Better than department store brands

I love this product and hope it never changes or is discontinued. Color 405 is perfect for me, but hard to find in stores because it’s always sold out. I buy these 3 at a time so I always have it and reorder when I’m about to start my last bottle. It’s lightweight, somewhat buildable for areas of redness, and it absolutely stays put all day and into the evening. It’s perfect for my dry skin and has a semi-matte finish with just a touch of luminosity. Looks fresh and never heavy, and it never changes color/oxidizes on me. I’ve used most every department store foundation, plus some brands at Sephora and Ulta like Bobbi Brown, Smashbox, Laura Mercier, and It cosmetics, to name a few. None of them provide a big enough benefit to justify their double, triple, or even quadruple cost of Infallible. In fact, several of the expensive brands caused bad breakouts on my sensitive skin, especially the ones with a lot of dimethicone in the first few ingredients listed in the formula. I use a disposable sponge for application and the finish is lovely. No scent, no irritation. For undereye circles, I use a very light application of Tarte Shape Tape concealer on top of Infallible, also using a sponge. Works beautifully. If you haven’t tried Infallible, it may be worth doing so.

Awesome for dry combo skin!

First of all, I don’t really like foundations. But i love the coverage it gives me. I have giant pores, and redness. But..... I have dry ass skin. Dry skin, I mean like every foundation I have ever used has looked like total sh!t. I have used a ton of foundations (Becca, BH, Maybelline, Colourpop, makeup revolution, Too face, MILK, and tarte). I decided to try this because eff it I have a bag full of failed foundations what’s another one to the list. I have to say this changed my makeup game. Yeah sure I finally got my skin care life together too but this stuff right dear god it saved my makeup life. I can use a brush too and it doesn’t mess it all up. The sponge is the best application for me because my skin is so dry but if I’m in a hurry the brush is good too. I love this foundation!

My new favorite

Absolutely love this make up. I have been switching foundation every few months because I seem to dislike them after prolonged use. I prefer a matte foundation that doesn’t cake or look overly dry. This did not disappoint me. It looks wonderful and it lasts all day. I recently went through a phase of wasting money on high end brands. This worked better than Tarte, Lancôme and Este Lauder. I am glad I took the chance. What’s even better is I seriously never looked at the product in stores but got lucky ordering my exact shade the first time.

Good quality for a good price

Super light weight and pretty impressive coverage wise for the price you pay. Used Tarte and Mac before but prefer this product now.

Great everyday for full coverage foundation

This is my favorite drugstore foundation. I wear 430, it’s an exact match to my Estée Lauder Ecru 1N2. I can basically alternate between the two and you wouldn’t be able to tell a difference. I also have this in shade 425 and 435, which are they shades right above and below it on the color chart. When I’m a little more tan I mix in some 435 and when I’m not as tan I wear the 425 or just mix some in to 430. If I ran out of 430, I mix 425 and 435 (equal parts) and it’s a match. It’s medium/full coverage, though you can build up another layer if you like it super duper full, which I do. It doesn’t look cakey, just make sure you’re priming and setting the right way for your skin type. For reference, I’m also Y235 in MUFE Ultra HD, and Vienna(4.5) in NARS Natural Radiant Long wear. I have oily skin in my t zone area and the rest of my face is normal with tiny dry spots. this doesn’t clingy to dry spots and it stays intact without me blotting or powdering my face. Once I’ve walked away from my makeup station, I’m not retouching and it stays on until I’m done putting my son to bed. Haven’t tested it 24 hours, but I’d say 16 hours is long enough to be wearing makeup. I apply with a wet sponge. Beauty bender is great, though I’ve been testing it with the real techniques and Sonia Kushak and they’re also fine. I tried to apply this with several brushes, including my favorite tarte and urban decay foundation brushes and it was definitely not for me.
