People say Cerave is really similar to Summer Fridays.

keep in mind this is really only good for people with REALLY dry skin. this is perfect for the winter bc my skin gets so stiff and dry, but i definitely wouldn't use this in the summertime.

Works Great for Normal/Combo Skin

I love this product because it is very universal and I can use it with any part of my nightly skin routines. I use the Ordinary's AHA/BHA mask, and I love to follow up with this moisturizer since it has no chemicals that would react with other products. I really don't use a lot at a time, as it is very thick, but I like how it feels like it creates a barrier for my skin without feeling like it is clogging my pores. It really does feel like it renews my skin, and I use this 4-5 times a week in the winter. I live in a very humid area, so I use it less in the summer (3 ish times a week). Kinda expensive, but one container usually lasts me 4 ish months, so I don't mind the price as much.

This is such a

This is such a great night cream especially for winter because it's a thicker formula, for me it's alittle too heavy for summer months. My skin stays hydrated, and I've noticed a change in my texture as well. Very affordable, recommend.

Don't sleep on this cream (figuratively)

This stuff rocks. It's thick, creamy and hydrating without being greasy. Perfect for winter...come summer I'll probably just stick with the cerave moisturizing cream. To those who are mad about your package being "half full," it's the proper weight that is stated on the tub...you're not getting scammed. Also, it's a little pricey because of all the nourishing, high quality ingredients. Peptides are not cheap! If you're bugged by the price, cerave regularly offers coupons for their products on their website :)

excellent gentle (yet effective) cream; not just for night

i bought this because my skin was super irritated and its moisture barrier was fried from overdoing acne treatments, and i needed a gentle, soothing, and very moisturizing cream. needless to say it was perfect for that purpose, healed my skin in under a week, but it was so good that i didn't just stop using it there, it replaced and became one of my regular creams (along with olay regenerist ultra rich) and it's great for the day too especially if your skin is on the dry side or it's winter. even though it very rich and hydrating, it is completely NON greasy, in fact it has sort of an almost matte finish. if my face is looking shiny i can put this on and it actually cuts down the shine despite being ultra hydrating. i'm 25 with very acne prone skin that leans oily in the summer and very dry in the winter. issues besides being acne prone are fine lines and uneven skin tone. this does not clog my pores at all too which is a major plus. i haven't seen effects on my fine lines from this yet but it's only been about 3 maybe 4 weeks. i have noticed changes in skin tone though, big time. it is so much more even and glows. dark spots are significantly reduced already. textural issues (besides lines) such as old acne scars are majorly smoothed out too. i also use their hyaluronic serum and hydrating cleanser, both of which i also highly recommend

Perfect for my sensitive, dry skin.

My skin needs gentle, hypoallergenic products. Everything breaks me out. Super plain-Jane staples like Clinique's Dramatically Different and even blue-tub CereVe break me out! But this? This is the good stuff! I live in a super cold, super dry place. I need something that hydrated but is also a bit occlusive. This fits the bill perfectly. Perfect if you need that classic cream comfort but want a modern formulation without fragrance and with niacinimide. I use it day and night, and it keeps my skin happy all year: in the summer when I am washing dirt and bug spray off my face daily, and in the winter when I'm out in -30F chopping wood. Oh, and when I'm feeling more civilized, my makeup applies just fine over it too. If you're the type who likes an oil primer or using some extra moisturizer as primer or right before priming, you'll like this! It's an almost balmy cream but without melting into oil. Gorgeous

I'm a fan, and keep coming back to this even though I've been trying to branch out into ~fancier~ sephora-y brands, because it just does the job. No frill, no scents, no greasy feeling after application. When i wake up, my skin feels bouncy and youthful regardless of how dry my room is in the winter. Usually in the summer I switch to a water cream because of my oily skin, but I highly suggest this for when you need deep emergency winter hydration.

Love this night cream...

Love this night cream to keep my skin hydrated, especially in the winter. It does feel a.little bit heavier, so I recommend it for more dry skin types. In a midwestern winter it keeps my face hydrated and smooth. I even use it in the summer if I've been wearing a lot of makeup and could use the boost.

