I paid a premium for what I felt was a premium product. Specifically I loved their "higher power" shapping panty for ages. I could wash and wear the same item for several years before needing to buy new ones. Then they decided to "improve" this product by making it in a different material and it would not last one wear without getting holes.. So I had to begin a hunt for a replacement. I've tried a few other brands but struggled to find something that provided a bit of control without feeling strangled and didn't roll down. Thankfully I took a chance on these and have found a great replacement for LESS than half the cost. As for long term durability, it's too soon to say but I'm very pleased with the material (its smooth and doesn't create static cling), its staying power (despite not having a rubber waist to stick to your skin, it stays up nicely) and the gentle shaping effect to hold everything in. The only negative is that it does run a tiny bit smaller than usual so if you are not sure of your size, size up.

Comfortable and does the job
OMG, the most comfortable shapewear ever. I long ago decided I couldn't handle spanx and flexees and all, but this is soooo easy to wear you hardly know it's on. No problem getting it on and off. And most importantly it does the trick. I bought a dress I almost sent back because of the bulges that showed, but with this piece under it, the dress fits smoothly. So I'm ready for the holidays. Bali is the best.

Really keeps you cool
Wore this outside for 6 hours in sticky Georgia humidity for 4th of July fireworks -- stayed cool and dry. Slimming power is probably a 3 out of 4 (not as good as my spanx, but worth it for the comfort). Legs stayed down, waist stayed up abs provided good support for my back. Material is silky, so clothing just glides over it. If I had one nitpick, the legs seemed a little short on me, but I'm 6'.

PLUS SIZE WOMEN LOOKING TO "KEEP EVERYTHING IN" THIS IS AMAZING. The shorts to not roll up at all and its not suffocating either. I am a size 18 and this fit was perfect for what i need to hide those "rolls". Plus the price point was reasonable not like SPANX which is overpriced.

Bali is the Best!!!
Downsized to a large (I wear a size 16) and it fits great! Holds me in everywhere. Doesn't roll or bind. The best if all shape wear I've ever purchased including Spanx and most Maidenform.

Bought this body slimmer for my daughter...she absolute loves it...says it feels like she doesn't even have anything on...also doesn't roll down...she gave it a big thumbs up!!!

Better than Spanx.
Fantastic shaper. It smoothes without pinching. I have several that I've had for more than a year and have stood up to weekly washing. They actually hold up better than the more expensive spanx. No runs or tears in fabric.
