Looks great, the price was great, doubt it’s real Columbia.

I ordered this for my boyfriend. I ordered a large. First of all, I was so pleased because it arrived the next day after I ordered it. It was supposed to arrive tomorrow or on Saturday, but it just arrived a few minutes ago. He has not tried it on yet, he will in a bit, but I can already tell the large will be a bit roomier on him. He has really long arms so my concern is whether this will cover his arms. If the body fits well, usually the sleeves are a few inches too short. He does typically wear Large. The stitching looks fine, don’t see anything wrong with it. I do agree that the material is not actually fleece, it’s fleece-like. Feels thin but warm. Isn’t super fluffy, which is fine. My order says made in Bangladesh, which the reviews keep saying is the better quality zip-up in comparison to the ones that say made in China. If I don’t forget, I will update the review once he wears it a few times and once it’s washed to see how it holds up. But so far, other than it being fleece-like, it looks great for the price. I don’t know if it’s real Columbia though. I typically wear north face fleeces so I don’t even know what Columbia’s fleeces feel like. I doubt it’s the real thing. UPDATE 12.29.18: it fits him well, it’s very warm. He wears it almost every day when it’s colder outside. Has been washed a few times, still looks fantastic. Did lose the shiny new look after being washed, but it still does the job. We ended up buying the same one except black at TJMaxx for his brot... Read More

Nothing beats a Columbia fleece!

Fits exactly the same as another Columbia fleece I bought at a sporting goods brick&mortar. The one that I received is a genuine Columbia. Some reviews claim that they might not have received an authentic Columbia. I can't speak for them, but compared to the one I've had for years, it's exactly the same and is legit. I got mine direct from Amazon, not a third-party seller. I ordered the black one. It's not BLACK-black, almost a charcoal-black, which is fine by me. If you want black-black, you might have to fork over the additional $70 for a North Face fleece (not worth it imo, and I own a few of them). I paid $45 for the Columbia I bought at the brick&mortar, so I'm very pleased that I saved so much $ buying it on Amazon.

Have now bought several

Absolutely love this fleece jacket. I'm a medical student and wear these fleeces with scrubs most days. They are extremely comfortable and feel like surprisingly good quality, nice and thick and durable zippers. I think they're comparable to North Face or Patagonia but at a quarter of the cost. They are somewhat loose fitting, which is appropriate to the style. If you're between two sizes, go with the smaller one.

Excellent quality, as with Columbia brand

Excellent quality, as with Columbia brand, you always get quality! Soft. Warm. Fabric is non-pilling. I wash in cold with other clothes and let air dry. Did not shrink. True to size and arrived on time. I know they have competition with North Face and Under Armour... I've bought all 3 brands over the years for the family.... I'll always recommend Columbia coats, jackets, mittens, gloves, hats, ect.

Nice Jacket Alone or to Wear an Inner Coat

I like the jacket except for one thing. The brand name “Columbia” is not embroidered on this jacket. It’s replaced by a cheap “iron-on” looking patch. The patch cheapens the appearance of the jacket. It may be time to move back to North Face products.

Columbia jacket

Let this be known that I am a woman writing for a men's jacket. I bought the men's because I cannot stand that "curve" shape that women's clothing has. I want to be warm, not fashionable. I had a Columbia jacket for my entire 4 years of high school and then my current past 3 years of college and it finally started falling the apart during the beginning of this year. I was devastated and had been wanting a new jacket for months now. The style from way back is not sold anymore, so I tried to find something similar that wasn't going to cost me a fortune. I found this jacket for an excellent price and enjoy wearing it for work and to keep myself warm. I'd rather spend what I did now versus spending 200 bucks on a North Face jacket that'll keep me just as warm. There's no sense in spending the extra money. The only issues I have with this jacket, and I guess they should probably fix the size labeling, is that it's a bit too big, and I got myself a men's small. It's more like between a medium and a large. The other issue I came across recently is after washing it, the ties for the zippers came apart and I have to keep retying them, though it's not as nice as what they were when I first got it. Aside from that, I love this jacket. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is looking for a light to medium jacket or something to throw over a hoodie for the winter. :)

Very pleased.

My fiancé needed a jacket as he had ripped his north face. I saw this and ordered it for him. He is 5’10” and about 240. I mistakenly ordered him a 3x instead of 2x but he liked the extra room. Says it is the most comfortable jacket he has ever owned.

BUY THIS!

I was so excited to receive this this morning! I see what all the hype is about with North Face and Columbia jackets. It's soft, comfortable and the warmest jacket I've ever owned. No complaints here! I am ordering one for my husband this weekend. I plan to edit this review after washing to see how it holds up.

Love the soft material and awesome confort

This is somewhat thiner than The North Face fleeces i am used to but ideal for the start of fall in Arizona. The price is spectacular consider than The North Face is out of control and the same item is well over $150. The size is consistent with other brands. Love the soft material and awesome confort. I would buy over and over again!

... Face and some would argue that North Face's are better than Columbia

I have a North Face and some would argue that North Face's are better than Columbia. Columbia is definitely cheaper, but do not let it fool you, it works great! The pockets keep my hands very warm, and when i have my phone in the pocket my phone gets warm too! Definitely worth it!