She's thickkkkkkk!...

She's thickkkkkkk! Perfect for dry flaky skin in the winter. In the summer months when my skin isn't as dry I only use it on the nights after using Retin-A.

This stuff is my secret weapon for dry skin. It's almost like a mask. Between this and Summer Friday's jet lag mask I would choose this everyday. It's not greasy and a little goes a long way. Highly recommend.

Very thick and great for dry skin. My go to during winter time for morning or night. Wouldn't wear it during the summer though, as it may be a little too heavy. Wish it came in a bigger container though.

I used this a few nights a week when my skin was overly dry during the polar vortex that hit my area. Did not break me out and it made my skin so smooth and helped with my flaking and dry patches I was experiencing! Update: Still using this months later and still stand behind this product! On my second tub and this works well for me in the spring/summer as well! The ceramides in it are so great for repairing your skins barrier!

Great Drugstore Cream

I have oily skin, but during the winter I'll get a bit dry with the combination of wind, cold weather, and lots of heaters running. This is my go-to face cream in winter--nice and thick, but dries down not sticky, and I wake up feel moisturized but not overly oily. For me, it's a bit heavy for summer.

really great thick night cream

my husband and I really enjoy this moisturizer. we have pretty dry skin so keep that in mind, but we can even use it in the summer heat (at night of course). it makes my skin feel really hydrated and soft. it has the slightest greasy feeling and I feel like there are probably better night creams out there. for the price, though, thus really can't be beat

This was nice! It's

This was nice! It's a very THICK moisturizer, so if you have oily skin I would not recommend. As a person with combo skin, I can't use this in the summer time, but it was nice for wintertime when my skin was dry and needing a thick moisturizer!

This is a great

This is a great night cream for the winter since it's on the heavier side. I originally started using it during the summer and it just felt too heavy so I handed it down to my mom and she loved it.

So far so good

Just tried it for the first time today. So far so good. It's a heavy, thick moisturizer--you can definitely feel it on your face. But my face tends to get very dry and sensitive and this sort of thing is soothing when that happens. I occasionally like to wear these night moisturizers during the day for this reason. This would be a good in the winter for that--but too heavy during the summer. There's no scent. It feels smooth and creamy. There's not a ton in the jar, but you probably don't need much for any given application--I put it on a little heavy this morning. A thinner application may feel less heavy. I didn't give it 5 stars yet b/c I'm not sure how my skin might react to it--but if there's nothing adverse, it will be 5 stars.

My ultimate night...

My ultimate night cream and final step to my PM skincare routine. Even in the hot summers, it's nice to have on and not too heavy. I don't have anything to say about the anti-aging properties but I can it's perfect for my dry skin, especially in the winter before bed.

I love how thick and moisturizing this product is, especially during the summer months. It rejuvenates parched skin and is gentle, helping to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. For those in their 20s this is a great addition to help maintain a youthful appearance.

This cream helps keep...

This cream helps keep my skin soft and supple– it works wonders keeping my skin from drying out from the Tretinoin and alezaic acid in my skincare regimen! It also contains niacinamide, which is a big plus, considering the affordable cost. I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because of how heavy it feels on the skin. On one hand, a little goes a long way. On the other hand, the consistency may feel uncomfortably heavy during the summer months.

I use this cream...

I use this cream nightly. It's great in the summer or just when it's not too cold. The cream is think and I find that applying in a patting motion does better at distributing the product. In the winter I end up craving a serum to put underneath because it's thick but tacky. While I dont see much improvement in my skin overnight, after using it consistently I do see that my skin is evening out more & that it works naturally to remain hydrated overnight. I would definitely recommend this to someone with normal to dry skin where moisture isnt their biggest concern

Deep moisturizing night cream

Very moisturizing, may be a bit too heavy for daily use in summer but it could work. Does not clog pores and have not noticed an increase in breakouts even though this is a more moisturizing heavy night cream. Do not get in eyes as it could sting. Fairly priced, a little goes a long way.
